  1. Sheesh. A couple of down votes. It was a joke. Tough crowd….
  2. How many 6th do you think we could get for Edmunds?
  3. He might turn out to be the most talented pass catching RB that we healthy scratch every Sunday.
  4. I saw that and scrolled through his insta earlier. I think he’s going to become a fan favorite. I don’t know how anybody doesn’t love this guy and I think he’s going to like it here. Dude immediately asked Terry to put the playbook on the plane.
  5. Maybe Beane just hates Stevie Johnson. He will do anything to keep Whaley guys away from this team.
  6. I think Skyy Moore was in play if he was there. Depends on how the rest of the draft would have fallen. I didn’t think Dean was in play, but I’m starting to think we could go that route if he is there.
  7. We have Davis for 2 more years. He doesn't need a new contract until 2024 where estimates are the cap will exceed $250M. The Bills only have $180M in contracts for the 2024 league year. It is possible to sign Davis without any issues if they choose to do so. After the upcoming offseason where we have a ton of contracts expiring and little space, the 2024 league year is manageable. We are having immediate discussions about losing our MLB and SS after this season. There are serious needs at guard in the next year. Unless the Bills absolutely love an outside WR in the second, I would much prefer to go after positions that will take more immediate starting roles. Guys that you are planning to to start in 3 years can be taken in later rounds and groomed. FA After 2022 Edmunds Poyer J.Philips Lawson Knox Dane Jackson Saffold Keenum Matakevich Singletary OJ Howard Ford Crowder Andre Smith D.Johnson T.Jones Queensbury Sweeney Mancz Boetteger Kumerow Lee J.Johnson Lewis Barkley Gilliam Ankou Dodson FA- After 2023 Bass Oliver Hyde Settle J. Jones McKenzie AJE Moss B. Bryant Gentry Love McCloud
  8. Right, I get that, to an extent. But I also look at second round picks as projected or expected starters. We are locked into Diggs for eternity and one would hope we extend Davis as part of the corp. Crowder is a fine stop gap for cheap. I can get behind drafting a WR in the second for sure even on the outside. But from a roster and draft value point of view it feels like either Sky Moore or get a somebody who is prepping to start in 2023 if we let Edmunds walk or don't/can't extend Poyer. Don't underestimate the importance of a punter either....
  9. I absolutely HATE our WR depth. But I really like our starters. I don't exactly understand where a 2nd round rookie fits in? Somebody through out Emmanuel Sanders coming back at a vet minimum. That might be preferabe? Unsure. But I think I wouldn't hate adding Sanders for super cheap and addressing other position groups that might actually be a prominent starter in 2023.
  10. I agree to an extent. But that changes a bit when it’s in your division. When the Chargers or Jags get better it doesn’t matter because we play them every few years.
  11. I hate to say it out loud but the Jets got a lot better tonight.
  12. It feels like it’s playing towards Hall. I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case. But it is what it is.
  13. I really want to like his suit. But it’s like he spent a ton of money to have it customized and forgot to hire a tailor.
  14. OK, who has the strongest (girthiest?) knees in the league?
  15. So, like, does 11 Josh Allen’s play 11 other Josh Allen’s or Aaron Donald’s? Or do they just play the normal Ravens or whatever?
  16. I thought the Bills had a very good chance of playing the season opener. I am glad they are. We don't lose any prep or rest time because of a west coast trip.
  17. https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/search/?&q=edmunds&type=forums_topic&quick=1&search_and_or=and&search_in=titles&sortby=newest 4/26 - Can we talk about Tremaine Edmunds 4/14 - Two Bills Drive "Draft Competition" - Prize is a Bills cap (NOTE: Zig Fracassi thinks we trade up to #7 for LB and trade Edmunds and picks to Giants) 4/8 - 2023 Extension? (Poyer/ Edmunds/Knox/Oliver) 3/18 - Trading Edmunds makes no sense at this point 3/14 - Tremaine Edmunds contract comparison 3/9 - Some guy who's been wrong before says, Edmunds to the Steelers? 3/1 - Walter Football Mock with the Hot Take on our MLB 2/26 - Would you take #4 picks in this year's draft for Lotulelei and Edmunds? We average about 1 per week. EDIT: To no surprise, you are the same person who created a thread that started with the idea that Morse was the most important position on the entire roster to upgrade this year.
  18. Good thought. In Hardy's best year he had 15 sacks and took 86% of defensive snaps. I think you definitely have to manage Miller's age and season. But I think there is something to letting premier players get a feel for the game so they can make huge plays in huge moments. Just being physically better isn't enough to beat the guy in front of you at a clutch moment. A lot of the time you beat a guy because you have been able to go to work on him every down and can pick up what he is doing and exploit them. I think that can be really difficult for some players unless they are a full standard deviation better than the guy lining up across from them. For reference Oliver lead the entire DL at 57% and Oldman- Hughes lead DE's at 51%. Nobody else was over 50%. I think it would be good for Rousseau to get to or 60%. Miller was over 70% in every game except his last in DEN and first in LAR. And he was over 80% in 8 games. Miller doesn't seem to just like to play, he feasts on it. I think on the VERY conservative end Miller gets a governor put on him at 65% of snaps.
  19. I prefer Sunday afternoon. My big guess is that I really think there’s a good chance the league opens up with BUF @ LAR. My preference is to get our furthest game out of the way so we don’t shorten a week of prep with travel to and from
  20. Right?! Honest question for @Buffalo716, what would Brady have to do at this point to be considered the hands down GOAT QB? I think this is the first season where TB takes a major step back. He has always said he will play until he sucks. I think last year, for the first time, his body started to give out in the playoffs and that was why he retired. Then he got a few weeks rest and he was feeling pretty good and felt invincible again. I don't think he will fall off a cliff like Manning. But I think he is really going to struggle to keep it together over 17 weeks and the playoffs.
  21. Longevity, health, and availability are part of being historically great. Other guys either couldn’t or wouldn’t compete well into their 40’s. Whatever the reason is isn’t super relevant. It makes them less than. If their body broke down they either didn’t have the genetics or discipline to take care of their body like TB. If their body could hold up but they wanted to spend time with their family, they just weren’t as willing as TB. It is what it is. Tom Brady is the GOAT and it isn’t close. Tom has so far passed the GOAT QB that the discussion has shifted to “is TB the greatest football player of all time?” Nobody is asking if Rodgers, Manning, or Montana are the greatest NFL player in the history of the sport.
  22. Drew Brees had 12 seasons with NO where he played at least 15 regular season games. 6 of those NO was .500 or worse. The guy is a first ballot hall of fame. It isn’t a sure thing to make the playoffs with a top 5 QB, especially when you kick the salary cap can down the road. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t take huge issue with what the Bills are doing with this window. But it shouldn’t be lost on anybody that this is also a risk going forward.
