  1. No, that was Allen being a big strong dude and running out of a sack. Allens hero ball is blindly throwing a ball to receiver while he is going to the ground. Or taking a shot at a well covered Sanders when you have somebody uncovered underneath so now we are in 3 and 10 instead of 3 and 2 or 4.
  2. The Bills have a very difficult time staying ahead of the sticks with any regularity with a quick passing game. People want to complain about the run. But honestly, who cares? All you have to do is pick up 3-5 yards with regularity ground or air. The passing game has to be able to operate with quick timing routes to hold the defense for a split second. I don’t know if it’s Josh or Daboll (I think it’s both) but if we could run a slant…ever…that’s be great.
  3. There was a super pedantic argument that went on here for Josh’s first two years as to whether or not Josh had an accuracy or precision issue. I was just making a stupid joke because Josh threw it right at the DL’s arm.
  4. When Josh threw it right into the already outstretched arm of the DL, was that good accuracy or good precision?
  5. What looks like a candied apple, but is really just a caramel onion.
  6. Our resident KC fans here have been great. But honestly, the rate of intolerability from KC fans has been really high. They surpassed what took pats fans 10 years to achieve. In other forums they are unbearable. If this team plays out like we think they might, Bills fans being unbearable is something I worry about.
  7. He has 2 huge receptions that is like 25% of his yards. But I think he has had some catches called back and/or misfired. I thought he was having an OK season given his age and his role. Feels like he is going to have games where he is either a major player or non-existent depending on match ups/opponents. I wouldn't be shocked if he had a 6-700 yard season with 3-5TD's, which would be a great year for a guy at 34 on the backside of his career. And to top it all off, he is on a SB contender.... Weird.
  8. After that flag I’m fairly certainly Kyler Murray is too short not to facemask
  9. I bet they set them up just like any other broadcast/production, and they have all the camera angles in front of them all the time.
  10. I think this is overthought. It think it is as simple as Sanders is still a very good receiver in the NFL, and better than Davis at this stage in both of their careers. To your point though, our WR corp is largely slick, smooth and quick, not big and/or physical. Davis provides a bit more of that. We generally lack size.
  11. It is wild to me to visualize the fact that Bruce Smith sacked Rex Grossman. Turns out it was the last sack of Bruce's career. Here is the total list incase anybody is interested. There are 76 of them. https://www.pilotonline.com/sports/article_e0ed0d73-ab1c-55f8-a3df-5e2e2de18ef3.html
  12. The Bills do have some flexibility at the interior next year. In theory Dawkins can kick inside if needed, he originally played G. His LT play has been very good but not stellar over his career. His salary/cap hit is closer to a top guard than a top LT next year. So if the Bills see a LT they really like more than the OG position, the could in theory move that direction. Unsure if Brown can play LT, but that could open some things up as well.
  13. I reaaaallllly want to agree here. But he as also a second round pick that was a healthy scratch in an important conference match up. He may very well turn out to be a very solid pick. But it is hard for me to swallow that in year two, a second round DE is still hanging out in sweats during important games.
  14. With Dawkins not playing well post covid Morse is our best OL. I am also not comfortable cutting our best OL to have maybe our worst OL take over his role. "Our guards suck, cut our best player/center, have one if the poop guards take over. Still need to fix the interior OL, but worse now"
  15. Agreed. I love Allen. If you asked me last year, I would have probably gone Mahomes and not really blinked. This year, I don't really give a shirt one way or the other. I am thrilled with both. To add to your points, it all depends on how far back you go with it. Allen and Tre or Mahomes and Vita Vea?
  16. Justin “I was expecting the NFL to be faster” Fields! I love it when this kid has a bad game. (I know contextually it wasn’t as bad as it sounds. Even so, no successful QB has ever said they expected the NFL game to be slower regardless of defense. Still a dumb quote)
  17. I suspect a healthy dose of Kumerow as well.

  19. Cheapest seats are $35. How much cheaper are you waiting for? (I agree, price will keep dropping)
  20. I might be jumping in late to this convo, so forgive me if I am reading this wrong.... We have to decide on Hughes again. He is still our best DE. While some combination of AJE and Basham, may fill that role (Groot is already penciled in), both have been healthy scratches THIS season. Addison is also an RFA next year. We also have to decide on whether or not we want to have a top 5 paid LB corp. Buffalo already has one of the highest paid OL's in the league, so we have to address that one through the draft at the moment we cannot really afford to throw more cash at it. OTC has us at about $11M and Spotrac has us at about $15M for 22. Our cap space is fine, but we need more impact at both lines on draft day.
  21. I was have been thinking a lot about Jerry lately. I am not so sure it is time to move on from him this season. He still seems to be our best DE by a good margin. Even if Groot passes him this year, he is better than AJE, Addison, Basham, Obada, etc.
