To your point on Edmunds. In addition to defense across the league being pretty bad, I think Edmunds is getting picked on a bit. I have not spent a ton of time with the all-22 this year, so maybe somebody smarter than me can confirm. But it looks like Edmunds is hesitant to diagnose, and gets some safety help incase he misses a step, which leaves the CB's playing a bit off to save the big play. That said, when Edmunds is quick and correct to read the play, he is a good fit. He is just too hesitant too often. I would not be opposed to trying to get another MLB in there next year and moving Edmunds outside where he can just play big and fast.

Dude, I was thinking that yesterday. He has surpassed rotund and possibly surpassed portly.

I loved it, it was also ballsy. Raiders swallowed that up early in the game if I remember correctly.

I have not disagreed much with you this year on these this year but to me this game was too many flashes of old Josh. I think you are a bit too high here. He almost had a couple of plays where he was had they gone a little differently they could have been on the "not top 10" this am. Imagine he fumbles on that hand off to Singletary, that 3rd down sack a few minutes prior becomes a laughable play as well. We got lucky there, big time. I am most concerned this week at his ball placement and how long he is holding onto the ball. I would love to see them both get back to where they were 2 weeks ago. So far after 4 games, Allen's big offseason issue needs to be processing the field quicker. Or at least getting rid of the ball sooner. We don't see him often get the top of his drop and release. Otherwise I am thrilled with him so far this season. Raiders game gets a B from me.

I think they were just on the outside of taking a knee at the end of the game. They needed a first down to ensure taking would get them to the end of the game. After the timeout there was 1:34 on the clock. You can't run the clock out on 4th down because it is change of possession. Once they got the first down, they took a knee.

Allen had just come out of the locker room after coming off the field with a shoulder injury. I am pretty confident in saying that Josh's shoulder was a HUGE reason why they didn't try there.

I said something similar in an earlier post. I agree. They also shouldn’t replay games with no implication on playoff seeding against actual playoff teams. Now if a win guarantees playoff home field advantage, if it is the difference between making and not making the playoffs, or if it is the difference between picking 1st and 4th in the draft, go for it. Otherwise order those teams in the draft by win %.

At this point for a situation like the Titans, I think the opponent should have a commanding seat at the table when they talk about options for this. If the Bills feel uncomfortable going into Tenn. then the league shouldn’t try and force a game. If it can work for a week 18, then it works. If it can’t, then it is an L/W for each team. I would argue that the opposing team (Bills) should also be allowed to have some say in decision making when it comes to the way the Raiders have managed the situation. The organization is an absolute disaster waiting to happen to the entire league. If a team is uncomfortable going into their stadium after the way they have handled this, then that’s on the Raiders, not the opponent. McBeane and the Bills adding a full time bus driver that travels with the team sounds like it could or should be on the horizon.

Albany Bills Fans, we need some help

I will second this. Even at sporting goods stores like *****, they are loaded with Giants, Jets, Pats gear, and have zero Bills gear. I even have a couple Cowboys flags in my neighborhood. It’s sort of wild. Just sort of thinking about it while I put it in writing. Feels like an untapped market for the Bills. SJF has been awesome for us, but it might make some sense to move camp up to the capital region. U Albany, Skidmore, whatever. The region has a million + people. Not sure I love the idea, but it’s not the worst one I have ever come up with. -
I will bow out after this don’t want to derail and stay football specific. But this isn’t uncommon for any test for any illness. Even strep throat won’t test positive the same for everybody. HIV is an extreme example, which we have been testing for for decades. It takes a MINIMUM of 30 days or so to get a positive result for HIV. Even then, if you can push that time frame out an extra week or two, the better the test becomes. Just trying to provide color for other relatively common place tests.

At some point you have to start either dropping games or forfeiting. So far the Titans are OK, drop Pittsburgh, flip their bye, play during the new Pitt bye. Bills, sounds like we would probably get a double bye (right before Mahomes!) and we can tack a game on at the end of the year. But one more game and TEN will either have to start forfeiting or playing less than 16 games. It depends on the scenario, but if the games in a "week 18" are truly meaningless in standings, draft picks, playoffs, etc. Just skip them. Why have a playoff bound Bills team go up against a Tenn team for no reason.

I’m shocked the league has not stepped in. Maybe it is a looming Gruden suspension given the issue with number of people in the facility, the fine, then basically mocking the league fining him to wear a mask. The Raiders could single hand-idly derail the entire season. Then what? Eff those guys.

1 and 2. I would keep all those as rules, then a standard rubric within each one (or general) and points are given out 1-5 for severity of language, behavior, etc. I don't see what you guys do as mods, but I would hope that a quick note or reply in a thread is enough to get people to cut their schitts creek when it comes to most "violations". Any act further is a slap in the face. 3. I do not think that anybody should ever be banned without access to view the page. Or the circumstance would have to be incredibly severe, like calling somebody the N-word or praising the KKK. Something wild that we never see on the board. 4. Just like anything else, points should expire. I wouldn't treat it like getting a DUI and never being allowed to teach again. 5. There should be an appeals process. Probably something formally submitted by the poster, reviewed by all the mods, voted on. In the event of a tie you, SDS, are the tie breaker as our own boss man. Thanks for all the hard work!

I am glad I got the ticket this year, what a bummer. I was surprised last week when we didn't beat out Giants v. 49ers given the injuries and how bad the Giants are. Cam/BB vs. Mahomes/Reid at least seems like it should be a great game. I will have Buffalo up on the projector in the backyard though. -
Lamar has a total of 4 regular season losses. 3 of them are to Mahomes. Maybe we calm down a bit.

Raiders Players attend gala without masks

Plus Gruden was fined AND they are under league investigation for violating additional Covid protocol. -
Part of the issue is incubation period. We aren't 100% positive on it yet, but some people test positive as early as 3 days others as late as 14. I get the league and teams want to play, but if the Titans test positive, there is a chance that there are players on the vikings that don't test positive for up to two weeks. I think playing is a bad idea if you are trying to power through the season
