  1. Honestly. I feel bad for Browns fans. The team is hamstrung with Watson eating tons of cap space and 3 first round draft picks. Admittedly I don't like Watson the human. But even as a player, I don't think I would have touched this deal if I were a GM.
  2. I don't think he gave us nothing. He has been decent, but we need more. I think the Edmunds situation starts to become difficult if he is willing to take a deal comparable to Milano. I wouldn't put Oliver in that boat. I thin he has gotten better every single year he has been here. Right now the 5th year and pending extension feels like a no brainer.
  3. I like Edmunds, but would also like to upgrade the position. Part of me is afraid to see him kill it elsewhere. But that might be some Bills fan PTSD. If I am the FO, even if Edmunds kills it this year and I want to bring him back, I think his value is already diminished. His agent will say, "Tremaine is coming off a crazy year". My response would be, "Yeah, all it took was to draft 4 DL in the firs two rounds and go out and spend $17.5M AAV on Von Miller. We have spent most of our resources for 2-3 offseasons on front 7 talent"
  4. I love Bob Woods. But his current contract is too high for us. And honestly, until this off season, probably too high in general. He’d have to sign a new deal. That said, the current WR is all out of whack, and $17M is probably not crazy far off. Watching the WR market, I think we’re going to have to start drafting guys higher more often to keep costs low.
  5. Hahahaha. What a butthead. Brady just laughing his way through the NFC.
  6. I think I would avoid that. Just based on some of the cap-wonks we have here, there have been estimates we might have pushed our 2023 cap number down to $15M. We have have Edmunds, Knox, Poyer, Singletary, Olivers 5th year.
  7. I woke up this AM thinking the same thing. I hope Jerry has it in him this season to take the pay cut and be part of the rotation.
  8. I hope there are a lot of outs. At first it is like "YAY!" But also, he is 32 and hasn't had double digit sacks since 2018... Right, and estimates are that it took next years space from $50M to $15M. With Poyer, Edmunds, Singletary, Knox coming due. Really hoping this one works out. This is a lot of coin on a 32 year old who hasn't had double digit sacks since 2018. Given the money involved, I am OK if we introduce him to the Liver King and get him on a cycle tren. Between Miller, Oliver, Rousseau, Basham, AJE, Hughes, Addison, and Murphy, is there another team that has a higher asset (cash/draft pick) per sack ration?
  9. There it is. We will have to get more specifics. But I am still pretty cautious about this deal.
  10. It has to be two void years, right? But that doesn't even make sense given the value? He is 32 with an AAV of $20M over 6 years? That just seems wild.
  11. Holy shirt balls. Not even mad, but where the fork did that cap space come from?
  12. Specific players aside. I just feel like we keep revolving around the same position groups all the time. Like we have spent 5 top 100 picks on the front 4 in recent memory. Spent tons of money on Addison, Murphy, Star etc. trying to work the books to try and fit another DL on a highly paid (last year), highly drafted, under performing DL. Singletary then Moss. Estimates are we whittled next years space from $50M to $15M just to get through this offseason. I feel like every offseason is the same, with the same needs, and the same results, but the overall cap situation just creeps closer and closer. In that sense I do not like this offseason so far, even if I like a player or two.
  13. Ideally, yes. But Wagner has not made less than the Edmunds option year since 2017. I feel like the likelihood of that working out is low.
  14. That was my big fear heading into this offseason. Getting through it without trashing the next year. $15M is OK. But we have Edmunds, Knox, Poyer,
  15. Wouldn't Poyer make sense with his contract expiring this year?
  16. A bunch of numbers are missing on OTC and Spotrac. Any idea what our space is looking like in 2023?
  17. Is this confirmed those numbers are AAV? I assumed they were total. Which puts TT a hair under what MT signed for here.
  18. Check out my DL rotation, girl.
  19. At the risk of being pedantic. I think they need a leap from AJE. I think he’s way off pace of both needed and expected performance. Rousseau would do nicely to just consistently get better.
  20. Live footage of TJ Yeldon.
  21. Well that isn't the way the NFL has ever worked...but OK... Poyer will be paid based on his performance compared to his peers. If he plays like one of the best safeties in the league again, he will be paid in the same range as one of the best safeties in the league. Maybe he doesn't get 5 years, he gets 2 or 3. Maybe a couple bucks get taken off. But to say another safety getting paid doesn't have anything to do with our safety getting paid is absurd.
  22. Are we you even allowed to field an NFL team if you don't have an RB3 who might be better than your RB2, and healthy scratch him every week?
  23. Jesus. Poyer is due for an extension next year....
  24. Totally guessing, but I’m thinking Beasley was searching a trade because he was asked to take a paycut and said no. It is possible he stays. I might even put it at 50/50. But the odds of him staying at his current contract are probably slim. And honestly, if I am the Bills, I most certainly lower my original contract offer. The Bills want Bradley’s number lower or gone. He’ll take a paycut here or he’ll play somewhere else.
