  1. I was just in Cincinnati for work a month or two ago. Downtown is actually pretty cool. There are a bunch of skyline chilis. If you don’t have any, don’t worry about it. And if you do, don’t worry about it.
  2. It’s not the one exchange it’s all 3. - You greedy SOB - Tight ends better calm down. I gotta get my bag - I wanted that ball you’re lucky I cleared all those guys out for you. I wanted it. All alone are fine. But to get all three with a bunch of weeks with him notably being PO’d is non-preferable.
  3. Don't worry about it. Jerry is just yelling at clouds until he tires himself out. He will go down for his nap shortly.
  4. Nicknames are born not made.
  5. And women were cheerleaders. Amirite Jerry?
  6. You mean Jerry Sulli…eh em…SUNY Amherst? Couldn’t be!
  7. Hi again Jerry, You silly goose!!! Aren’t you the one with the time on your hands though? You know who doesn’t have a lot of time on their hands though? Women. Because of all the cheerleading, and woman things, and what not.
  8. Hi again Jerry, I don’t see any reason to move the game or time as long as planes can get in and out safely. I suspect the league feels the same. That is precisely something that Jerry Sullivan would say. Thanks again for joining us Jerry. Enjoy your extra time with your family around the holidays. Hope your wife and daughter don’t drive you too crazy. Women, amirite?
  9. Jerry, nice of us to join you will all your new spare time. The issue isn't that the game can't be played in the cold. It is that the airports might be closed and there may be a travel ban. If the team can get in they will play. You wouldn't move it to Detroit because they are in the same lake effect ban. Moving to Cincinatti actually makes some sense. They are 4.5 hours down the road and playing out of town this weekend. Indy could work too. They don't play until Monday, but you have to flip the stadium on Christmas day, which sucks.
  10. The driving forces of this thread are LAMP that fit in an existing thread, beer/weed, and posters who say "we aren't good at this today" and another poster who comes back 3-4 months later to go "see you are wrong now". The Bills had an issues winning close games. Now we win a lot of close games. This is good. EDIT: I am 100% not defending the constant "This team blows" and "We are total fakes and choke artistists" posts.
  11. Cincinnati is @NE this week and looks to be on the outside of the storm. I vote to move the game there to prepare for next week…..errr, out of an abundance of caution.
  12. We knew of Morse' price tag, concussion history, and our own cap situation. I have been confused the last two offseasons that we made no effort to get somebody in house as a future replacement. For him and his families sake I hope he hangs them up.
  13. I don't think anybody wants to seriously do anything. I believe if we were to put in a waiver claim we have to put him right on the 53. I have no interest in doing that and I doubt anybody else does either. But if he clears waivers, I wouldn't be opposed to putting him on the practice squad. But our WR group right now is Diggs, Davis, Mckenzie (current whipping boy), Beasley (out of retirement), Shakir, and Brown (out of retirement). We could use some help.
  14. I have always sort of assumed that Gentry was a Josh Allen favor. I think they were college roommates and their wives are really good friends. There was some hope early on that bringing him in could help Allen develop some timing and confidence early on by recreating their college connection. But other than that there is nothing NFL worthy about Tanner Gentry and when he is done in Buffalo his career is likely over.
  15. If he clears waivers he is worth a look on the PS. Half our WR room was sitting at home 3 weeks ago, so it isn't super crazy to think about.
  16. This is absolutely insane. The rule is that McLaurin was to line up at the centers belt line. Hussey specifically says that, but also says that the ball was snapped at the half yard line and McLaurin was a yard back. Starting OC for the Commanders is Wes Schweitzer, listed as 6'5. his belt line would then be approximately at 1 yard back, right? Jesus.
  17. This is something I hope the McBeane and staff internalize over the offseason. We are having issues with some drops and slot receiver, and to go this far into the season with somebody "not getting an opportunity here" is a big whiff. That includes not even attempting to target Knox. I have been shocked that Shakir hasn't been given a legitimate shot either. This staff takes forever to extract value from rookie contracts in favor of vets. Cook, Elam, Oliver, etc. We are quick to give a pass to everybody because Allen is a stud, winning record, etc. But it is an issue that needs addressing.
  18. I think the Bengals will be a problem. Buffalo and KC aren’t firing on all cylinders and the Bengals are hitting a great stride just before the playoffs. Allen looked more like Allen this week though. If we get Josh rolling all bets are off.
  19. I appreciate Collinsworths commentary here. So often they’re quick to sort of move past a bad call. At least he’s like “100% pass interference. Missed call. You can’t do that”
  20. Right? The dude checked with the line judge. I don’t get it. WR: We good? Line Judge: We good. Ref: Illegal formation
  21. I find this hilarious for all of the reasons. I have so many questions. Starting with, “but why?” Also, interesting that this is all based on Brady playing for NE. This was certainly filmed and released while he’s been the QB of the Bucs. There’s been some rumors in Boston sports that Brady is going to come back this offseason for one more go and retire at Patriot. I sort of thought that was dumb, but maybe…. One thing is clear; I don’t know anything.
  22. With this new QB sneak I’m curious if we start to see something like a tight end take the snap with a huge fullback plow him from behind.
  23. You are only allowed three call ups. Hodgins was called up 3 times. At that point he is no longer a practice squad player and cannot be protected. At that point the Bills can either subject him to waivers or sign him immediately to the 53. If he were to clear waivers I assume he could be protected. But this is still a weird spot for Buffalo because another call up would be his 4th one of the season, which means the only way he could get called up would be to sign him to the 53. It didn’t make sense to submit Hodgins to waivers and protect him. Even putting him on the PS seemed odd because Davis was still nursing a foot/ankle issue and we only had 3 or 4 healthy WR. We have signed two guys off of their couches, we weren’t healthy and didn’t have numbers at WR. It didn’t make any sense at the time only to be made worse by a Kumerow injury the very next week.
