  1. As of right now Jackson is the best active corner on the team. It is certainly closer than it was to start the season, but I still think he is better by some margin. That could change as the season progresses, but that's how I see it at the moment.
  2. They don't neeeed to do anything other than what they want to do regarding their personal health information. I don't think they are required to make any additional information available. Do I wish they they would? Sure? But ultimately I just wish the Pegula's the best. But I also really dislike the shamming of people who are just asking what is going on or inquiring about an update. I can't imagine a world where my mom is sick, or hurt, or whatever, and coworkers or neighbors ask each other if they have heard any updates, and I am offended. Stop belittling people for something so innocuous. Now to get off that soap box and onto another. Jesus dude. What a weird time to talk about how important Kim is or isn't the PSE. You suck!
  3. Your mom is the only person I know who can hold up to an NFL pounding.
  4. This is sort of my thought. With everything we have seen from Tua in his last two games this seems quick.
  5. The OL response is the best. Miller: "Yo man, what are you doing?" OL: "I DON"T KNOW!!!!"
  6. Beasley certainly had some issues last year. But Daboll used to love the curl and comeback routes which doesn't help. Diggs is also our leading receiver and isn't a particularly huge threat for YAC either.
  7. Honest question, what were we before the Pittsburgh game? Davis is last week alone has got to be like 20% of our YAC
  8. The one thing that I don't love about the OBJ rumors is that I think this staff wants to stick with the guys that got them there at this point. 6 weeks ago I doubt they wanted anything to do with OBJ and were happy with the WR position. Now we lose Crowder, Kumerow, McKenzie, and a hobbled Davis, there is probably some more fear heading into the offseason. As long as OBJ (or any other WR) can come in and know that their place is basically a rotational WR4 I am all for it. I do like the idea of being able to move Diggs inside and have OBJ and Davis on the outside in certain situations.
  9. I mentioned this earlier in the season, but the dude is always hyping everybody up. And I don't mean in like a WWE kinda way. I think he means it. When Cook fumbles, what he see's in Rousseau, when he talks to Morris after the fumble. The dude believes every one of his teammates can be great. I sort of find it the opposite of Diggs who won't call rookies by their name (only their number) and has an old school sort of hazing attitude. Even if you take out his ability to get after the QB, Von is such a major presence on this roster.
  10. Just ignore him. He keeps parroting they “what-about-isms” from last year. He conveniently leaves out the fact that the Bills lost to the number one seed Titans. Right now it is Buffalo and KC a mile ahead of the AFC. Until that changes this game is for all the marbles.
  11. I think I am going to take Buffalo -9.5 this week. But will likely wait to see a more definitive injury report and add in some parlays for some spice.
  12. That’s the conclusion I came to after the Dolphins game. Lost by 2 in some super weird weather and down 12 starters on the road. Nothing matters other than being 100% or as close as we can come to it in January/February.
  13. I think Heineke and Tyrod are both tweeners between being a low end starter and good back up. Heineke had a great season stepping in off the bench last year. Both are also pretty mobile and keeps a little bit of that wrinkle in the offense. I would feel OK with both those guys coming in for a 5 game stretch and being able to hand the reigns back over to Josh at 3-2. Honestly, I forgot Keenum existed when I was thinking about QB2 in Buffalo which isn't a great endorsement. He would have likely been 6-7 had I put together a QB2 wish list. That is still pretty good in terms of backup QB's, but not what I was hoping for.
  14. I believe that in a jump ball scenario the league rules in favor of the offense. That is just people complaining without knowing the rules. https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-video-rulebook/completing-a-catch/#:~:text=If a pass is caught, opponent subsequently gains joint control.
  15. So at first I rolled my eyes at this because of the size of his contract going forward. If the reports are true that he only has $1M guarenteed on the remainder of his contract, this is an easy trade to make. I would generally prefer Barkley, but have no interest in his new contract.
  16. I mean....isn't there a world where he misses the entire year now with the knee surgery popping up? Is the expectation they go 1-16 if that happens? Why not figure out what you have in Pickens, let your best player get to 100% for next season. I don't see the value in getting him back this year for what might be just a few weeks. They won't lose 16 games and if Pickens isn't the guy you want to know ASAP.
  17. Home field doesn’t get 3 points anymore. It’s right around 1.5 depending on the match up. This is basically a pick ‘em game.
  18. Tyrod and Heineke were my two offseason QB2 hopefuls.
  19. I said today might be a good day to take Pittsburgh to cover….
  20. Good for Pickett getting in there after taking a brutal but legal shot to the knee. I can’t believe Pittsburgh had their rookie QB throw 50 times against the best defense in the league on his first outing.
  21. I feel like the recipe for success does not involve your rookie QB throwing the ball 50+ times against the best defense in the league on his very first outing.
