  1. If Keenum velocity is too much, Crowder is toast when QB1 is playing.
  2. Really? I didn’t know which direction AB was going to go. This didn’t disappoint. What a wild human.
  3. This shows up for me as "potentially sensitive content". Honest question for Twitter. WTF could possibly be offensive? Are they thinking Singletary is throwing gang signs? (the shocker?!)
  4. If Bojo taught us anything, it is all about the holder not the kicker.
  5. Feels like camp used to play in OP then come back to Rochester? Maybe that was with 4 preseason games?
  6. F1's Lewis Hamilton is actually part of the buying group. https://metro.co.uk/2022/08/10/nfl-group-featuring-lewis-hamilton-buys-denver-broncos-in-record-deal-17158024/
  7. I am not high on Austin or Stevenson....like at all. My thinking was that between McKenzie, Cook, Shakir, Hodgins, and to an extent Knox, they have all the skill sets they could ever need to play inside at this point. So where does Crowder fit in? I sort of said that thinking the Bills only keep 6. But they will keep more, so in that case he is likely still here.
  8. In no particular order. Josh Poyer Tre Losman EJ Bledsoe Paup Bruce Andre Thurman
  9. I had a hot take today that Hodgins and Kumerow makes the roster with Crowder being cut or traded. Looking at this depth chart, it’s not thaaat wild. Shakir is basically a lock and listed as SWR3. Kumerow and Hodgins are the primaries outside. I think Shakir moves to SWR2 and Crowder goes for a draft pick to free up $1M. (Cap wizards can correct me. I think in a trade the Bills are only on the hook for his signing bonus, since it’s a one year deal, right?)
  10. The "big slot" is actually becoming much more common in the league. Just look at how athletic TE's are becoming. Sort of a similar concept. But even guys like Evans and Adams are spending a good amount of time inside. There are times you play McKenzie and times you play a guy like Hodgins. Both are mismatches for all sorts of reasons.
  11. Tried to merge, but it did not work. Hodgins played a lot of "big slot" at OSU. He can certainly play both. I think there is a world where there is actually a log jam. Shakir has had a great camp, can provide depth anywhere, and is staying on the roster. Cook is lining up outside all the time, plus Dawson Knox. So why not keep Hodgins and drop Crowder at that point? You have all the inside skill you really need. Where is the playing time for a guy like Crowder in that room vs. additional depth outside?
  12. Hodgins played a lot of the "big slot" at OSU. He can certainly play inside.
  13. Austin and Stevenson have proven to be not good returners. Stevenson may still have some upside because he is young. But he wasn't good last year. The competition is likely Kumerow vs. Hodgins. One thing that isn't being discussed is that there is a world where Crowder is the odd man out. Shakir can play both inside and out. I believe Hodgins was used as a big slot at OSU as well. Plus Cook. Unless Crowder starts lighting it up quickly, the offense may have enough tools inside. From a cap perspective, keeping and cutting Crowder cost basically the same thing. $1.87M to cut and $1.98M to keep. With a $750k signing bonus he might actually be a good trade piece.
  14. Can I get you a tissue or a tube sock?
  15. I actually think "the change" is JA17. Cole came in to the team to try and bring along a young QB. The QB has now arrived, Cole lost a step, became a distraction, and his role was JAG. Instead of "teaching Josh (or McKenzie)' he started having to taking direction. That's the change. But we are all just a bunch of sheep who can't see through the league, or the world, or whatever Kanye-esque conspiracy theory CB wants to rant about.
  16. Talk to you again next year.
  17. This only goes one of two ways. Really good or really bad.
  18. I can't imagine it is actually that hard to get medical clearance for a visor; kind of like getting a medical card , right?
  19. Which is fine. Good for him and his family. But it doesn't really change anything. He should have been kicked out of the league.
  20. I absolutely loathe Ben. The fact that he remained in the league for so long infuriates me. I had a soft spot for the Steelers as a fellow rust belt down, and now I can’t stand them.
  21. My favorite part about this would be Watson playing in $1M and suspended on $50M in cap hits.
  22. They actually can. All agents are certified. All teams who negotiate with an uncertified agent are fined 30k. I believe in situations like Lamar, there is a $30k fine for negotiating with a non-accredited agent. Source: https://nflpa.com/agents/how-to-become-an-agent
  23. There were reports that earlier in practice JP had made contact with Keenum and Josh pulled him aside and told him to back off. More than anything I think this is a tough roster to make at the moment, so low end guys like Phillips show up with much more stress than usual.
  24. I haven't thought that far yet, bare with me. They would probably need to create some sort of certification for membership kind of thing first if it doesn't exist.
  25. I can maybe get behind not including the player. But there should be a very major fine for agents who participate in these conversations as well.
