  1. A lot of this really depends on cost for me.
  2. I would be very happy with that. I don't know why, but I have a gut feeling it is for ~2x that.
  3. Right. That is sort of what I got. I get we have to run the ball better. But if I have to choose between the pass blocker or the run blocker, and I pay my QB $45M+, I’m taking the pass blocker. I know we didn’t like the Williams contract. But 12th highest paid OG in the league is trending towards average and we got that production out of him. My initial thought is I would have preferred to maybe extend Williams and up his guaranteed money to lower his cap hit rather than pay a premium for Saffold. There’s also a strong possibility I am an idiot. So who can really say who is right and who isn’t?
  4. Admittedly I am not an OL wonk like some of the others around here, but I get the impression he isn’t the same guy anymore. Hoping this isn’t big money. Anybody smarter than me have any insights?
  5. Jones, Wagner, Miller, Jackson. All seem surprisingly quiet.
  6. I get it. I think he has done enough to get a shot though. I don't think the risk of not getting a vet there is paramount when weighted against the cost.
  7. Honestly, I like our core group at WR. Diggs, Davis, McKenzie. I don't love Landry the human. I would prefer to use that money on starting OL, LB, or DE.
  8. Meh, 12th highest paid is hovering around average. We got decent production from him. I get we didn’t love the contract. But it wasn’t terrible either.
  9. After next season Cousins will have made just about a quarter billion dollars. $250 Million. The NFL: “State and local governments, can you help fund a $1.5B stadium” Also the NFL: “We value Kirk Cousins as a reasonable investment of 1/4B dollars”
  10. Gronk to TB all but confirmed.
  11. Just follow here. Yolo on TBD is the best follow on the internet.
  12. It also means in year two he’s likely to get an extension if the Bills want to free up a little bit of cash. Also in McKenzies favor.
  13. I don’t get the CMC hype. I just can’t imagine giving up assets for a $17M often injured RB. I just don’t see the value in that.
  14. Package that includes Edmunds is basically even cap this year. $12 and $14M. The Bills could make this work and still grab Wagner or Jones in FA.
  15. I think this thread is preemptive. This teams only real shot under McD was this year. And I put those 13 seconds on the coaching staff first. I have been critical of Beane at times. He’s largely done a good job. I think we have overspent on position groups in the draft without the nearly enough return (yet?). I have real concern over the compounding issue of having to keep redrafting position groups without great return. Similarly eating big cap space without great production. Last year is on coaching. Going forward, if we don’t get one, I think it will be on the FO.
  16. A lot of negative reaction to this. It’s a fair question. He seemed like a diamond in the rough for a minute. He’s a league minimum guy at this point. It doesn’t hurt to bring him into camp. I think he can play ST as well.
  17. Can't wait to spend another 3rd on this guy. As the saying goes, "If you don't draft 3 running backs in the 3rd round over 4 years the watermelon won't grow in the apple field next November"
  18. Hi Guys, Apparently Russell Wilson taught DK Metcalf how to swim. Enjoy your evening, Mango
  19. I tend to agree. With a looming Poyer extension it’s only going to get more expensive. I wouldn’t be shocked if some combination of our first three picks the Bills go DL and CB.
  20. It is almost as if drafting Singletary then Moss, and AJE, then Groot and Basham have rippling effects through the roster....
  21. Maybe, maybe not. Most certainly not worth the cost v cap at his current valuation. But you said kill people. I can name safeties who plays the game more violently than Edmunds does. That’s not even a knock. It’s just not his game and it never has been. Sort of like how Diggs will never outmuscle anybody.
  22. That would be amazing.
  23. Trading Edmunds and cutting Klein basically clears Wagner’s space. I don’t know why you think Edmunds would “kill” people. He’s an athletic freak but not a single person has confused him with a thumper. It’s just not in his wheel house.
  24. It is worth noting that this is only the case because this year is the 5th year option for Edmunds. In most cases there is dead money when you trade a player.
  25. But why?
