  1. So when this inevitably fails, what does McCown go do? Does he go from NFL HC to OC for Williamsville North as his second coaching gig ever? (I am aware Josh McCown has made enough money to never work again)
  2. I know a Sean Wolf. This title throws me for a loop.
  3. Right. I really don't want the team to whine about it and play "clean" like they did in the AFCCG. Come out with the expectation that this is how the game is going to go.
  4. It looks like Dane Jackson likes to try and play physical. Given the crew and the stakes, I hope the team comes out really physical at OL and CB, daring the refs to throw a flag. It is easier to pull back pretty quickly then to try and push the line as the game goes on.
  5. Pat McAfee is taking Buffalo. Love to see it.
  6. I just went through and tracked ticket pricing yesterday and how they have moved all week. 8-9 days ago people grabbed them for $150. A few days later $200. Now 300 level tickets are $350. I figured I had to make the decision to go, or the cost of the game after the final whistle would make it for me. I live driving distance to Buffalo these days, so I only had to book one refundable flight. Really hoping the Universe understands this isn't a cocky purchase. This is me getting to the game at an affordable price v. not going at all.
  7. Really poor choice of words then. "Then you need to rip off another play with what 17 or less seconds and no time outs to score?" - You can get two maaaybeee three passing plays with 17 seconds left on the 3. It is presnap read, hit your backfoot, fire it in there or into the stands. You phrased it as that there was inherent risk in just getting a single play off in "17 seconds" and with "no time outs". Also weird you mention you thought the Bills OL lined up for pass. Allen lines up in shotgun. But the coaching staff didn't get the team lined up properly? I actually would have played for the FG there. I disliked the decision as a whole. But it wasn't a coaching blunder. Allen made the wrong check and slipped. The OL lost their one on ones. It is what it is
  8. Bills had a timeout. Play looks like Allen checked into a run. So in that scenario, what’s the coaching blunder?
  9. Pulled this from Reddit. But we know the way. In order to win the Super Bowl, we have to lose to KC. This is the 5th time the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs have met in the playoffs. The winner of the 4 previous matches has went on to lose the Super Bowl. 20-21 AFC Championship - Chiefs win and lose Super Bowl to Tampa 93-94 AFC Championship - Bills win and lose Super Bowl to Dallas 91-92 Divisional Round - Bills win and lose Super Bowl to Washington 66-67 AFL Championship - Chiefs win and lose Super Bowl to Green Bay
  10. Given the size of Spencer Brown, 300 Browns are basically the same as 900 South-Buffalonians.
  11. Hoping you bring 10-20,000 of your closes friends!
  12. Anybody have insight into how well Buffalo will be traveling to this game? Ticketmaster has tickets at $115 still...That seems dirt cheap for this game.
  13. Maybe because I am seeing a lot of Buffalo specific stuff. But this game does have a National feel of "My head says KC, but my heart says this is Buffalo's time". Even when it comes to ESPN, FSN, NFLN.
  14. What do you mean by hot seat then? Do coaches receive criticism when things go wrong? Yes. In fact you are already ready to, no matter what happens on Sunday. Which is wild in and of itself. The 4th down call, a coaching blunder? what are you talking about? Disagree with the decision, fine. I won't argue the call one way or the other. Unorganized? They came out of a timeout, lined up just fine. We failed to execute. Tennessee did a better job, it is what it is. And to bring that up in the same scenario of the total systemic and organizational failure of what happened in that Dallas game, is absolutely wild.
  15. That run with 14 seconds was absurd. Didn't they confirm that was the call and McCarthy confirmed/OK'd the call on the headset. And they they even practice this play call....without a ref....where the center just spots the ball himself and somebody taps it...Not to mention that the self spotted ball on game day was nearly 2 full yards off the mark..... It is wild that there is a thread about our coaches maybe being on the hot seat with a bad performance, while also comparing it to the biggest coaching blunder of the playoffs so far this year. When Allen throws 3 interceptions in a game, there can be a lot of reasons for it. But I put most of it on the QB...on any team. We have a strong HC who has some leash, who also provides his staff with some leash. Nobody is on the hot seat from a coordinator perspective.
  16. So things are lucky. I firmly believe that. What is up for debate is whether it is some ethereal intervention or just I feel better if I wear, touch, do, some special thing before I do a thing. “if men define situations as real, they are real in their consequences” - Or as Deion says, "look good, feel good. Feel good, play good". Doesn't matter to my why things are lucky, but they are. I also remember going into the AFCCG last year being really upset the Bills wore white on blue pants. Every loss came with blue pants last year, including that game....
  17. I agree. But I didn’t bye them because I am counting my chickens. I bought them because I couldn’t afford to go if I didn’t. Hopefully the universe will notice the difference.
  18. First of all, the only condiment on a standard burger should be mayo. Also mayo is the preferable dipping sauce for fries. I like ketchup. But amazing on burger and fries?
  19. Slightly worried about a TItans win and a Bills loss. Titans v Bengals tickets are 30% cheaper than what I paid. But hoping the mark up for an AFCCG is big. Rooting pretty hard against Tennessee.
  20. I bought both already from Vivid. I figure I will either resell or cancel. But I have tickets for both venues.
  21. That’s my gut feeling. It’s why I have not touched the OU.
  22. This is bull shirt. I just bought a pair of tickets for the AFCCG in Buffalo and Nashville. I have the Titans tickets in my Apple wallet already. I’m actually waiting for my tickets to the Ralph still. I figure I can just resell or cancel without much issue.
  23. With Tre out, I guess we have answered the "who should cover Kelce?" question....probably bracket Hill with Poyer/Hyde.
  24. I mentioned this in the "Make McKenzie a CB" thread. But McKenzie is super valuable to us this week. We should use him like Tyreek at practice and on game day.
