  1. I am critical of Allen a lot, but we got more out of him tonight than anybody should expect of him. He deserves the ‘Cool Running’s’ slow clap for sure. He was phenomenal.
  2. When I look at the fame at a 1000 foot view it came down to some bunch of major individual mishaps like Klein in coverage, Diggs drops, defensive 4th stringers not holding up. But Bass is also one of those individual gaffes. And given his tenure I expect him to make a 44 yarder. At least give those guys on defense a chance. It isn’t right to blame Bass. But it’s not right to look over him either.
  3. This one hurts…as bad as any….on a field goal. I have been critical of Josh, but he was as lights out and perfect as I ever could have hoped for. A bunch of WR let him down with absolute dimes. I kinda sorta hated the fake punt, but honestly I get it. The defense was all back ups and bumps/bruises were catching up. Martin struggled. BUT. What I hated was putting that play in the hands of Damar Hamlin. If you’re going for it you put Josh Allen on the field. Let him win or lose that down. Heart breaker amongst a long list of heart breakers.
  4. Cool. Go to your neuro and tell them you got a concussion today then ask if it’s cool if you get tackled by Ray Lewis at full speed next week. 100 out of 100 times they will say no. Concussion protocol only exists to save the NFL’s ash not because its sound medical advice.
  5. Cool. Im not a neuro, but I have one at the Cleveland Clinic and another at Mount Sinai, and both have said that the NFL concussion protocol isn’t what they would practice at either hospital.
  6. Playoff timelines are different than regular season. This is the most important home game this team has played in 30 years. This team played Beasley on a broken leg. They’ll let anybody go who gets doctors clearance for this one.
  7. Guys in host of other sports have missed 365 + days for a single concussion. The league has zero players with roster sizes 2x-3x. Take your kid to Dent neuro or the Cleveland clinic the day after their 5th concussion and see if they clear them to play sports 6 days later. They won’t do it.
  8. Dorsey was part of building this thing. By all counts he’s a good X’s and O’s coach and a smart guy. But he seems to lack in his feel for play calling. If he can get better at that then he’s a good get for somebody. I have no ill will for the guy. Good luck out there Ken.
  9. That’s remarkable. From a pure fandom perspective I’m glad he is a go. From a human perspective, this is this guys 5th concussion of his career and he can play in 6 days? Nobody in the NFL gives a shirt about player health or safety, and the independent neuro’s must be on the take.
  10. I hope it’s an inside job and one of the security guards jumps in. The pit gets what the pit wants.
  11. And it’s his 5th one in his career. Dude is scrambled eggs. That said, I think he’ll play.
  12. And their defense was punching Houston in the mouth. I came away from that game that Baltimore is the best team in the playoffs right now. Overall Lamar was lights out. I think if we can get through KC and get healthy, Baltimore v Buffalo is easily the best two teams in the playoffs right now. Either team smacks around Detroit or San Fran.
  13. This is the same woman who was all over social media because one local Bills shop “ripped off” her Bills inspired fur jacket. But if you go on her Etsy page it’s loaded with knocked off “zubaz inspired” (insert product). Zubaz are certainly trademarked. Funny video, but what a wildly disconnected human.
  14. That’s clear DPI. But also, it feels like the new move on 3rd and long it to under throw it and get the automatic DPI. I hate it. This one is a terrible example of it. But in general I don’t think a defender needs to allow a receiver to come back to the ball as much as it seems they’re required to.
  15. But honestly, who is doing it? Like somebody has to.
  16. I 99% stay out. I find it bad luck. occasionally I hop in to get some takes on what deem a questionable call.
  17. God, how awesome would it be if first play of the game he lines up Offside again. Honestly, based on how their RT plays, I wouldn’t be shocked if they test Hocculi and dare him to flag it early.
  18. 2004 called, they said STFU this is fashion now.
  19. Swifties and Goose fans seem super similar. Like you’re not allowed to just be like “yeah, this is pretty good, but I like Umphreys McGee better”. It is always met with like “How dare you like Lady Gaga more. Swift is the greatest thing to happen to the planet since Jesus Christ”. Or…. ”How can you like that drivel. I wish the band would break up and never play again”.
  20. It was a success in that 21M people watched the game. But it was the best matchup of the weekend, at least on paper. It was the primetime game and was by far the lowest viewed game. I was shocked how many people didn’t actually subscribe for it.
  21. Sometimes I wish they’d be more direct about it because it seems like the fans wait too long to get loud. “We need to make it tough on Mahomes and company from pre-huddle to post snap. Missing the play call matters as much as protections, snap count, and audibles. And if my boy Josh is on the field, let’s try and hear a pin drop in here”. For such a great fan base sometimes I find us weirdly loud on offense. Manning had that Indy crowd trained well. Quietest stadium ever when they had the ball. Christ, more blood on @boyst hands. We got a real OJ Simpson here on the boards.
  22. Martin was named AFC player of the month for the last 4 weeks of the season. He’s been very good for us as of late. I don’t think Fournette will be the tipping point this week.
  23. The vibe I get from people smarter than me is that Klein is a good downhill player with very good instincts. However struggles with some explosiveness, lateral movement, and in coverage. And that Williams is good athlete, and good LB, but struggles some with instincts and play recognition. All that to say, these guys skill sets can compliment each other well if they can find a groove/partnership early and figure out how to move with each other. But if they don’t they could find themselves taken advantage of early and often.
