  1. I think Dawkins, Feliciano, Morse, and Williams are all better at what they do than what Singletary does as RB1. Could we get better at OG specifically, 100%, but if I have to do one before the other, it’s RB.
  2. I don’t think RB is “terrible”, but given how the line did in pass pro, I am going to give them a slight pass. RB is easily our biggest weakness in that side of the ball. Probably followed by TE, OG, OT, WR, and QB in that order.
  3. I don’t mind Ertz, but I think I would rather have Peterson at $10M over Ertz at $8.5M
  4. I haven’t played much the last 2 years. But I think they worked that one out. Finding good return on trades was way harder in the last one. I’ve been tempted recently to start playing again.
  5. Also, the long game used to be, all picks would roll up a round if you traded them for a future pick. So every draft you take your 7th in 2021 and trade it for a 6th in 2022, and do that all the way up. In 6 years your second becomes an extra 1st.
  6. This Wallace move used to be a weird glitch. I think they fixed it, but it was around forever. But you’d take a mid level starter like Wallace. Overpay but still cheap on like a 6 year/$4M AAV. If you can rotate him in properly and he gets better it is stupid cheap. Then trade him for a 1st or 2nd in the contact year, while you’ve already tried to do the same with somebody else. The super great glitch that has most definitely been fixed in the last Madden is the draft. You’d take a dude like Wallace, flip him for a 2nd in a contract year. Trade that second for a 1st the next year. Rinse and repeat. At one point I did this a couple seasons in a row, ended up with 7 or 8 firsts and another 2-3 seconds. The game maxed out at like 12 picks in a draft, so eventually you have to use the firsts and reset the process.
  7. I have been critical of Wallace, but this is a move you make all day. I haven’t seen numbers yet. But if he’s in the $2-2.5M range, I would even consider pushing it to 3 and tack on a few years. If he gets better, great, you have a solid CB2 on a dirt cheap deal for 3 years. If he stays the same, he’s just depth and is paid like depth. Don’t create holes unless you have to.
  8. Based on his background and the title, I assumed he’s basically the NFL version of Director of Recruiting. Sounds like his job is to maybe help a little with free agents, but also do a bit of schmoozing with FA, agents, and current players. Thats just a guess though. I don’t know WTF this role is.
  9. This is my favorite thread hijacking ever.
  10. I remember that. I bumped into Jim Kelly and Russ Brandon at Lagerhaus95 the night Mario signed.
  11. BB playing 17D Pictionary on this one. He KNEW the Bills would bring in Fuller, so he signed nothing but TE. We don't have anybody to cover them. Bills go 14-2 on the season, but lose by a combined 83 points in both meetings against the Pats.
  12. Thanks for following me on TBD Lyndsey. A little credit next time, please.
  13. Maybe the grab Mack, Fuller, AND Ertz...The Gang Goes to Buffalo...My money is on Ertz to break the Boggs record before touching down in Buffalo.
  14. Dude, everybody is interested in a player like Mack. Everybody. Literally every team in the league has some interest in acquiring him. Don't get me wrong. I would be thrilled to have him here. I just don't think that is why they are there. It is far more likely that the Bills are in town to see the tight end they have been rumored to be the favorites in a trade for. Not the All-Pro stud, who just restructured his contract, and has about zero rumors (other than for Russ) linked to being traded. He already saved Chicago $20M this year. I know we all want him. But the odds of this are terrible. Especially when you consider that Ertz' wife lives in Chicago most of the year and there has been HUGE speculation of that move for the last few days. But sure, it is Mack....
  15. Sure, why not. It is like a 90 minute flight from Buffalo to Chicago. Maybe Ertz is on the fence and needs a quick sit down. Maybe he wants to see the facilities, and it is Covid/recruiting, so they send out the private jet. I don't know, but it feels like if you own a private jet, a 90 minute flight isn't an "is it worth it" moment. It is literally why you own the plane, so you have that thought much less than the average person. I know that does make WAAAAAAAY more sense than grabbing Mack randomly.
  16. Actually possibly/probably. His wife plays pro soccer for the MLS team there. I know everybody is getting rock hard over Mack, but this is actually a good catch and feels like it is most likely at the moment.
  17. So you’ve me my girlfriend?
  18. Beane fleeced em’ for a 2022 7th. Didn’t you hear, he’s a wizard.
  19. Those are Moorman numbers! Didn’t BM running something stupid like a 4.45? I think he won NCAA’s for D3 in the 400 hurdles? Also, our punter is faster than Singletary...
