  1. Shady is just wrong on a lot of the Philly stuff. He is a homer at the end of the day. He talks about the roster and the defenses. Run defense specifically. But Buffalo has the overall advantage on Philly in nearly every category but their run game. Everybody was quick to say Philly has the better roster....but do they? Not to mention that the Bills went through the SB champs, the no 1. seed in the AFC, and Patrick Mahomes to get here. Meanwhile Philly has run the gauntlet of some of the worst teams in the league. Rush Def:Advantage Buffalo Buffalo: 3.5 YPC - 452 yards - 4 TD Philly: 5 YPC - 659 yards - 6 TD Pass Def: Advantage Buffalo, less scoring more INTs Buffalo: 1232 yards - 5TD - 10 INT - 19 Sacks Philly: 1129 yards - 7TD - 9 INT- 17 Sacks Pass Off: hahahahaha Buffalo: 1988 yards - 17 TD - 4 INT Philly: 1502 - 6TD - 2 INT Rush Off: Philly Buffalo: 707 yards - 4.8 YPC - 3 TD - 6 Fumbles Philly: 936 yards - 4.3 YPC - 13 TD - 3 Fumbles
  2. With a 17th game and averaging 330 yards 6 games (but 21 quarters), I would be shocked if he didn't break 5000 yards. Right now his PYPG is on pace to have the ~5th best season ever.
  3. Shady grew up like 30 minutes from Philly. He is a Philly kid who grew up to play on his childhood team. Of course he identifies as an Eagle.
  4. I agree with this. Jalen has been a play maker, but the guy only has like 6 passing TD's. Until he proves to be able to slice and dice, I take Buffalo all day everyday and think they are ranked over their record. Their schedule has been easy, and the rest of their season is a relative joke. They are likely about as good as the last few Titans and/or Colts teams.
  5. I’ve really liked the how embarrassing the whole Russ contract has been for Denver. I know it’s likely in our best interest for Denver to win this one. But still, I like the embaRUSSment.
  6. One hand washes the other. Allen needed Daboll early. Then Allen covered up some inadequacies in play calling later in his tenure.
  7. A charter company won’t do that. It’s against the law, a huge fine, and the driver can lose his entire career. I once did Dallas to San Diego for work with a 40’ trailer in 18 hours. That was wild. Watching the sun come up driving through NM was one of the most gorgeous things I’ve seen in my entire life. What an underrated area of the country. West Texas is trash though.
  8. Right. The driver needs 8 hours in between. So that works. A lot to the time they’ll pull over at a rest stop and there’s a guy waiting to take over in say Indy. That guy will do Indy to KC and back to Indy the next day. Switch again. I’ve never seen them ride together. I thought for sure the Bills would have had him go straight through. But that’s a long day in the car for a guy that’s gotta play a day later. So I get why they’d have him stop too.
  9. A few things: 1. Both kickers and punters are nothing short of remarkable these days. Guys are absolutely booming FG’s and punts. 2. I think there is something to practicing. Unsure if it’s points scored because I think there is a lot of sloppy football these days which can creat high and low scoring games. But I don’t think it’s a with/without pads issue. I think it’s pure quantity of practice time. Guys are basically forbidden from team facilities for huge portions of the calendar year. I’m the next CBA I’d be willing to halve the total padded practices to get these guys back in team facilities 30-40 hours per week starting May 1. Even 4 x 6 hour days starting then would be huge for the game. No reason these guys can’t be running plays in shorts, doing drills, working with trainers, lifting weights, and watching film together.
  10. I think it’s DJ to start. I think Elam and Tre give us the ability to play a lot more man and I expect a healthy increase in snap count as we moved forward.
  11. It’s two drivers. The DOT won’t let one driver make that entire trip, they’ll have to switch. The Bills likely have a contract with a charter company already. It’s just a matter of the charter company having an available vehicle or the Bills renting a van for 3-4 days. Actually not that crazy.
  12. I don't think so. Hurts hasn't proven to be a strong enough passer. Their defense has been tremendous. But as a complete team I think they fall short. They sort of remind of a more athletic Colts team from the past few years.
  13. I still think DJ is the better overall player right now. But I think as Tre gets to 100% we start to see a healthy dose of more man coverage with Jackson on the sideline.
  14. Totally agreed. Somebody texted me how many holding calls the refs were missing on KC. My response was basically “cool, now rewind the Bills plays too”. That Dawkins hold was wild though. I think it went beyond a “everybody was holding” and was full in flagrant. He just straight up grabbed his dude by the back of the jersey while he had half a stride on him.
  15. That’s my exact thought as well. Mahomes certainly has a different style than Allen and so much of his mobility is behind the line of scrimmage that it creates some of those defensive holding calls. I was really frustrated that we kept giving up 3rd and long over and over again. I thought Hamlin and McKenzie were worse for the Bills today than any ref which also keeps me a little quieter about it.
  16. Refs weren’t good tonight. I can’t believe the replay that was showed on the Neal DH call in the first half of Kelce was the right replay. That was nothing. I thought Elams call was a bit light but he did do enough to turn the WR hips over. That said, it was either 2nd or 3rd and 10 on the final game winning drive and Dawkins had a blatant hold that wasn’t called and allowed us to convert. Also 15 yards for a BS taunting call saved the Bills. I won’t complain too much.
  17. Precludes you from flying but allows you to play real life NFL football…
  18. Wasn’t the super obvious hold from Dawkins on 3rd and 10 conversation on the game winning drive? The refs weren’t good tonight, but they seemed to cancel each other out.
  19. I have some friends ranting about the refs. I’m certainly upset there’s were so many influential/bad calls. But I think the Bills benefitted as much as they were hurt by it.
  20. I am shocked he didn’t get yanked. McD normally sits guys down for less. Not to mention Shakir more than flashed last week.
  21. I was floored that McKenzie didn’t get benched. I’m not necessarily here to criticize. But McD has been known to sit you down after a critical turnover or mistake and McKenzie made a couple.
  22. I didn’t realize Bleacher Bar was a Bills Backer Bar? I used to go to Boston for work for weeks at a time sometimes and have hung out at Bleacher bar a bunch. If you haven’t been before it’s literally inside Fenway. Like it is in the Green Monster. I can’t imagine it’s a rowdy Bills bar. Imagine Key Bank Center being a Patriots bar. TLDR; Harp all day everyday.
  23. I assumed the billdo was Brady specific
  24. I am sorta with you. I’m not as high as others are on Brown. I like the guy and what he brings to the roster and the OL as a person/teammate. I like how physical he is. But ultimately I think he’s just been OK to date. That said he’s still a young guy with immense measurables. I certainly haven’t written him off. I think Morse is our best OL by some margin, which is a bummer because he’s one more cracked egg from an omelette. I mentioned it this past offseason, if the Bills love a LT in the draft I think they should take it, and move Dawkins inside. His contract is not absurd for OG these days. He’s a good but not great LT, if the Bills love a rookie there is a world where they can immediately upgrade of LT and LG with one draft pick.
