I took off this upcoming Monday and SB Monday 2 months ago just in case.

Mahomes will play. Remember Tom Savage basically had a seizure on the field...in front of a ref...then came back into the game before being pulled... That is the NFL concussion protocol at work. Also, guys like Tim Connolly or Sydney Crosby miss months and months at a time with concussions. Has there ever been an NFL player who have missed 2 months of play due to concussion? It is performative. Or at best it is like going to the ER with chest pains. Run a bunch of tests, tell you to go home, rest, get with your GP,see a specialist, and you are not in any immediate danger of dying. But that isn't a clean bill of health by any stretch.

Just checked, this is actually the first time that the Ravens are not the favorite all season long. They have been on a 17 game run until now.

I agree here. But I’ll add on. Beasley was clearly hobbled against Indy. I’m glad he was able to go, but if he isn’t working, we have to open to trying to give some of his touches to McK who is a serviceable replacement.

In the little I’ve watched if the Ravens this year, just a couple of games, I am less concerned with the run v. the pass and more concerned with where they get their yards. If the Bills can be stingy between the hash marks, I think Lamar has some difficulty throwing outside the numbers. He’s going to get his yards, you sort of have to concede that. But outside the hash seems like a weak spot. Just the eye test. I have nothing to back that up.

Quick, somebody sign Rex Grossman! He has had the playbook for like a day. Maybe we don't rush the dude out there to protect JA against a blitz happy Baltimore team. Could he be productive? Maybe, maybe not. Is he an upgrade? We are all just guessing really. But the odds are not in his favor given his downward trend, age, and length of time with the playbook he would be running. This! I think if we are in a position where Freeman is seeing significant carries we are in a bad place.

This is wild. It was reported days ago that Detroit was impressed with Marvin Lewis and Bieniemy wanted nothing to do with Houston. Today it was reported that Saleh is the front runner for the NYJ. Looks like this one is waaaay off so far. The Bieniemy take especially throws me for a loop here.

I would have to take a deeper dive into who sits, but I would not be shocked if Yeldon AND Williams dress. This staff seems to hate Yeldon for whatever reason. With Moss out, I would not be surprised if they want a couple options to rotate in and out of the line up to see what works on game day.

This. Does he have the cannon that Allen has, or the ability to see a defense like Brady or Manning? No absolutely not. But he is more explosive than agile than Vick and is a good enough passer that you have to keep respecting it. He'll never pick you apart like Ryan or Rodgers, but he doesn't have to. People act like he is Tim Tebow with the way he can throw the ball. He is a much better passer than that. His biggest thorn if you are a defense is that he is so non-traditional, that nobody is built to stop it on a consistent basis. Who knows if it is sustainable long term. But it is good enough right now to make Baltimore a dangerous team.

Meh, perfect blue print to put up points, but ultimately the Bills went into the half with the lead after not starting a single drive outside their own 10 yard line. I trust this team in a shoot out. The only reason this game was so close was because of the field position in the first half. The defense is a major concern.

This is where I am at. Josh without a doubt deserves the most money in the group. But unsure if that is where the dust settles. I think Baker chases and demands the top deal. I don't get the sense that that is in Josh's ethos, to chase the largest deal possible that is. If we offer it, I am sure he signs the dotted line.

Meh, we are Debbie downers when the team plays poorly, and SB champs when they play well. Doesn’t matter if it’s a 6-10 season or the divisional round in the playoffs.

Between McKenzie vs. Miami and then Robert’s really doing a bad job on both returning and deciding when to bring it out, I am not sure what exactly we gain by reserving that KR/PR spot heading into next season. McKenzie has at least proven to have more tools in the tool box and fills in comparably to Robert’s.

No class there from Baltimore. A small part of me hopes they have to come into the Ralph and we can put them in their place. Celebrations are cool. But come on man. Remember when Randy Moss pretending to moon the fans was the worst thing happening in the NFL?
