  1. Make the playoffs and win a game is my bare minimum. Half the battle in making the Super Bowl is a team getting hot at the right time. This isn't a best of 7 sport. You only need a couple of good bounces in a row to make things happen.
  2. Everybody knows what it means. It is intentionally arrogant and condescending. You likely already know that though.
  3. Wonder if he'll go the Edelman route and get a place near Josh in the offseason.
  4. Mahomes is signed through 2031/37 years old. How is "should he be adjusted" lol. @GunnerBill eluded to it here as well, but Allen will be amongst the highest cap hits in the league going forward, he still has one of the top 5 richest overall deals in the league right now, and is very high on the list in cash. The Bills and Allen seem to be operating at a reasonably fair value for both parties at the moment. Allen has some big cap numbers coming up, I thought he might be an extension candidate this year to start to kick that number down the road a bit further. But otherwise his pay is fine reasonably fair for everybody. We will see what happens with the cap, but I think the QB number will start to come down in the next couple years. I think the league will feel a little snakebitten by Russ, Watson, etc. and I am not sure Philly or LAC will feel like they are getting value from Hurts/Herbert. Not that they will start paying guys $30M AAV rather they will stabilize relative to to cap%.
  5. I would like to see the terms of this. My quick knee jerk is that this likely gets Kelce some more money but also helps with the Chiefs cap situation long term. I suspect there might be some void years in there as well.
  6. What is strictly? Like he takes 1 snap outside and suddenly you are a soothsayer? Almost no WR on any team in the NFL "strictly" just plays inside or outside. Curtis played nearly 70% of snaps from the slot last year. He also had similar usage under our OC Joe Brady when they were both in Carolina. Even guys who are pure slot receivers like Isaiah Mckenzie still have seasons where they spend 40%+ of snaps on the outside.
  7. I agree with you. The alternating upper and lowercase means I’m making fun of those people/sarcasm.
  8. bUt WhAt AbOuT tHe BeNgAlS?
  9. No they don’t. Deebo and Curtis aren’t similar receivers. It feels like last week one guy said that on here and now it just keeps getting repeated. Curtis Samuel has very little ability to play outside. He doesn’t have the size or strength to be effective there with any regularity.
  10. For anybody who hasn’t seen it it is both hilarious and wonderful. What a great kid. Would have been great to have both him and Tre in the locker room together.
  11. I know Ralph is from Detroit, but it kinda stung to see his niece announce Detroit's 4th with a "Go Lions" with his name on the screen. She also worked for the Bills for like 20 years.
  12. I have been bopping around the house with some projects. I haven't heard the cost of moving up. Next years 3rds? That is some Madden return. It has been forever, but I used to do that. I once maxed out at like 12 first round picks. But seriously, if we can get a 3rd for 128 I wouldn't hesitate. Especially with 141 right there.
  13. Of all the predictions and picks so far for the Bills, the thing I most surprised by is that we are at pick 123 and the Bills have not packaged any picks to move up in the 4th yet.
  14. The classic topic that could have been a comment.
  15. Just in general I don’t get draft hype. Like I’m just going to watch somebody read a list….very slowly. I watch at home, but sitting on my couch is a lot different.
  16. I think they’re trying to fix the broken brains. Guardian helmets in Pop Warner and HS are starting to become a lot more popular. This is likely just sort of getting ahead of it. I suspect NCAA programs will also start soon
  17. Right? Not to mention Dan Morgan, President of Football Ops in Carolina played for Carolina while Beane was President of Football Ops and worked under Beane before going back to Carolina. Of all the scenarios, Legette “sneaking” to Carolina after it was telegraphed all week and Beane’s relationship with Dan Morgan wasn’t one of them. And to base it all off of “my buddy guessed the first two picks so it must be right.”? Bahaha.
  18. That was my take but he’s still around and we have a bunch of draft capital still.
  19. 20? Holy shirt, the dude is older than Tremaine Edmunds!
  20. Specifically on the outside. If Franklin is there I think you take him. Getting two big jump ball guys on the outside should let everybody feast underneath.
  21. I think their coverage reviews got so big so quickly they feel this pressure to be constantly pushing out content. Their content was so "information" based as in just breaking down the general responsibilities of certain coverages and basic reads that when they give an opinion or thought it has this weight of "reporting". Which leads to this "well Cover 1 says..." but they don't have the knowledge or inside line to support that kind of regular content creation.
  22. Samuel is a slot receiver, an inch shorter and 20 lbs lighter. Deebo is 6' 215 lbs who only takes like 17% of his snaps inside. For reference Diggs took 30% of his snaps from the slot and Curtis took nearly 70% from the slot position. They aren't even close to the same receiver.
