  1. Weird flex given I was the comment directly above this one. And yes the Bills had a low point differential early in the season and it was a concern. It’s no longer a concern.
  2. Wayy better. I was thinking about this last night after the game. This team is playing light out!!
  3. On one hand, I am like, "Boy that is nice, they deserve all the credit in the world!" On the other hand I am thinking "Are they just bringing in 20k healthcare workers, and those are the only fans allowed? Or are they flying like 100 of them out, and then still filling up the stands with 20,000 other people. Because if they wanted to show the most respect and gratitude for the work healthcare workers have put in, a good place to start is to probably not filling a stadium in Florida with 20,000 random ticket purchasers and not potentially putting additional strain on the healthcare system."
  4. I cried when they ended the drought. I won’t cry when they win the east. I might cry if they win the AFC. I will I’ll most certainly cry if they win the SB.
  5. Not so fun fact: The Bills are 0-2 when Josh scores a receiving TD.
  6. Not an arrested development fan? I read this in Ron Howards voice.
  7. Whatabout-isms at their finest! What about Chicago? What about radio guys elsewhere? Come on.... Its not being brought up because it’s not the topic. The topic was Allen’s ascension this season, not Bakers, etc. And those fan bases didn’t make national news for treating Kaep the worst in the league. They also haven’t been on national news lately with a racist business owner telling their customers that they were filthy, third world, pieces of poo in the last few weeks. Guys, it’s not that hard to see how somebody could get to a spot where they think Buffalo is an inherently racist region. That’s it. Simple as that. So maybe instead of throwing out a million whataboutisms to deflect to other cities that aren’t a point of discussion, either of you just say, “those people suck, and it’s a shame that our fan base has a-holes on the internet (and in our community) that makes some people have a tough time rooting for us. They take away from some of the great things this region is capable of” The deflection here is the most disingenuous part of this conversation. Aaron Rodgers, Cleveland, it doesn’t matter.
  8. I don’t get this. I am a fan of Josh. He’s proven my last two years of criticism wrong. I don’t consider myself racist. I don’t consider all Josh Allen fans racist. But the view of Buffalo as a region (not just a fan base) from the outside can be understandably racist. These aren’t feelings these are actual facts: -Thousands of Bills fans showed up to a game with Kaeps face in cross hairs because they didn’t like his politics regarding POC. It’s a thing that happened and not really debatable. It is relevant here because it’s largely how Foxworth is viewing the fan base with his comments. -Robby Dinero has been called “Racist Robby” by other owners, S&C coaches, etc. around Buffalo for almost a decade now. It’s not a feeling. Its true. He’s the latest reason Buffalo made national news. Recency co-signs past behavior with current news about the city. -Buffalo is one of the most segregated cities in the country. That’s not a feeling. Literally true. Depending on source it is the 10-20 range. The point is, it’s not a far leap for somebody to look at Buffalo along with their interactions with some of those fans on Twitter, and think Buffalo has a real issue with POC.
  9. Without actually taking a dive into Kaeps politics, thousands of people showed up to a game with his face in crosshairs... Now local Fox News star Robby Dinero has been called Racist Robby for nearly a decade in fitness circles for nearly a decade. A screen shot of his email was not a surprise to me or anybody else who has known him. Granted that’s one guy, but he’s made national news. Buffalo is one of the most segregated cities in the nation and has been for generations. So when you say “whose to say...” The behavior of Buffalo towards race as a region isn’t spectacular. It’s not outlandish to say Buffalo has a lot of people who aren’t friendly to POC and those people using social media to prop up Josh make it hard to root for him. Edit: I agree with @C.Biscuit97, Foxworth did a bad job of making his point. If he just came out and said there are too many proud boys tweeting about Josh, it makes it tough for me to root for him. We’d be having a much different discussion. But he got much too cute about it. I doubt the dude hates dogs.
  10. Keeping the cap at $175M would be an unnecessarily terrible decision that would haunt the league for years. The TV contract alone clears the cap by about ~$50M. There is minimal to zero need to not keep a flat cap in 2021 with a MAJOR bounce back in 2022.
