  1. Good point on the team numbers from last year. I just pulled them up. We were so pass heavy last year that our total YAC was decent/mediocre at 14. But YAC/Comp we were 22 at 4.7 YAC/Comp. Actually a slight decrease from 2019 where we averaged 5.0 YAC/Comp.
  2. One thing that stood out to me re: the Bills during the KC-BAL game is guys making plays with the ball in their hand. Our YAC is abysmal with one player in the top 100 in the league. Last year we had 3 I believe, with Diggs at 13. A lot goes into that between Josh, Daboll, and the WR room. Two biggest factors I think are 1. Daboll likes the curl route more than most OC's (just by my eye) and likes it even more when Josh is cold to get him on target. 2. When Josh is off like he has been the last two weeks or earlier in his career, he doesn't put the ball in a great place to make a play after the catch.
  3. Considering the fastest clocked speed in the NFL is over 23 mph. No, not really close. Matt Breida was clocked at 22+ mph in 2019. Singletary is about 15% slower than the fastest guy in the league. If the EZ was another 5 to 10 yards, he would have been caught from behind.
  4. I am admittedly not nearly as high on Edmunds as others here. But today is the weirdest time to call out "the mistake". McD gave him a game ball yesterday.
  5. I think until the Bills can find a way to duel the chiefs in close games, the league/TV listings will see the Chiefs vs. Baltimore as a better match up. Lamar is 1-3 against KC. 2 were by 3 points and one of those went into OT.
  6. Meh. They are worthy of SB discussions and beat the king of the AFC hill. Not sure there is a giant difference between being called the best team in the AFC or the 2nd or 3rd best team in the AFC.
  7. Looked like Harbaugh left this decision up to Lamar. I respect it.
  8. The problem with that is we don’t have anybody nearly as talented as Lamar with the ball in their hands. He’s one of, if not the most dangerous runner in the league.
  9. People are too hard on Lamar. He doesn’t play the position like anybody else, but he also has a totally different skill set. He misses some stuff here and there, but he’s a good passer even if he misses some reads. He’s got the legs to make up for it at the moment.
  10. I think they’ll sort themselves out. They have in the past. For whatever reason the Chiefs seem to either be in these wild shoot outs or their defense is playing tough. They’re rarely steadfast.
  11. Question. How do the pit of bounds rules work. On that catch he hurdled the defender. Feet landed inbounds. Defender so contact and his knees touch then his hip up land out of bounds. In theory wouldn’t he be down in bounds not out?
  12. Holy crap. What a terrible INT. I’m laughing hysterically. Looks like it is going to be a long night for KC.
  13. A couple things. He didn’t get up then flex. He flexed while on him. I don’t think the flag was thrown for that because it happened quick. He was flagged for being on top of him, flexing, then yelling at him while he was still on top of him. I hated the call, but it wasn’t undeserved either. That one is on Wallace not the refs
  14. Jesus. I didn’t watch, is Jacksonville totally terrible as a team, or is Lawrence particularly bad? 14/33 114 yards, 2 INT, 1 TD
  15. I thought he deserved a game ball today. He’s been plying well.
  16. Tom Brady grew up in a different league than the one he plays in now. Comparatively to each others peers, Brady was better in the early 2000’s NFL than Allen was in the 2020 era. He won two Super Bowls and was top 10 in nearly every metric since he took the helm. He lead the league in TD passes his first full year as a starter. We are fine sticking with Allen through bumps. He’ll be fine, we will be fine. We have to be. But pulling up an excel sheet and blindly comparing Allen to Brady at any point in their careers is an incredibly bad and inaccurate take.
  17. I swear I saw a shot of him with his helmet on, on the sideline at the start of the half. I think Tua could have played but decided to run with Brissett for a handful of reasons. The two biggest being Brissett was playing as well Tua and Buffalo was kicking the crap of whoever was behind center. Playing Tua would have ensured that he missed a week.
  18. Brady won 2 Super Bowls in his first 4 years as a starter….
  19. I noticed it, and I love it. I think we are better in 3 LB sets.
  20. I want to give a game ball to the entire D but there were stand outs. AJE Milano Taron Johnson Knox
  21. Well…Allen blows this first half. That has nothing to do with number of attempts. Not sure that’s even debatable I have been pounding the table all week that the issue is and has not been run specific with this team, it’s their ability to consistently pick up 3-5 yards with high efficiency. Outside of one giant run, Singletary has not been reliable for that…at all. The Bills are going to struggle against a very physical Washington defense as well. As we’ve said in the past. This team runs through Allen. He’s had 6 bad quarters, and 6 bad offensive performances.
