  1. While I don't disagree, you do have to take into consideration that a lot of these are self inflicted losses and holes. Do they get credit for being better for limping through with self-inflicted wounds?
  2. I think this is fallacy. At least when healthy. Our starting WR's are KB, Matthews, Zay Jones. It is a decent group, plus Shady and Clay don't hurt. Granted the best ability is availability, but not near the bottom of the league when everybody dresses.
  3. I just assumed he dropped the N-word. Not allowed on the field anymore. He really was not all that close to ref, and wasn't around terribly long. And I don't think something like "kick him the eff out for that **** !@#$" is enough for 15 yards.
  4. Everybody always talks about Gronk being a Neanderthal, not slobbering, putting together sentences, etc. Every time I hear this dude talk, I think he looks absolutely strung out on something. Dude has the craziest look in his eyes.
  5. Agreed on this. I think it’s why we increased size at the WR position. If healthy, it’s not a bad group. Lots of size and huge catch radius. Should be perfect for a dude who is regularly inaccurate.
  6. They also deliver Amazon orders on Sundays. TIL USPS > Buffalo Bills
  7. It is already being toyed with. Joe Webb in the wild cat and just barely missing Cadet on his only pass in god knows how long.
  8. Ugh...my fault. I removed the TT game like Kirby did accidently. Correct.
  9. Depends on how you work with the numbers. From what I am reading/understanding, a teams win percentage for those who throw for over 300 yards in a game is.575. So they win more than they lose obviously. Or win about 57.5% of the time TT is special, and he wins more than he loses when he throws less than 300 yards. He wins 60% of the time when throwing for less than 300 yards. Remember that he is winning games where teams throw for 300 yards. This is also factored into the league average. We can leave it at that, but statistically we have opened up a whole can of worms in terms of other data that needs to be provided, because something else needs to account for this in order for the numbers to tell the full story. Data needs to be able to speak for the whole story or it is closer to anecdotal than statistics. OR.... The Buffalo Bills are .500 when they throw less than 300 yards per game this season. That number is much closer to the mean of .425 league wide when throwing for less than 300.
  10. I agree. Good stop gap guy. It is just sort of frustrating to always be putting absolutely everything on literally the rest of the team. IE, if the D was better. But the OL. New OC.Shady needs more production. the WR. We have literally blamed everybody but the kicker. I don't think it is so much of a crusade against TT, but more people just trying to say. Meh, he is not that good. I think just because one of the above issues is true, does not mean TT is good enough to win you 10-11 games year in and year out. Summary: I don't want him here, but I do not want him gone. We really are in QB purgatory
  11. Just for comparison in yards per game including rushing this season. Tried to mix it up between QB's considered below average, average, above average, and elite. Tyrod- 211 yards Dalton- 220 yards Smith- 282 yards Newton- 260 yards Rodgers- 300 yards (2016- because data is skewed. He left the game early and only a few games this year) Brady - 309 yards Vivck(2011)- 299 yards Should note that rogers rushes for about 12 less yards per game. I like Tyrod's skill set in general, but in the NFL you need to be able to win with your arm first and legs second behind center. The scrambling is awesome for keeping some plays alive, but it cannot ever replace playing QB with your arm first. Unless you are a freak like Mike Vick, that style of play will never ever make up for inadequacies in the skill set to play the position. EDIT: Added Vicks last season as a starter in Philly with 13 games since I mentioned him. If TT rushed for the same amount as Vick per game, in his best season ever (over 1000 YARDS), he would still be at 260. ~40 yards less production per game than Mike Vicks final season as a starter, just perspective.
  12. Meh. We have been incredibly bad at points, but lets not forget the playoff for the WC. Outside of Pitt and NE, the rest are teams in pretty similar spots. KC, SD, TN, BUF, BAL, JAX. All are very beatable teams by just about everybody in the AFC. The gap from top to middle is huge, but everybody else seems to be largely pretty competitive with eachother
  13. This is nit picking, but Kiko for LeSean shouldn’t count as gone. Same as Hughes for Bradham. Point still valid
  14. Yeah, some people are. Without getting too far down the rabbit hole. I am about as progressive as they come, used to work with journeys end. My mom is a campaign manager, my sister works for the DNC and the UN. Im being told I don’t like him because I don’t like his style because of prejudice. It’s reallt catching me off guard. I just don’t engage. I do think there is a faction of people that this is the reality for. I also think that are a group that thinks he’s not a viable long term option in the NFL at the position. Just because you think hes not very very good doesn’t mean it’s racial. 1+1 does not equal 2 here. They can be mutually exclusive What is that side of the story. Legitimately curious.
  15. The entire LB Corp was picked on yesterday. Humber seemed to also have a particularly tough day.
  16. The way I understood it was the Bills basically said renogiate to a contract that is about 50-75% of the value or be cut. I would assume his agent did some sniffing around and said take the renegotiation Label that how you will.
  17. Windows are tight in the NFL. The longer it takes to get there, or heavier the wind up, the more time for the defense has to react. 1/4 second can mean a lot. That said. I noticed Peterman has a big awkward wind up on Sunday. Could be wrong
  18. Right, because elite athletes and pro sports, are just like playing in the semi final of the Monsignor Martin tournament. Is it possible that coaches are responsible for creating a culture where high level athletes have a high level of buy in? Yes they do. It is a huge part of being a successful coach. It isn't all X's and O's or physiology. It is why international sport has both Coach's and Physiologists. Getting your best athletes to show up and perform is 100% part of the job responsibility of a full time, professional coach. Coach control environment.
  19. Out of all of the posts. This one makes me the saddest. Jesus. The holes and lack of depth are magnified because we magnified them ourselves.
  20. This x1000. The bills need a QB. You find your guy this year in the draft and you get him even if Peterman plays lights out. Worst case scenario,: Peterman turns out to be the next Tom Brady and he is our franchise guy. Even if we mortgage the draft to pick somebody we grade higher, then we still have spent 2 1st's and a 5th to get our guy for the next 10-15 years. Well worth the cost.
  21. And whose fault is that? I’m not sure we upgraded the GM position this year.
  22. I saw a ton to worry about in this game. It was embarrassing. Before commuting to taking arsenic, good teams rarely, if ever, drop 2 in a row. If this happens next week, Ill be concerned. We are dropping conference and divisional games. Makes it tough for the AFCE. But the wild card is still very much in play.
  23. The win would be impressive, solely because this is a game this team normally loses the past 17 years. When this team starts to win games they're supposed to regularly, we'll know things are different.
  24. I would say EJ is more like a Mustang with a driver that doesn't know how to drive stick. That's not a knock on coaching. He's nice and shinny, with some horse power. People look at it and think, nice car. Then the dude pulls out stalls twice and drops the transmission on the street.
