  1. I wouldn’t be shocked if some of the run D issues are partially because vets like Taron and Poyer are a half step slower to react given they have to cover for some of the rookies/backups at safety and CB. Then add on the fact that there are actual backups and rookies playing. Also…Edmunds.
  2. Josh threw a terrible screen to McKenzie in the second half. We were lucky to get out of that without a huge loss. I am not a huge footwork guy. But it looks like Josh’s drop back has been a lot wider/longer the last two weeks. Same with his base when he throws. Wasn’t that something he worked on his first two years as a rookie? Looks like it might be back.
  3. He seems to be overly reliant on Diggs. Last drive/injury aside, better QB play likely wins this game for Buffalo. Those INTs we’re head scratchers. Khalil was open, why even think about that Diggs throw.
  4. I have been super frustrated with Elam the last few weeks. Dane struggled late too (who I’ve been high on). I don’t want anything to do with Jaquan Johonson. I don’t get why anybody was ever high on him. The Bills have a big question mark here next season. I’ll have to rewatch the game to see WTF happened to the run defense. We were all so high on Settle, Jones, etc. It felt like Edmunds was playing better. Earlier in the year I thought missing Poyer/Hyde really hit our play recognition. But I don’t get why it’s getting so much worse.
  5. Benford didn’t turn around in the end zone earlier. I thought that might get spotted on the goal line.
  6. Diggs had two decent days the last two weeks, but Davis has drawn CB1 the last two weeks and our offense has really stalled. I like Diggs, but I don’t think he’s as dangerous with the ball in his hands. Curious if teams are letting Diggs get his yards and taking awar Davis on purpose.
  7. On the Josh incomplete a play or two later we committed an obvious holding that went uncalled. My thought is, if you suck like we sucked today, you lose your right to say “well that one holding call was trash” We allowed 94 yards rushing on the final drive. Allen was outright bad today…but that holding call though? Hard pass on that conversation.
  8. A couple of things I would have liked to go our way. But ultimately the Jets were the better team today at nearly every position. I won’t complain about anything other than us sucking today.
  9. My only point of correction is that I actually think Ken Dorsey is better than “we haven’t skipped a beat”. I think Dorsey has been a better OC/Play caller for Allen and Co. than Daboll was. I hope Buffalo pays Dorsey enough to not want to leave in the near future.
  10. I don’t know how much OBJ has left in the tank or how productive he’ll be in the playoffs for anybody. But, there’s a scenario where he is super productive for somebody. If he signs a one-two year deal it will be with either KC, BUF, or PHI. I think it’s worth spending a couple bucks just to hedge our bets that we don’t have to deal with a productive OBJ on any of the other two rosters come January/February. If he signs a big money long term deal coming off of his 2nd ACL injury, I am sure Jerry Jones will be the one to give it to him.
  11. Im glad we have the Jets to get help get Tre warmed up and let a couple of guys rest up some injuries. Frustrating, every week we seem to be playing injured at key positions.
  12. Really disappointed this wasn’t Kenny Loggins. But even if it was, it still wouldn’t make this one good.
  13. …and get this…. Labatt lost Josh as a sponsor this year. Guess who picked him up? Corona what’s OBJ drinking here? Corona!
  14. 3 receptions for 18 yards and 4 carry’s for 10 yards. One group of people will say “what a loser, terrible trade. Beanie is a wiener. This is getting in the way of James Cook getting fitted for his gold jacket” Another group will say “You can just see the ability. He flashes. He just needs more time. I knew Josh Allen would be great so my football IQ”…. But they’ll leave out the fact that they’re a fan of every Bills move ever made…until it fails. At which point they will tell you that one day they gave up on EJ Manuel (after being a huge fan), so their football IQ is really high and they know what they’re talking about.
  15. Hill is having a remarkable season and is a major NFL talent. Still wouldn’t trade Diggs for Hill straight up. Hill is too small/not physical enough to care about all that much. Sure when you have Mahomes and Kelce, Hill becomes a nightmare. But as good as Tua has been, he isn’t Allen/Mahomes and Gisecki isn’t Kelce, so letting Hill get his yards doesn’t mean he’s taking over a game. Also Hill is a dirtbag.
  16. They will have a shot as long as Josh is Josh. Some years their odds will be better than others no different than the Saints, Pats, Colts etc of old.
  17. Anybody notice how often Al Michaels says “Big gaping hole”? Every week, multiple times per game. He’s got to be trolling, right?
  18. MAJ is going to blow his lid when he realizes the NFL lost the Cold War.
  19. Hey, Blackshear has 4 carries for -4 yards in Carolina. So maybe you start using some respect when you talk about Blackshear. OK?
  20. I think the only way the Giants thing works is if it is a multi-year deal that is higher than his current market value (which I assume is low right now) I don’t see a world where Buffalo does anything but a cheap contract for 2022 with a slight chance to stick around one more year for 2023 to make a run at one last huge payday. Maybe something with a “decent bonus” knowing he might not be able to really contribute in 2022 in exchange for a full year in 2023? Just spit balling on how I could see a (unlikely) 2 year deal from Buffalo.
  21. Not to mention that this is coming in week 8 or 9 and the guy has been running his show for how long? Feels like a money grab for the league.
  22. I don’t know what the problem is here. We see Josh pleading with the refs all the time. He’s really physically animated about it too. Brady yells a lot, but Allen gets a whole lot of arm waiving involved. As far as flopping, Allen did an interview with Simms talking about how he’ll hold the ball longer just to draw a roughing the passer call. It is what it is. I wouldn’t get upset over it.
  23. I am not predicting anything or even freaking out. I just said I would not be floored if he is thinking about it.
  24. It is nothing crazy. I had a pretty similar experience to Tre is having but at the Olympic Training Center. I certainly feel for the guy.
  25. I don't know why this is even a topic at this point. I was big on the "ride the horse that brought you" train early in the season. But we have been so pass happy, but inconsistent in the slot I don't know why you wouldn't. The contract will likely be super cheap and for a couple of months. There is nothing to lose by doing it.
