  1. Your original post quite literally says “in order from weakest to strongest”. You even bolded it. You also said CB is “likely NEAR the top”. Taron doesn’t play on the outside. He’s not really involved in the conversation about upgrading the CB role. Taron is starting nickel. So no, you didn’t explicitly say Dane Jackson is better than Mitch Morse. But when you explicitly say that upgrading Morse is THE WORST position on the roster, you don’t need to explicitly say Morse is worse than Jackson, or Neal, or Kumerow, because you’ve stated it’s the worst position on the roster. THE.WORST. Morse isn’t our worst OL let alone the worst position on the entire roster.
  2. Quite literally nobody is confusing your thoughts about upgrading every position with the entire team sucks. Nobody. Every single person here is highly critical of the fact that your front office priority list starts with our offensive center and ends with upgrading WR. The reasoning for each position group really isn’t relevant. Your argument is that Mitch Morse is either the worst starter or the weakest link on the entire roster. And that is not that Dane Jackson is CB1, or that if either Diggs or Davis get hurt the Bills start positioning Goodell to ban the forward pass. Of course if the team grabs a TE, LB, or IOL in the top 100 while addressing CB/WR in FA or via trade nobody is going to get angry. But the entire premise you keep trying to drive home is flawed from the get go.
  3. I have read and reread your post. I just can’t get passed this. The entire post is about accurately ranking our weakest links. By your own premise Dane Jackson/Siran Neal are better than Mitch Morse. Kumerow is the direct back up to Stefon Diggs right now. I can’t imagine a world where drafting a new center is hollistically more important than upgrading Kumerow at X/Z.
  4. Dude, nobody thinks that you are saying the roster is bad. Or the team is terrible. The criticism is purely with your talent e v a l at a holistic level. The fact that you think upgrading Mitch Morse is the number one concern on the roster is absolutely the wildest take of the offseason. As imposter before, if Stef or Gabe go down, their back up is Jake Kumerow. But sure, Mitch Morse is the biggest hole the 2022 Buffalo Bills have…. By your same logic and rankings Dane Jackson and/or Siran Neal > Mitch Morse. It is only April and that might be the worst take of 2022.
  5. You put center at the top of the list when Mitch Morse has been great. His greatest concern is concussion history. Meanwhile our starting CB’s on the outside right now are Dane Jackson and maybe Siran Neal? You might want to take a gander at our WR depth. If Stef or Gabe goes down, next man up is Jake effing Kumerow…. But sure. Draft a back up center at the top of the draft…
  6. $4M is a fair price. I wouldn't have minded if Buffalo considered a similar deal for WR depth (in a world where we have some cap space)
  7. I am fairly certain this is just a photoshop. I think for the eye, without the black the numbers and letters starts to bleed a little bit....unless of course you just copy and paste. Most jerseys have a third color outline around numbers.
  8. I just got up and checked my closet. Both the home and away jerseys have it and it is most definitely black. I assumed it was for TV and/or graphic design to help the red/blue pop and provide a more definitive line/border between the colors. I almost never even notice it.
  9. Restructuring only kicks the can down the road. So sure we can "restructure" Diggs so his cap number isn't $26M in 2024. But that will increase his number is 25 and 26 where his cap number is still $26M plus. Allen is similar and would require an extension to spread the money. Miller is a bit different because we have an out in 2025 with a $7M dead cap hit. But people keep parroting "restructure" like it is some magic bullet that makes the cap go away. Restructuring is how we got under the cap this year. And it is directly responsible for the conversations we are having as to whether or not we keep Poyer or Knox going forward.
  10. Dollars compared to other QB's isn't super comforting to me. I mean, I guess it is to feel like I have value. But his $$$ is still a very significant % of the cap going forward. Next year Allen, Diggs, and Miller together are going to take up just over 1/3 of our total cap space next year and the year after. The Bills pushed all their chips to the middle of the table this year. I am fine with it. But it will cost us in the next 2-3 years no matter what Derek Carr gets paid.
  11. I lived in OKC during the Durant years. Durant didn't change the franchise, he was the franchise. WTF are you talking about? He took a 20 win team to a 50 win team over the course of 2 years.
  12. Jack Eichel has a very good shot at finishing his 7th season with his 7th consecutive losing record. Vegas is 12-13 since he started playing and only collected 1 point in their 13 losses. They were 3rd in the West the day he started his first game and now might miss the playoffs all together. Kevin Durant is a sure fire first ballot hall of famer and is amongst one of the best scorers in the history of the NBA. KD is the Nets right now. I know people hear Kyrie, but that team is a mess at the moment and Durant is the glue. But yeah, totally the same guy....
  13. Spotrac is estimating $218M. Which might be a bit conservative. The highest estimates I’ve seen for 2023 are $225M. Could maybe be more but $9M isn’t huge either with Singletary, Knox, and Poyer needing new contracts. I am happy to have Miller and Stef but it will certainly come at a cost the next few years. We will have to get more immediate production from our top 100 picks moving forward if we want the window to stay open.
  14. Buffalo is estimated to have $2M free next year. The chips are in the center of the table. 2022 is the giddy up year.
  15. This. I don’t see him signing anything less than $10M per. Poyer was the best player on this defense last year. He isn’t taking $8-9M
  16. First of all, I would like to apologize to everybody here. I bought a Poyer jersey last year. These things tend to happen when I buy a jersey. To the bolded. I think Poyer and Hyde cover a lot of deficiencies for in our front 7. I get they are getting old, but I thought they both had another contract in them for sure. The Bills have not hit their front 7 picks out of the park by any means. Moving on from Poyer and Hyde could cause some issues. Unpopular opinion, but the Diggs contract gets me worried about this stuff. Josh Allen's feelings aside, I am not sure having the highest paid WR/QB tandem in the NFL is a long term recipe for success.
  17. The Bills should design their own Henley Blazer. It is tradition when racing at Henley, all spectators and participants wear a blazer when on land. Teams, colleges, etc. take it pretty seriously. A lot of the designs are 100+ years old and specific to each team. Some are modest some are super wild. https://www.instagram.com/collierrobinson/
  18. I think this might be the highest paid QB/WR combo in league history. At least in terms of total value. EDIT: In terms of AAV % of cap Josh and Stef combine for ~35% of the teams salary cap. They are the only QB/WR combo both in the top 5 in the league for their positions.
  19. Looking at that I think WR depth is a serious concern. Probably more pressing than almost anywhere. Followed closely by DB. Those are 1a and 1b. Followed by LB and OL depth/future.
  20. Great question. Forget plays, I would love to have him call the KC playoff game this year. (ending aside)
  21. A perpetual Josh Allen trade is in the works! Every year Josh Allen goes to the worst team in the NFL, and in return the Buffalo Bills get the first pick in the NFL draft. This year we get the 1st overall pick and the Jags get Allen. Next year maybe the Falcons get Josh Allen, and we get the first pick in the draft. Maybe Indy starts tanking just to get Josh Allen for 1 year. Suddenly really good players are taking pay cuts to go to terrible organizations so they can be around Josh Allen (in shorts!). 6 years later the Bills have 4 firsts and 6 seconds just by trading out of the pick and/or perpetually trading QB's. This happens for eternity/until Josh Allen dies.
  22. Ummm. Best case scenario is Tre starts week one, but takes a few weeks to ramp back up. Worst case scenario, Tre misses a few weeks then takes time to get back to form. Either way, Dane Jackson is not ready to start in that scenario. Is that even being debated at this point?