  11. Also, for the Bills to play Cleveland in the WC, a lot needs to happen. Weird flex for in improbably situation. Buffalo is likely to finish as the 2 or 3 seed. We would basically have to drop the rest of the season AND have a bunch of other stuff happen to finish 4th or worse. Cleveland seems similarly locked in at 5th. Miami wins out. Buffalo drops to Miami (obviously above) Indy to lose to Pitt Cleveland to lose to Pitt Ten to lose to GB A lot of that is possible, but it is a lot of dominoes that need to fall properly for that to happen. The more dominoes the less likely. What a weird flex at the end re: Baker.
  12. I had never heard of Nick Wright until a few weeks/months ago. But it seems like this dude just gets paid to react to other peoples hot takes. He brings nothing to the table.
  13. Just get me the division first. I will think about the rest after that.
  14. I think we get a heavy dose of Beasley against Denver. He could against Miami as well, but it depends on how meaningful that game is to us. Right now he is on pace for about 87 receptions. But his targets are way up on the back half of the season. EDIT: First 8 games- 6 targets per game. Last 5 games 8 targets per game. I think he gets 10-12 targets against the Denver D. (Now that I said that, he probably sprains his ankle lacing his cleats pregame and has 1 catch for zero yards and a fumble.)
  15. I think there are a few tiers: Tier 1: Locks Allen- He has been too good this year not to. Diggs- Perennially on the list Tier 2: Should be in, but 50/50 if they actually make it Tre- If a first team All-Pro season didn't do it in 2019, I am not sure that a 2020 season that took some games for the defense to take form will. He is becoming a household name across the league now. We will see. Poyer- Having an All-Pro type season this year. Unsure he will get the recognition. Tier 3: Fringe Beasley- Maybe the best slot receiver in the league. Do they make room for his position even though he is not a #1? It has happened in the past. Dawkins- Playing good ball. Lack of run game in Buffalo may keep him out
  16. Agreed, there is something different about the way this team is playing football recently. Love it!
  17. Right, I get it. Welker and Edelman also made it a bunch too. I would put this season from Beasley up against any Edelman season.
  18. I think he has a better shot than you think. He might be the best slot receiver in the league, that might sneak him in.
  19. Just looking at some SOS and SOV stuff. The Browns so far have the 2nd easiest schedule in the league. I didn't get the hype after watching them Monday. The Ravens though, they have played the hardest schedule in the league to date. Their opponents win% is 60% which is pretty wild.
  20. Haha. I actually work in this industry. That’s an LED wall. That is .8 mm, some companies get down to .6 now. I thought the OP was talking actual TV’s, like open the box and put it on a table or mount it.
  21. He is absolutely right. In general you want to either give enough to time travel and recover or you want to travel and hit the ground running. Getting stuck in a grey area is not good. It takes a couple of weeks to adapt to elevation change. And it isn’t just actual work. It will effect sleep and recovery. Even an extra walk through will be more taxing than normal So do everything you can to maximize rest and recovery at home. Show up as fresh as you can be. They probably have a hand full of physiologists who worst with their S&C coaches to work on scheduling, periodization, movement training, traveling, etc.
  22. I am not sure he has. When available he has proven to be a player....But he only has one season of hitting his snap % goal. We have proven that we can run that LB2 position by committee while he averages part time snaps over the last few years. If he had a healthy season this year he probably gets $15M next year from somebody to be an every down back. I don't know what he gets now in all honesty.
  23. It isn't losing on purpose, it is taking a look at your fringe players before the season ends so they can see more than a couple snaps a game. You know, like starting Stidham last minute to get some more live action to see how he does under pressure. And if Billy B. thinks TL is as good as you do, then that move makes double sense with the opportunity to keep him out of the division. If Trevor is going to be as talented as you say, the last thing I would want is this version of Josh Allen AND the next Peyton Manning 4 times per year.
  24. This actually looks like it could be fun. Superimposed slime in endzones, googlie eyes on replays. https://twitter.com/sbjsbd/status/1338856688284094466?s=20
  25. A guy I work with has been scared for weeks that NE is going to toss the Jets game week 17. He said that the Jags would win/lose the tie breaker and take the first overall pick in the draft. Unsure if he is right on that, he is a Jets fan after all.
