  1. I don’t get the CMC hype. I just can’t imagine giving up assets for a $17M often injured RB. I just don’t see the value in that.
  2. Package that includes Edmunds is basically even cap this year. $12 and $14M. The Bills could make this work and still grab Wagner or Jones in FA.
  3. I think this thread is preemptive. This teams only real shot under McD was this year. And I put those 13 seconds on the coaching staff first. I have been critical of Beane at times. He’s largely done a good job. I think we have overspent on position groups in the draft without the nearly enough return (yet?). I have real concern over the compounding issue of having to keep redrafting position groups without great return. Similarly eating big cap space without great production. Last year is on coaching. Going forward, if we don’t get one, I think it will be on the FO.
  4. A lot of negative reaction to this. It’s a fair question. He seemed like a diamond in the rough for a minute. He’s a league minimum guy at this point. It doesn’t hurt to bring him into camp. I think he can play ST as well.
  5. Can't wait to spend another 3rd on this guy. As the saying goes, "If you don't draft 3 running backs in the 3rd round over 4 years the watermelon won't grow in the apple field next November"
  6. Hi Guys, Apparently Russell Wilson taught DK Metcalf how to swim. Enjoy your evening, Mango
  7. I tend to agree. With a looming Poyer extension it’s only going to get more expensive. I wouldn’t be shocked if some combination of our first three picks the Bills go DL and CB.
  8. It is almost as if drafting Singletary then Moss, and AJE, then Groot and Basham have rippling effects through the roster....
  9. Maybe, maybe not. Most certainly not worth the cost v cap at his current valuation. But you said kill people. I can name safeties who plays the game more violently than Edmunds does. That’s not even a knock. It’s just not his game and it never has been. Sort of like how Diggs will never outmuscle anybody.
  10. Trading Edmunds and cutting Klein basically clears Wagner’s space. I don’t know why you think Edmunds would “kill” people. He’s an athletic freak but not a single person has confused him with a thumper. It’s just not in his wheel house.
  11. It is worth noting that this is only the case because this year is the 5th year option for Edmunds. In most cases there is dead money when you trade a player.
  12. Bills have major needs at DE. AJE has not proven to be a starter in this league. He was 4th in snap count, but Efe only played in 10 games vs. AJE 14. I think Shaq is an upgrade. A major one. I am very uncomfortable with AJE even being considered as a starter on this DL. Basham saw most of his playing time playing inside on passing downs. I don't recall him ever getting meaningful time on the edge.
  13. Doesn’t care about a guy on the internet? Something tells me that given the opportunity, Neon would love nothing more than to beat you so bad in a foot race missing his big toe, that your great great grand kids are still crying.
  14. Some people know no end when it comes to keeping Rex Ryan at bay. But honestly, I feel for the guy. He basically made his career with his feet. As much as this situation would suck for any of us, it’s got to hit DS quite a bit harder.
  15. I have taken a pretty frugal approach to this offseason. But I would mortgage a lot fo the future to land Wagner and Jones in the same offseason.
  16. I just pulled from spotrac. There is some fluctuation for sure.
  17. Here is my biggest problem with your post. You speak in ambiguities. Like we are quibbling between the difference in understanding between "to have a shot" and "no chance". What you didn't lay out is how we get it done, and what the cost is. Where do we get the money from Chandler Jones and Gronk? What players do we flat out cut to make room? Who do we restructure, and what casualties are you willing to take from the 2023 roster? Buffalo is estimated at $40M under the cap next season, We will end up eating some of that just to get through the 2022 draft. Think about that. Just to be allowed to sign rookies, we have to cut, restructure, and borrow against next years money. So when you say trade a 1st for DK, I assume you mean an extension as well. The market was just reset today at $20M AAV. Just to make that move alone, and get through the draft, the Bills are down to $15M for 2023. To grab Jones and Gronk we will drop drop current players, and borrow against next years money. Which means we most likely don't re-sign a combination of Knox, Singletary, Oliver, Poyer, Jackson. Dane Jackson is actually a big one because in your scenario we most certainly cannot afford Wallace. Which is fine, but we cannot cut bait with all of our DB depth. Especially if there is a good chance we walk from Poyer. Which again, in your situation, becomes a likely casualty. Interesting you are big on this when you are so pro Edmunds sticking around because we couldn't afford.
  18. Right, he could be. But I have no interest in paying the dude $20M. A few Seattle friends of mine get frustrated with him for taking plays off. We have other guys to re-sign next season. I don't like a first for a rental, and I don't like keeping him at $20M per season. The Bills are estimated at $40M in cap space in 2023. To just get through the draft we are going to have to borrow against that number, let along FA's. I don't have any interest in the Bills eating up half of that or more on DK flippantly.
  19. I have talked to some friends who are Seahawks fans. He has a bad rap for taking plays off. I would love to have him. But a first is way too rich for me. I also have little interest in $20M per after this season.
  20. 2022 is his last. Nobody is giving a first straight up without a contingency for an extension.
  21. What? He has 1 year left and would require a possible $20M AAV extension to stay. A first would be HIGHLY conditional on an extension AND performance in 2022.
  22. Here me out, it is all doable. First I ask my girlfriend for a threesome. Then I follow Jennifer Lawrence on instagram. After that, I do what it takes to get Scarlett Johansen involved. When this all goes down, I make sure that I package all of my assets to make sure that all of this happens on DiCaprio's mega yacht.....
