  1. Anybody know of any statistical rankings. They do it in other sports. It doesn't mean much mid season, but in other sports (racing sports) that even take conditions into consideration, they can pretty accurately pick the top 6 teams and finishing distance. Would be cool for football.
  2. Not to rain on the parade. Some may consider me an apologist. But it's one game. There was enough room for worry against Chicago. That said I bet we are 2-0 on Sunday. Ugh then GB. If we by change come out 3-0, I'll start to get excited. 2-1 and a close GB game, I'll be an optimist.
  3. I don' mind that at all. Or a modified blackout in local markets, where if the game doesn't sell out, you have the ability to purchase. On a similar note, I hope the Bills, or really any other team looking into a new stadium, start building at about 50-60k seats. As the television experience increases, at game environments become tempered, I would imagine that ticket sales will go down in the next 10 years or so. We shall see though.
  4. Privately funded stadiums, fine blackout. I just don't understand how you take government money, subsidies, and tax cuts, and then deny the people paying for it, the product. This is a long time coming.
  5. I still think this team is skeptical. But home opener given everything that has gone on the past week, we can't drop this game. 28-21 buffalo
  6. Omg. Thank you so much. Bills are staying. TERRY IS CHEAP
  7. Without hijacking the thread, and this might sound terrible. I'm glad she went unconscience the way she did. She didn't have to be stuck in an elevator taking hit after hit from a professional athlete. I would actually consider her in a weird way lucky. Imagine that tape if she doesn't go down right away.
  8. ugh. i looked at receiving. face palm.
  9. To play a little devils advocate. The defense to me was worrisome at time. Forte averaged nearly 11 yards per carry. If you take out his long, it is still 9.8 yards per carry. A little more willingness to stick with the run, and the Bears may win.
  10. Benching a young QB this early in his career basically ends it for them. I'm actually against this. Marcellus Wiley had some great thoughts on the kid. Said Bills fans need to be patient with him. The last fee classes of QB's have spoiled the league. Those QBs aren't the trend they're an anomaly. Obviously paraphrasing
  11. About a year ago I was in Chicago. My girlfriend and I are walking down the street. I have a Bills hat on, and I see somebody walking with a girl towards me with a Sabres shirt on. We both see each other from a distance, preparing for the almighty go Bills/Sabres. As he got closer. Turns out it was one of my better friends little brothers. Haha. It was cool we talked for a while. Pretty random as well.
  12. i only got half way through, but we got the shiiiitiest beer on the list. i also can't believe people are describing the flavor profile of Genny Cream and Labatts. I am a bit of a beer snob, worked at a micro bewery in the midwest for a while. There are so many options for really good beer these days. While I will drink anything around, nobody is considering Labatt Blue and Genny good beers, the same way nobody really thinks McDonalds makes good hamburgers. They have their place and it ends there.
  13. There is a lot of truth to this in Olympic sport. I can't speak on behalf of all or professional sports, but indeed many great coaches are great, because athletes don't feel comfortbable around them. Although that is different than fear and angst.
  14. One key part missing. Marrone is far from "the boss".
  15. This would be a non issue if CK was a player day one. I'm not dating he won't then into a solid player for us, but as of now we would all be a little more comfortable with dropping out last 2 rather than next years first. That in top of what still looks like an atrocious offensive line. As far as immediate lay off goes it looks like a wasted pick.
  16. I would agree with you, except for the inability to use Spiller effectively. Also, and this is the big one, explain to me Woods over Hogan. Both these personnel decisions deserve FO intervention. At least in terms of explanation, because none of us can possibly find a sliver of it.
  17. The real miracle from St. Doug this year, will he if he is in Buffalo for the 2015 season. If he is, then the Bills will for sure be the first choice. The only way I see him staying us being over .500. I dont think 8-8 will cut it in terms of keeping his job.
  18. He's 1-3 against them both. Just FYI.
  19. I can tell this is very important because of all the italics. Thanks!
  20. I don't know how I forgot Kirwin in my first post. He much be my favorite. Although sometimes he sounds like a lame disc jockey with his tone. W-NNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-B-C
  21. Hopefully it improves his Buffalo knowledge. I've found him almost always wrong about inside scoops in the Bills whenever he takes calls on national radio. I forgive him since he hasn't been intricately involved in Buffalo, rather the national media. He has reported the overarching information of the NFL as a whole very well. I was on the journalist page early but never checked back on it. He hasn't had his finger on the pulse of Buffalo for years. So a little surprised by that. Most likely a homer vote, not an accuracy vote. But hell, I'll always root for a Buffalo guy!
  22. I could be wrong, but didn't they struggle I. The beginning of the year with the new unotable receiving corps, but then play really well through the back end?
  23. I have satellite and I learn so much more about football and The Bills then I ever have on wgr. They take a couple calls per day on Buffalo, Ross Tucker and Polian are my favorites. Whenever Carucci comes on I switch.
