Afternoon update 2: I have had too much coffee and my insides are shaking because of it. I don’t want this much coffee. But I don’t know what else to do with my time. Morale is low at the moment. For some reason I thought the TB game was at 2:30. But it’s 3:00. I was really looking for football to start. Go Bills.

Football players are notoriously bad weight lifters, but they do it with really heavy weights. It’s bot hugely surprising that they are having less injuries after taking a bunch of load off their low backs.

Yeah. Both those blocked kicks looked like blown blocking assignments, not specialists error.

Afternoon update: I went to make a Turkey sandwich and noticed we were out of pickled red onions. So I detoured to make another batch. After boiling everything I needed, I couldn't find red onions in the pantry, so I was stuck using white onions. I don’t know how those will turn out. But then when I opened the fridge, there were two half red onions. So I doubled back and also made another batch of pickled red onions. Both didn't have enough time to totally pickle, so neither are on my now made Turkey sandwich. But I have them for the future which is good. Go bills!

I don’t know what to do with my day…or my hands. 9.5 hours until kickoff. Ahhhhhh!

I just woke up. 5:30 am EST. I went to bed at midnight after the GB game. I have no interest in being awake. But all I keep thinking is, “13 hours until kickoff”…. Go Bills Baby!

Thanks. For some reason I thought that was this offseason. I was mostly just messing around. But they actually can afford Rodgers. Which would make things VERY difficult.

Cheapest ticket now is $8000. That’s wild. Also hate it. It would be nice if there was a rowdy crowd at the SB.

Scary thought. Indy has $43M in space. Wentz saves them another $15M. They have another $115M expected in 2023z Rodgers AND Adam’s go to Indy on a package deal. 3 years $120M combined.

Bills fans are wild. Cheapest ticket for a KC AFCCG is $235. Buffalo is $442.

This bothers me just because we spend these resources tracking normal people selling a pair of tickets to single game. We are are chasing taxes on Venmo for garage sales. Just random people who earn like $60k per year making 200 bucks in their driveway 3 times per decade But some people pay like a 4% tax rate on huge incomes

Umph is playing in Albany soon. And I was thinking how little Moe. plays here, which is annoying considering they lived here for a bit.

Are you going to go? Are you going to get extras? I’ll gladly take them at cost. Ha!

Fox plays a ton of Phish and Grateful Dead. Kudos to their producer, I love it!

Unsure what to think here. GB is a very good team. Rodgers is playing out of his mind this year. I don’t really want to play them, but…. I am not thrilled to go head to head with a team that shuts down Rodgers and keeps the game 7-3 half way through the 3rd. It just feels like a similar match up to Indy.

Also agree. I’m not a huge Aikman fan in general. It just seems like he’s not a great commentator, and he tries to make up for it by being “edgy” and “critical” to show you how smart he is. But he just comes off like a grass hole

That could have been a pick, but Aikman seems way too hard on JG. It’s just relentless and almost personal.

I mentioned it elsewhere. Even if my ticket levels out to $100 less than I paid, the $100 extra was basically insurance that I could afford to attend and I am cool that I did it. The inverse, pricing skyrocketing, would hurt my soul.

This game feels so anticlimactic after the CIN v TEN game and BUF v KC looming tomorrow. I love it!

I am a guy who believes in ju-ju and I think this thread errs on the side of OK. Nobody is chatting about Buffalo beating KC or looking past the divisional round. It’s just cost. Given the market right now some of us need to get tickets at the current price and can’t afford to wait until it’s official.

Vivid got me with $110 in fees…per ticket…
