  1. For all my complaining about calls on Saturday, Ford got away with a TON of holding. He was grabbing Watt outside the numbers/shoulders and tossing him around a ton.
  2. I didn't pay for the All-22 this year. That Brown throw was do-able but needed to be thrown right when he made his cut. Looked like there was somebody, maybe Duke running a deep post route down the left side 1v1. Just rewatching on twitter videos, I would have actually preferred he took off there and tried to pick it up on his own. Other than that, I totally agree with you. Choosing that personnel grouping at that point in the game is the most infuriating part of it all.
  3. Can we talk about how people are arguing that our fullback should have better timed his jump ball 50 yards down field.... Holy poop fest Batman. Of course your fullback blows at jump balls down field. It’s Dimarcos job to be a bowling ball. It’s like being mad as Shaq for missing a 3 at the buzzer or Muggsy Bogges not getting a rebound on a free throw. You try not of to put those guys in those positions during important moments of important games. When the game is on the line you feed your playmakers strengths not your role players weaknesses. It’s on Daboll AND Allen for different reasons.
  4. I have actually been looking for that play on youtube to try and confirm the personnel out there. Unless Knox, Kroft, Sweeney, Smith, Duke Williams, Cole Beasley, John Brown, Isaiah Mckenzie, Devin Singletary, and Frank Gore are on the field AND are all blanketed, I honestly see ZERO reason to have Dimarco running that route in that situation and to even THROW to him into DOUBLE COVERAGE at maybe the most crucial part of the game. The decision to BOTH call and execute that throw is unfathomable to me. I guess I like caps locks today...
  5. That was a great throw, and a great effort for a very difficult catch. I don't blame anybody for not finishing that play.
  6. Honest question, would DK have prevented us from: 1. Calling a 50 yard seam route to our FB on 3rd down? 2. Throwing a 50-50 ball to your FB into double coverage on 3rd down? I don't mean that as snarky. Until we can both stop calling and throwing those plays in crucial situations, nothing personnel takes a back seat. That is a play calling AND decision making error first. Situational awareness is at about a zero from both the QB and OC in that moment and 100 other moments like it over the course of the season.
  7. I was angry Saturday, that has cooled down to curiou today, at why the hell Tre was playing so far off Hopkins in the 2nd half. Was that the play call from Frazier/McD or was that Tre being overly cautious.
  8. I don't think it was a slight. I was pointing out the called back TD was in part due to a mistake by the ref. They overturned the result because of it. I pointed out an additional mistake by the ref that we had to live with. I don't think the ref's were slighting the Bills by any means.
  9. Definitely a mistake by the ref. Later in the game we were punting and the ref wouldn’t move out of the way of somebody trying to pin the ball down at the one. Ref didn’t move and it ended up being a touchback. Just because the ref screwed up doesn’t mean we got to undo to touchback.
  10. He has some. There is no heir apparent and they pick in the low 20’s. I probably pony up for one more year if I am the Pats, and do whatever it takes to get near the top of the draft this year.
  11. There wasn’t a jail break when he threw to his FB into double coverage. There was no jail break when he tried that head scratcher of a lateral. Josh is unpredictable currently. Unpredictably good and unpredictably bad at times. At some point he will become predictable and he’ll either be our franchise QB or he’ll be out of the league.
  12. Or maybe, if you’re only TD is on a gimmicky play where your QB ended up catching a pass rather than throwing it, your QB didn’t have a great day chucking the football around...
  13. 1st half JA almost won the game. 2nd half Josh might have lost the game. JJ watt wasn’t a game changer, but his moments were timely. Murphy and Hughes played great. Tre had a pretty bad second half. Some of that is magnified because Watson barely looked his way in the first half. The biggest loss was O’Brien vs McD at the half. We lost the second half because of coaching.
  14. I don’t disagree but there was a 3rd down call where Ford grabbed Watt well outside the numbers, got flipped around, and threw JJ to the ground. No call.
  15. I generally use one of two Bills long sleeve T’s. Today I took my flag down from outside and wore it on my AM run around Saratoga today.
  16. Aye, bands back together again. love it
  17. I thought they pulled the trigger too soon on Pettine in Cleveland. They were a dumpster before he showed up. They got better under him.
  18. 100% He is on a very short list of current NFL athletes that wouldn't put me in the hospital. Not even that, I think I probably have a 75% shot at winning.
  19. His completion percentage is about the same as his college average and the college game is full of easy throws. Daboll has been frustrating, yes, but Allen isn't exaclty performing "out of character" either.
  20. Yeah that goes for just about everything we do during our day. Sometimes our actions don’t have our desired outcome. But that doesn’t mean that our football team isn’t worthy of criticism when they decided to play their starters for two series in order to “keep them sharp” and they came out looking like poop.
  21. They looked terrible as an offensive unit. If they looked ready sharp or at least the depth of the squad looked like they knew what they were doing, that would have been great. Also, to echo what others have asked all year, Why the eff isn’t Yeldon used more on game day?
  22. I thought it should have been ruling on the field. Wasn’t enough either way IMO.
  23. I wouldn't say vultures or snipes. Rather Allen leads a team in scoring that doesn't score enough points. We rank 19th in Rushing TD's and 18th in Passing TD's. We need to do better at scoring TD's both through the air and on the ground. A lot of that needs to come from better play from Allen, especially with his arm.
  24. Hey f we were to really flip the script, based on how hot and cold Allen can be. We would have a BAL or KC powered offense, with a similar defense to our Pettine led D’s. Can’t get off the field, high TO and sack rate. That said, that is probably the type of D you want with a high scoring offense.
  25. Agreed. Especially if you have guys like Oliver and Phillips pretty heavy in your rotation. Having an upgrade at MLB in run support allows two penetrating DTs on the field together more often.
