Here me out, we have a real lack of depth at TE, if Knox gets turf toe tomorrow and can't go tomorrow. If Allen can learn TE in 4 days, do you think it is possible he sets the single game receiving record against KC?

OP kept asking people for real responses, I figured somebody had to do it.
-
The ask from OP though isn't for George Wilson to play SS. It is for Isaiah McKenzie to cover in man to man against Tyreek Hill. The time it would take for Isaiah to become a starting man to man corner is significant, and would require him to bail entirely on being a WR. Let alone be that guy in a week. George Wilson was also 6' 214lbs. I believe for last years Ravens game it was reported that IM was playing Lamar Jackson on the scout team to help get them up to speed. The Bills using IM like Hill on game day and in practice is most certainly his best use.

Remember the drought years, but totally whiffed on the George Wilson joke? But you sort of answer your own question. It is an absolutely crazy idea that Isaiah McKenzie can learn to play CB at a high enough level to cover one of the most dangerous WR's in the league in just one week. The next major issue is going to be size. Unless McKenzie can become good enough to live on an Island with Hill in the next 5 days, he is a liability at a very small 5'8". Have there been really successful 5'8" CB's? Maybe, I cannot name one. But none of them switched to CB mid-season, let alone mid-week in the playoffs to cover one of the better talents in the league. It could totally happen I guess if McKenzie were a totally different human though....

Some people just can't let the drought years go. "I am ready, put me in coach" - George Wilson right now, probably

I hate you and every other poster creating 100 versions of the same, dumb, bad juju threads. Stop

Would NE do Mac Jones + picks for Watson?
Mango replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is so dumb. Trading picks without legal proceedings and gaurantee from the league that Watson is at no risk of being suspended is beyond irresponsible. -
It will depend on how we do with drafts and FA decisions the next few years. I am glad the OL is gel-ing. It allows us some patience in letting rookies progress over the next year or two rather than need them to impact on day one. Phillips, Wallace, McKenzie, Edmunds resigning or getting immediate and comparable production will be a major defining factor.

Looking at this weekends schedule again, I really thought Buffalo v. KC would be the Saturday night game and Rams v. TB would be Sunday Night. It is a more compelling match up and bigger markets than GB v SF.

Upon further review ... Spencer Brown is a BALLER
Mango replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
Very liberal use of the word flattens.... But yes, I also like Spencer Brown. -
Tar and feather @Captain Cavemanif we lose. @SDS, can we make the bad juju a risk for OP's like this? Maybe their account/VPN is locked into the Peter Pan profile picture for a year if the Bills lose?

Tennessee. Rematch please. Also sets up the Bills for an entire rematch post season. NE, KC, TN....TB.

He gets flamed on this board sometimes, but I really like Shannon Sharp. He is one of the better talking heads.

Which team would you want to face in the Super Bowl?
Mango replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is a chance that a Bills road to the SB is a full slate of 2021 rematches. NE,KC,TN,TB -
[Incomplete Title] We know about Fitz’s attendance but how about….
Mango replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right, there is a guy, but your HC only has eyes on what goes on the big board. The HC is the one who has to throw the flag and makes the decision. It is a major part of homefield advantage, and it is one thing the Bills suck at. I am glad after all these decades, this is one of my largest gripes about the team at home. -
Historically in playoff rematches, the team that won in regular season also wins in the playoffs. So maybe it is good that KC beat Pittsburgh? I will regroup on this in a week or so.

I would have been all over this in my OKC days.

This is my big question mark to this game. We have not had to really been tested in the secondary much since Tre went down. This is a big test. I like having Milano with Kelce, but would much prefer not to have to pick either/or.
