  1. WTF. Ed Oliver is 15 yards in coverage?
  2. Lamar Jackson is 7/7 and almost 200 yards passing and 3 TD. Jesus Christ....
  3. Thank are Oliver for that sack. He took on a big double team to free up Jerry.
  4. Can I place my bet on first offensive play of the game now? Frank Gore through the A gap. Setting up 2nd and 7.
  5. Relax dude, it was a little joke. Do I think the Bills coaches are sub-par. Not necessarily. I do think they are a bit unproven to this point, going 9-7, willingly gutting the roster, then going 6-10. I understand what they are doing, just unsure if it will work or was the night decision. McD does have a history here if being conservative with a bit of a run run pass offense, rarely passing on first down. I agree, some of that may come from personnel. But they’ve yet to show that one way or another as McD enters his third season. I have some concerns, but mostly a lot of question marks, and two seasons of watching them in red white and blue. But your assertion that I think they are bad or sub-par is a reach at best, and flat out wrong at worst.
  6. How do they really win games?
  7. They did rank them as they stand right now. There is no better tandem in the NFL than Tom and Bill. I hate it, but it’s the truth. BB proved last year he can make it work when he doesn’t have the tools. Until that pairing changes or shows a major decline, you can’t move them in a preseason ranking.
  8. Until Allen proves he is a consistent passer (not a runner) in this league, our ranking won’t change (nor should it IMO). He had a strong stretch to finish the year. Allen is currently in a “what if” year. If he improves we will be much better. As much as he played better down the stretch, we also only beat a bad Jets team twice, split a bad dolphins team, beat a bad Lions team, and beat a bad Jax team. He was also at the helm for some pretty bad blow outs. Like putting up ZERO points against GB. I think our defense is a bit over rated. I’d probably put them last year around the 8-12 mark. Definitely not 2. We can’t tout Allen’s ability and our highly ranked defense with the amount of absolute blow outs we hadn’t last year. Also our RZ sucked on both sides. Something has to give here. Our O-line is upgraded with Mitch Morse (concussions) and tier two linemen. OL can be funny. That could be enough to make it a very good unit, but could also still be bottom half. John Brown isn’t scarring many people as anything other than fast right now. The have the the Bills at 7-8 wins right now. I’d peg them right around 20 with what our known commodities are and unanswered question marks.
  9. J.E.S.U.S. C.H.R.I.S.T. ??
  10. Allen has yet to really show he’s a QB who gets the ball out quickly or looks for the underneath routes. That doesn’t mean he can’t, it just mean he hasn’t yet. If that’s been the focus all offseason for him, we are about to get a good look at it week one. I don’t know why, but I am having nightmares this week of a Doug Marrone offense/game plan, where we play a stout front 7 (like the Jets), and come out with a game plan to run right at it, like a bunch of a-holes.
  11. Sam Darnold is better at throwing the football accurately, or precisely, or whatever we’ve agreed to call it now.
  12. Whoops. I saw them on Spotrac and didn't see the ERFA designation. I will remove.
  13. That number will dip a bit with resigning some of our own. If all these guys play lights out in their contract year (2020), we could be down to about $60M. Extending a few keys guys a year early could drop us down to $30-40M. Still a ton of coin for FA. We need some help at OLB and Edge Rusher. Probably extend: Forgot they are on rookie deals and cannot be extended yet Robert Foster Levi Wallace Wait and see how the year goes: Kevin Johnson Shaq Lawson Quinton Spain Jordan Phillips Spencer Long (There is a club option for 2020) Possibly extend early: Matt Barkley Tre White Ty Nseke Trent Murphy Jordan Poyer Zay Jones Dion Dawkins Matt Milano John Feliciano
  14. Kneeling during the anthem was never intended to be disrespectful. In fact it was a vet that suggested it to Kaep himself. Do you find Retired Army Green Beret Nate Boyer disrespectful as well? History treated Jesse Owens just fine, and it will do the same to Kaep.
  15. I don’t mind that he retired. I respect it, and even admire it from a 30 year old. But week 3 of preseason as a high level franchise QB....he could have made this decision 6 months ago, or waited 4 months. Some people will lose their job because of this timing. Not totally fair
  16. On a similar note. I looked at getting the Sunday Ticket streaming service. But was declined because of my region, I guess... I just moved to Saratoga Springs, currently cutting the chord. Anybody have options for getting an HD feed for Bills games. I really don't want to watch a crappy grainy feed every week, or drop 50 bucks a Sunday having a few pops and a snack. Cheers.
  17. Every year TC happens, and every year I wish Astro was here. (And every year I forget why he left...??‍♂️)
  18. What about a 19 game season and you play your division 3 times. Winner of best of 3 from the year prior gets the extra home game.
  19. Yeah that’s what I said...Jesus... Velocity wasn’t measured at the combine until 2008. Even that is testing 20-23 year old kids/young men. Who will inevitably improve in strength and speed over the course of the next 5+ years of their lives. One, because of body maturation. Two, access to, and full time training with NFL coaching staffs. You are assuming that after the combine arm strength/velocity can only go down. They aren’t pitchers and don’t throw nearly the same number of fast balls or torque their elbows as often. Because of that, I would assume an NFL QB could see an increase in velocity until their late 20’s to early 30’s. For all we know Brady’s arm is on the decline, and 5 years ago he was chucking 65mph. Inversely, Josh Allen or Mahomes might be singing it at 70mph in the next 3 years. It is not a widely tracked stat over the course of a QB’s career, and we don’t have a baseline for Brady from day one. It’s a silly speculation because you hate the guy. If JA is throwing at 65mph 15 years from now, I am sure it will be because he’s tough as nails and a leader of men...
  20. I don’t really get the PED stuff when people accuse Brady. He doesn’t run faster. Isn’t increasing aerobically. Not adding mass. Not leaning out. Honestly, football is largely a game of genetic freaks with an emphasis on anaerobic skill. Which is largely born and not “trained” the same way an aerobic base is. Brady isn’t really showing signs of PED other than being better with body maintenance and diet.
  21. Thank you! The anger shouldn't be directed at Kaep necessarily. Why is there so little outrage that white supremacists and nationalists are using the OG American flag to replace the confederate flag. I am not sure I am with Kaep on this one, but this is a valid concern. I just think he is ahead of the curve on this issue actually. As the confederate flag is being phased out amongst the under class (yes, underclass, if you are a racist, you belong there), they have learned to adopt the Betsy Ross flag. While it has yet to catch on (give it 150 years) like the confederate flag, it is happening.
  22. Ok. Well he made less "aggressive" throws with less production than Driskel, Winston, Eli, Darnold, Trubisy, Dak, Flacco, Lamar Jackson, Keenum, Beathard, Foles, Watson, Fitz, Andy Dalton, Baker Mayfield. Deshaun Watson.
  23. With significantly less production
