I am not referring to their desks. I mean when they talk about when they talk about the Bills vs. Jets and both of their logos are put on screen. Or when Rodgers comes on on a Tuesday and the screen shows his name and a Packers helmet in the corner as a graphic. I am under the impression that NFL logos cannot be used in these instances on the PMS. Also, why after week 8 of this year? It doesn't make sense.

When young people die without a listed cause of death a lot of the time it is a mental health issue. For his family and friends, I hope this isn't the case. For the guys in the Bengals locker room, I hope this isn't the case either. It has got to be a tough spot to only put up 13 points and then have something like this happen internally. What a sad situation for everybody involved.

Wait, when you watch replays of the talking heads on the ESPN app, they remove the actual highlights from the show? I didn't realize. But that one actually makes a lot more sense to me than what it sounds like what is going on here. They basically have a one time use, or live only license.

Just to be clear, the base of my understanding of what is happening here is that if a network wants to show a Bills helmet next to a Jets helmet this week, it will cost them more than $4M. That seems wild. I really think this is the NFL trying to squeeze McAfee and not the PMS actually violating the terms of their licensing agreement. The guy has a $120M FanDuel contract. I bet a letter was out the door before his show even aired yesterday.

I am a similar age to Zimmer. It really feels like that lately. Pandemic aside. It feels like every couple of weeks it is a friends brother, or a guy I went to high school with, or a co-worker, or their partner. It is really wild.

The Bills have 24 players with expiring contracts this offseason. $9.5M for Hockenson after paying $15M for Knox would be an absolute luxury spend. Borderline irresponsible. Adding on that we would give up cap space AND draft picks. I understand the cap can be manipulated, but I would rather take a day two TE on draft day and put $9.5M into Davis, Poyer, Morse, Ike, Edmunds or Jackson, etc.

I don't think that is an issue. As we have seen this year Morris and Gilliam are big capable pass catchers. Sure, Sweeney is the back up for Knox, but situationally Morris and Gilliam will be the go-to's.

Just for reference this was in the context of you defending another poster who was pushing for higher ticket prices/PSL's to weed out the undesirable behavior.

The Fan Duel contact was signed nearly a year ago.... The NFL sent a letter the last few days. I wouldn't be shocked if there is a consumer protection issue here. Imagine Microsoft telling me I have to pay extra for spellcheck mid-cycle even though I paid for the license for a year. I can't imagine that the licensing agreement runs from week 8 to week 8 from year to year. McAfee is big enough not to get pushed around on this and likely will have, or already has, attorneys sending a letter to the league. Look for team logos to be reinstated in relatively short order.

This felt like the TB/Patriots years, but the script was flipper. It didn’t matter what GB did. Really long sustained drives. Commit to the run. Win the turnover battle. Force Allen into mistakes. Rattle Diggs. GB was never able to get into the game.

Let me start by saying that the D didn’t play great or even good. They especially struggled on outside runs and screens. But I do think the offense holds some of the blame. They just couldn’t ice the game and force the Packers to try and throw the ball more. I think Allen knew it and that’s why he was forcing too many balls. Ultimately the Bills committed to not letting Rodgers get rolling. Sort of the inverse of not letting Lamar get going on the ground.

I think this was sorta part of the issue with the offense. Allen felt like he was white knuckling for one more big TD so he could sit and GB would have to start thinking about abandoning the run.

All I know is that about 20 more passing yards to Davis last night would have won me a lot of money.

Don't get me wrong. I love me some Diggs. But.... Von Miller feels like one of the most nice and genuine humans on the planet, let alone on the football team. Diggs is just chirping and poking all the time. Not loving it lately. Seems a bit more disruptive and less cocky trash talk/fun banter these days. Unsure if it has actually changed or if it is just the contrast between the two.

Hyde may be fine next year and be back in form. But he also might night. It is a risk to assume he comes back the same player and a rookie/Johnson is up to the task. We are certainly spoiled at the moment.

This^^^^ Poyer is an all-pro, but I have not been impressed by our backups. I expected more from two guys who have been on our roster for a long time.

I think Poyer has found way more worth this season and really puts the Bills in a rough spot. Hamlin seems only serviceable when he plays with Poyer next to him and strong play literally everywhere else. I have been really underwhelmed with safety play when Hamlin and Johnson are playing together. The Bills have to re-sign Poyer or really hit on the safety position in the draft. The Bills could be vulnerable at both safety positions next year with Hyde coming off season ending injury.

WTF are you talking about? The Bills defense have long been praised for their constant disguise of what they are showing vs. what they are playing?

It just felt like he was pressing too hard in the second half to put the game away. Like "let me get one more in the end zone real quick so I can take a seat on the bench for the rest of the night".

You can get away with being a piece of Schitts Creek to people if you are the best at what you do. Brady is becoming more insufferable at about the same rate that his body is declining; a deadly combination for any organization/career.

I am/was a big McKenzie fan coming into this season but he really frustrated me in the last outing. He has been moderately productive for us.

Ok, I’ll credit Knox with the rampant success of our run game…

The board would go nuts if we lost Davis but spent $15M on Knox.
