  1. The AP article implies that the beer she believes was spiked was given to her by Araiza. And that he is the one that brought her to the room to be repeatedly raped. Araiza is much more apart of the night than a separate consensual encounter.
  2. I don’t know, if somebody raped my daughter, and that guy was about to embark on an NFL career, I would certainly be flooding them (and/or asking my attorney to) information on what a POS he is. Imagine your daughter gets raped and he is on every sports show being referred to as “The Punt God”. Not to mention he is on a team like the Bills built on “culture” and “process”.
  3. The Bills are obligated to have a punter I think. Possibly too close to get somebody else in? Generally when these things happen there’s always a backup OL, DT, CB, etc.
  4. Whats the difference between knowing when they drafted him and knowing when they cut their other “capable” punter. Obviously days on the calendar. But if they knew when they cut Haack, it implies they would have drafted him anyways because they decided to keep him on the roster when they had an out. If they knew a month ago, they knew he was going to make the news at some point. The McBeane botched this one.
  5. I think league rules mandate we dress a punter. We will have him tomorrow. He likely won’t hold. And the Bills will go for it on 4th whenever possible. Then they’ll sign the best of the cuts from camp.
  6. If he isn’t released I think the Bills try and keep themselves away from punting and have Keenum/Barkley holding. He should be released. None of this is worth it. I think he should be charged with a crime. Even if innocent it’s not worth it to have him on a roster that’s trying to go to the super bowl.
  7. Bojo is on the Browns. He was the first guy I thought of.
  8. Case is still open with the police. Looks like the school sat on it for 10 months. She went to the hospital and they gave her a rape kit.
  9. Criminal case is still pending. The investigation is still open.
  10. We hear so much about the Bill Walsh "coaching tree". Fun fact, he was hired by Marv Levy at Cal. So really it is the Marv Levy coaching Tree. I agree with you. It also feels like a lot of Bills fans are circling the wagons around Bill Belichick being a bad coach now that they are mediocre without Brady. The guy had his run of greatness. He owned us for 20 years. We are a really good football team at the moment. It feels so defeatist to punch down when things are going your way. I am on to bigger and better things at the moment.
  11. I basically stopped reading here. Why copy the greatest QB (and maybe offense) of all time when they could just copy the guy that helped lose them 2 SB's (left in 91) and exited the league 25 years ago (an entire generation has passed) Cleary Marchibroda was highly influential in the Brady/McDaniels offense. But what a weird statement to make.
  12. I recently had a 3 day reddit ban for saying "I hope he tears his ACL in preseason so his suspension gets pushed off a year/when he is healthy". And here we are on TBD discussing murder. Apparently I was threatening?
  13. There is data on this. Sexual predators tend to be "the worst humans" when it comes to rehabilitation. Murderers, thieves, drug dealers, all have significantly better rehabilitation rates than rapists and pedophiles at scale.
  14. So, is the Browns fine/donation basically just so they can skip the part where they have to roll doubles, and they can get out of jail early? Also, what are they being fined for? The league is just pissed that they traded for and gave him such a bonkers contract?
  15. And I don't think there are reports of Elam being bad. A lot of talks of him flashing during camp. But to your point I get the sense that Benford is probably playing faster and more instinctual at the moment, and Elam is thinking a bit even though he is faster. The Bills need a physical press man corner even though we play zone. I was thinking the other day that this would be a great situation for a young team trying to build. We are pretty luck that by the time the snow starts falling both these guys are going to be CB3 and CB4 outside.
  16. No not like Lance or any other cyclist. They are endurance athletes. What Lance did has little use case for an NFL player.
  17. This!!!! I am in a group text that basically sharpened their pitch forks with the idea that he was just being on overprivileged brat. My take was the same as yours. When it comes to football TB12 is full on Mamba mentality. If he is taking time away it is because there is A. something actually wrong with him and/or his family or B. he is seriously considering hanging it up.
  18. What? No. I get your first part, he is constantly wrapped up in some sort of -gate. But Brady is not "obviously juicing". The way Brady treats his body is really similar to a lot of elite athletes in lots of other sports. Football is just a sport for ogre's and as such are decades behind in sports physiology compared to other nations/athletic pursuits.
  19. If he can figure out how max hangtime or good accuracy, he is a really dangerous weapon. The ability to flip the field 180 degrees when pinned inside your own 20 is basically a cheat code. 3 and out at your own 15? NBD, opponent starts their drive at their own 19.
  20. If Josh Allen's arm were a leg, the punter would be Matt Araiza. I think we are going to have to deal with some really erratic moments while he figures out how to control the thing. We will get some wow punts for sure. I am sure we run into some issues where he out kicks his coverage and there is a dangerous return.
  21. Good post. Hadn't seen this yet. When I saw the rookie secondary pop up I thought the second shout out was going to the Shakir/Hodgins tandem. Combined 14 catches and 169 yards. Those two had a day.
  22. I’m not any Jimmy G truther. But isn’t the timeline that they gave him his contract in 2019. He goes on IR midway through 2020. Then they gave up a bunch of picks to draft his replacement in 2021? To say they just paid him and he suddenly went dark feels disingenuous.
  23. Trent was the 92nd overall pick. 3rd rounder. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/draft.htm
