  1. I got an Airbnb already for pretty cheap. But tickets are still pretty expensive now. $250 ea for nosebleeds after taxes and fees for 6. I’m holding out and hoping they drop.
  2. I was just talking to somebody about this the other day, but in regards to football pads. Like on one hand they’ve become a weapon. Guys are just torpedoing their bodies at each other. But on the other hand, a guy like Ray Lewis hitting me at full speed without pads might stop my heart. But seriously, I could die.
  3. You watch your mouth. I’m basically the same size, an inch shorter, but am a full grown adult.
  4. It looks like Josh was a perfect 29/29 in stolen base attempts in HS. It also looks like he may have never hit a HS home run. https://www.maxpreps.com/m/athlete/josh-allen/TKQp1vTvEeKZ5AAmVebBJg/baseball/stats.htm
  5. When I read Loeb and Loeb I can’t help but think of “Bob Lawblaws Law Blog”
  6. My knee jerk was "no he wasn't off the board, Sammy was the first WR taken". But luckily for everybody I read your entire post. haha. Evans would have been worth the trade up. He has had 7 consecutive years over 1k yards receiving. He has very quietly been an absolute thoroughbred and would have been worth the cost we paid for Watkins.
  7. If you gave me 100000000 guesses as to why neither one of them were in Monaco I never would have gotten to puppy. Haha
  8. Right. I took it as her being there. I thought the caption was something along the lines of “it is good to finally be back” on the same day as racing. Also, I really like Hamilton, but it was good to see Mercedes lose. They’re dominance is getting annoying. Bottas keeps getting the shaft though.
  9. Mike Evans has rather quietly had an amazing start to his career. At least relatively. This board Hs talked a lot about OBJ being on the board, but Evans is the big miss here. It also feels like half that class was signed by the Bills at some point.
  10. Given the fact that how the team structured practice revolves around vaccines it’s a necessary and reasonable question. Josh is also free to answer it personally or not. I don’t have a huge issue with asking because it is football related. I also don’t have a huge issue with him keeping those conversations internal.
  11. Cool beans. Maybe it’s me and my middle class brain/income but this would absolutely drive me bonkers in my SO. Paying to send my GF on 2 very expensive international vacations in a matter of 4 weeks without bringing in much/any independent income would drive me up a wall. Then again, I don’t make NFL money. Probably a conversation for a different thread.
  12. Is Josh at OTA’s? His GF posted on Instagram about being at the Monaco Grand Prix, so I assumed Josh was with her not realizing OTA’s were the very next day. That would be a wild turnaround if he was. Or a wild expense to send your GF for the weekend with her friends and not go too.
  13. I mean, Josh was in Monaco this weekend for the Grand Prix, maybe OP is onto something we don’t know. Maybe Ferrari was so star struck by Allen and his future wealth that they forgot to check the right side of the Leclercs drive shaft/gearbox after he crashed.
  14. I am just messing around. Syracuse is a poop hole. If I had to choose I’d take Rochester over Syracuse.
  15. I thought salt potatoes were a Syracuse thing? Poor Rochester.
  16. It depends on where you look. Like the DEC, NYSED, and NYS Comptroller don't don't consider Rochester part of WNY. Which is sort of the point. Rochester is a bit homeless in terms of being firmly apart of a region. Here we are, debating where the hell Rochester belongs, and it is exactly why they are grasping so tight to the Garbage Plate. It is sort of like when your parents get remarried later in life to somebody with kids but you are sort of an adult. They are technically your stepbrother/sister. But also, they are just sort of people in your life by marriage, so not really. That is Rochester. Nobody considers Syracuse part of WNY. At least nobody in Buffalo or Syracuse.
  17. This one devolved much quicker than I thought it would. I set the bar pretty low to begin with.
  18. Unpopular opinion/Hot Take. The Garbage Plate is not a thing. It is a conglomeration of ingredients. There is no unifying sauce, seasoning, flavor, or technique. Yours might be cheeseburger, pasta salad, french fries, and mustard. I might go with hashbrowns, hotdogs, mac and cheese, with ketchup and hot sauce. But Rochester steps up and goes, "yup, both of those things you ordered, ours, they are the same, that is us, we own this "dish"". Rochester is in no mans land and they are just begging to be attached to something and the best they could come up with was this garbage plate. They only have minor league sports. They are too far away to be considered part of WNY. People don't totally affiliate them with the finger lakes, at least from outside the region. Syracuse does a little bit better job of that. Syracuse also has the Orange. Flanking Rochester on either side of the 90 are two cities with some sort of national notoriety. An identity. A thing. The Garbage Plate is Rochester's stupid attempt to be "known for something" like the middle child acting out in school for attention.
  19. Stevie Johnson. Does god still hate you?
  20. Right, got that far. I just watched the 1:30 from the posters time stamp and didn't understand how it was relevant. Huge possibility here that I am a dumb-dumb.
  21. I have no idea wtf is going on here. Is that Donnie Osmond? Haha.
  22. I keep thinking about QB play, but that defense was really good last year. They managed to win games with a TE behind center. They could be in a rough spot by the time they get to November. I could see them "possibly" dropping 5 before NOV. SEA, GB, and TB, plus two more. Unpopular board opinion, the Pats won't be the easy out for any team like they were at the back end of 2020. My wallet is rooting for NO to lose 2 of NE, CAR, or WAS. GB @CAR @NE NYG @WAS BYE @SEA TB
  23. My luck will absolutely be that Winston is lighting it up this year. NOLA will have a major outbreak circa October and capacity will be reduced to 25%. Now I will end up just watching the game at the Air BnB.
  24. Don't get me wrong, some of the issue most definitely comes from the OL. I just think it is much less than 80%. I agree, the line is much better suited for pass pro. If you're OL is built to be the best at OL, a slow, hesitating, non-physical back, is going to have a very tough time no matter how many people he can make miss in a phone booth.
