  1. Just for reference, that is less than 33% of what the Saints are investing in their OL. And they pay Brees + the 10 mil they carry in dead cap for Brees because of the way his contract is structured. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/positional/offensive-line/
  2. With so much invested into Josh Allen, you have to assume Defillip is high on the Bills list if this were to happen.
  3. I heard the pregame too. Didn't think of it that way. But, I would slightly shift your thought on this. Could this be what McD is already thinking? That he failed already on his first stop, looking forward to his second? That would be a huuuge problem I think. You could make the argument that Bellicheck in Cleveland wasn't a BB issue, but a Cleveland Browns issue.
  4. We’ve gone from Peterman, Allen, Anderson, Barkley. Hea 5th man up. If you count McCarron, 6th. Worst part is, your point is valid and I totally agree with you.
  5. In in two years they’ll be fine. They didn’t trade a bunch of of their starters to move up in the draft. They kept their talent, and gambled on a QB. If Mahommes or Goff don’t pan out, both franchises have very quality rosters from top to bottom. We proactively lost our CB 1, CB 2, MLB, DT 1, LT, WR 1, WR 2, QB 1. All to use all our draft capital to put a guy in a situation, where you now have that many holes, and self created dead cap space, and can’t solve anything. If Allen is a whiff, this franchise is in really really bad shape for 5 years.
  6. I mean we traded Glenn away nearly 3 months after Wood. Dawkins could have kicked inside, with an already weak right side. Richie happened about 3-4 weeks after Glenn. We could have had the plan of lining up Glenn, Dawkins, Bodine, Incognito, Mills. But that’s not what happened at all. Richie, Glenn, Wood, all were off the roster with plenty of time to replace them....but we couldn’t because we created our own cap hell.
  7. The right play is to do what the Rams and KC did. Keep what talent you have on the roster, and give up future draft picks to go get your QB. Not gut gut your team of talent in exchange for a QB and a bad situation.
  8. Fun fact: this is the 4th highest winning percentage, at this point in the season, in league history. In the previous 3 games the winner went to the Super Bowl.
  9. So if NP wins vs. Chicago he’ll have the best winning percentage on the roster? Is is this real life?
  10. Yeah, more of a condemnation on the offense than praise for DA. Right now now our biggest concern (outside of Brady turning it on) is our lack of sustained running game. Shady has to stop going backwards.
  11. I mean 11/19, 139 yards, no picks, no sacks, half way through the 3rd. Dude has been on the roster for 3 weeks and is our starting QB. Right now, that kind of production and lack of turnovers, is making this team much better than it was 2 weeks ago.
  12. Kill them until they’re dead!
  13. Part of me just says eff it. Lets see if the Pats can set a record amd score more points than the infamous 1925 Providence Steamrollers, who ousted the West Point Artillery in a thrilling 125-0 victory.
  14. Yeah, and none of this changes any criticisms that people have of Josh Allen. It’s not a pie. Baker Mayfields mistakes don’t make JA’s forgivable either. Should note, Rosen’s stat line yesterday is pretty close to Allen’s Minnesota game. Mayfields, “terrible day at the office”, was still better than Josh Allen’s Houston, Tennessee, and GB games combined.
  15. It’s really weird there is a thread crapping on all the other QB’s when Allen has thrown the least touchdowns, yards, yards per attempt, yards yer game, completion percentage. Somehow this is a defense of Allen? I don’t get it.
  16. Grab Allen or Rosen. (prefered Rosen and still do) Kept Dareus, Glenn, and Darby. Re-sign Preston Brown. Don't draft Edmunds. Don’t sing Vontae Stay at 21 and Grab Billy Price or Isaiah Wynn for the OL. Don't sign Murphy or Star. Signed Brandon Fusco and maybe kept Sentrel. See if we could make a run at Josh Kline or Evan Smith. Traded for Josh Gordon Done basically anything else at WR. Probably take a run at Teddy B.
  17. His eyes aren’t on the same plane. That’s super effing weird.
  18. I don’t think it’s so much that. I think it’s the broadcast. You couldn’t even hear the ref call the penalty. It’s actually driving me crazy.
  19. Anybody else having issue with the sound? Field is silent. All I hear are the announcers.
  20. On this day QB Derek Anderson and OC Brian Daboll masterfully engineered a 6-3 win over the Buffalo Bills. Going 2-17, for a total of 23 yards. 9 years later they are BOTH on the Bills. I don't even know how that happens...
  21. I have been critical of the regime for sure, Beane in particular, but we’re still in it. Sending Shady away would be a real gut punch.
  22. I am giving you a hard time here man. I actually agree with you. Not a great move/value.
  23. We've had good luck with DB's in the 4th. Cockrell, Johnson is looking good (too early to tell though), McGee, Searcy. Lets not forget Ko "I am worth Millions" Simpson
  24. So releasing Kerley wasn't just a numbers issue?
  25. I would argue that we are worse at nearly every position than what the FO inherited. I am growing skeptical of this FO. Things don’t add up well CURRENTLY. FA acquisitions have been bad, literally nothing is better than when they started. It’s not a passing on Mahomes issue. It’s an overall talent issue. That said, I don’t think this regime is THE WORST. Right now they haven’t done enough to be worse than Marv, Brandon, or TD. They do have some proving to do, because this team is in a bad spot talent wise. We are 3 years from being competitive and 5 from making a run at an AFC championship game or Super Bowl. Also: It really doesn’t help or add to any conversation when you call anybody who questions decisions, a troll. This isn’t reddit or FB, the legitimate troll issue really isn’t that high here.
