Booth Jr played in his first ever nfl game today. But don’t let that get in the way. Also Benford had great coverage on a number of occasions. His draft status is irrelevant. He’s out played a couple first round picks this year already. Crediting Jefferson’s performance to Benford would be…incorrect. .

Jesus. Every single thread after this loss is started by somebody I’ve never seen on here before. Then all the responses just seem spammy.

I think he’s played dominant and we’ve been dominant, so he just grips too tight to “be dominant”. Then when that doesn’t go well, he presses harder to get that game, drive, play, etc. back. We’re just in a vicious circle we have to get out of. Glad this is happening now rather than December or January.

and…..? Matt Ryan and the Colts beat Mahomes too? Is Matt Ryan better? Is Kirk Cousins better than Josh? I think you know that’s not how any of this works.

I hadn’t gotten the all 22 this year until this week. The Bills were rolling and I just wanted to enjoy the season. But I re-upped this week. Saying we’re missing Beasley operates under the assumption that nobody is running crossers, slants, or anything quick/shallow. And that’s just not the case. There are guys he’s around and open and he isn’t even looking. Or he looks and throws over their head to the tough throw behind him for 20 rather pick up 6 and play the sticks.

He forced all sorts of balls last season. He just got hot at the back end of the year and the playoffs so we assumed he shook that from his ethos permanently. Fast forward to this 2022…he didn’t. (He also said for the first time in his career he took an offseason off. It may not be to blame. But after three brutal weeks it’s a worthy talking point)

That’s exactly what it is. The entire first half just felt like 1st down- hero ball 2nd down- throw behind the line of scrimmage 3rd down-hero ball 4th down- punt “oh crap, gotta make up for 3 and out on the next series”

Our last possession before Minnesota tied it up went incomplete deep to Diggs , incomplete to Diggs, incomplete to Singletary. Josh’s continuous need to try and force the ball down field is stalling drive after drive. And/or putting us in 3rd and tough situations which we can’t rely on over and over again.

Right. I didn’t mean that as a slight to Diggs. Jefferson was absurd today. I texted a buddy in overtime “great, 3rd and goal from the 15. Guaranteed Jefferson TD while triple covered”. Part of me wonder what would have happened on 3rd and 3 or 4. At least make them consider going to somebody else.

Josh is certainly talented enough. But I agree. He’s just trying too hard to be a super star rather than just be the guy that made him a super star.

The guy was a cheat code today. I do t think Minnesota would take Diggs plus another first for Jefferson right now

Until we link some more games together again, the best QB in the league is Mahomes and it isn’t close to second place.

Allen has been problem number one with the offense the last 3 weeks. Figure it out kid.

I don’t totally get all the pass catching RB’s dressing since we never do anything with them anyways… But if I had to guess it means more Shakir in the slot and Hines in the passing game. Which means a diminished role for McKenzie who has proven to be a liability in the punt return game. So Duke is up to take over.

When I saw that part of me hoped we signed TJ Yeldon to the PS just for poops and giggles.

Not to pile on Josh, but it’s been 8 bad quarters. I’d have to go back and check, but outside of the big Diggs throw I think the first half against GB we were something like 5/8 and ~35 yards.

Me and the Mrs. watched Any Given Sunday again last night. So I guess you could say I’m ready for this game.

Hap is a she. But I had the same exact thought after I tagged her and looked her up. Apparently others had the same thought this week. She is good. Just doing less mod stuff these days.

My post volume is down this year for similar reason. Also there are a lot of new people, which is cool. But sometimes I come for the conversation and updates and the front page is just a circle jerk of “How awesome is Josh?” and “I am seriously thinking of voting for Beane for POTUS” or whatever. I don’t get involved much in those kind of threads and don’t have much to offer.

No sleeve...this looks to be post practice and Josh picks up his black sleeve and promptly runs off the field. Safe to say Josh likely had a sleeve on at some point today.

I am unsure if you want me to be in charge of this unless you want to lose all of your money...There are much more experienced gamblers than myself.

Josh is a bigger, faster, modern day Favre. He is going to be spectacular more often than not. But that also means he will have the occasional clunker. Maybe Gabe is just a paper tiger, but after the last two weeks of QB play he isn't on my Schitts Creek list yet.

And what happens to this team with Josh, Milano, Poyer, Edmunds, Jackson, Jordan Poyer, Rousseau are all playing at 80% for 5, 6, or at this point 12 weeks? That isn't a formula that wins you the Super Bowl, home field advantage or not. In fact, that isn't a formula that likely even gets you home field advantage. While being cautious the team has made it to 6-2 and the number one seed in the AFC to date. We have proven that we cannot beat the Jets or the Dolphins with a banged up roster and because of the loses round 2 just got a lot more important. So get right, go 4-2 in the division, and everything will fall into place.

This is where I am at. Tre last year. Poyer this year for me. Then I have a closet full of jerseys of players who never signed a second contract in Buffalo.
