1/15/2023 Wildcard Weekend - Dolphins @ Bills - Post Game Thread
Mango replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought it was the insistence on 40 yard incompletions over and over again. -

I have two parlays this weekend. One was all the games, and what I thought would happen. It wasn’t JAX over LAC. Bht the other is what I wish would happen in the AFC. FanDuel is letting me cash out for $0.77. I’m letting in ride. Haha -

I thought I’d wait until half to switch to the Sabres game. But a TD here and I might switch immediately. -

Sweet. I took LAC to cover. 😂 -
I can take a stab. My faith has swing like a pendulum over my life from being raised Protestant. to times if atheism, I think I’ve ultimately settled on the idea that good vibes are good, and the universe reacts to them. But to answer your question. Who cares? What if I am a genuinely good person, who tries to do right by friends, family, and strangers, but didn’t believe in the correct version of God? And the belief part was the only thing separating me for walking through the pearly gates vs eternally damnation? Then being a good person with good moral and intentions was never that important to that god anyways and heaven likely sucks. . Just trying to participate not argue, so hopefully I don’t come across as such.

So the Tua thing is a disaster. But I really think this is way more a league issue than a McDaniels issue. The entire concussion (and injury) protocol is basically “well a doctor said I could” then going going and doing stuff our doctor would never allow. The entire system is flawed. McDaniels is just the biggest and best example at the moment.

I’m always a little taken a back by the evangelism in the NFL. I mean I get it given how deeply rooted the sport is through the Bible Belt. I guess I am always surprised at how much room isn’t left in the NFL (and it’s fans) for other versions of faith and spirituality.

Why would they? He has 2 catches for us for a total of 18 yards and a 3rd down drop against a CIN game we didn't finish. He has been unemployed all year and provided zero production to either team he has been on. Beasley on the 53 and playing on game days is a favor to JA17 per his request. Not because he is a meaningful piece of this offense.

Florio: Brady to the Dolphins "Definitely on the Table"

You're welcome. Both her IG and website have her claim to fame as being perfectly proportional. https://www.instagram.com/veronikarajek/?utm_source=ig_embed&ig_rid=47fe04d4-bdaa-4c85-b060-f93557a2604c -

I am tempted to agree with you, but an entire generation has been born and become legal drinking age since he came to the league. He has retired and un-retired. Left his wife. His new GF is a 26 year old smoke show. This could be his midlife crisis. He might make a go of it. Left his wife, got the girlfriend, football could be his Harley? -

This would be NFL like, but Tua in the NHL would likely be out an entire season. Rather than move on from Tua, the Dolphins could sit him for a season behind Brady and start him again on his 5th year deal, basically playing for an extension. Rodgers needing to be traded makes that a bit more difficult with his contract. Won't happen, but they could make something like that work if they were creative -

We have struggled with McDaniels and Tua this year. If Brady has anything left in the tank I hope he doesn't use it in Miami. -
I don't like he made the plane de-board. Not cool dude. Just put your seatbelt on and/or get off the plane. Not hard. The no pants thing was weird. He was wearing sweatpants. I sometimes fly in sweatpants and shorts because planes are sometimes either super hot or super cold. So that is where my mind first went. The flight attendant first said shorts then corrected himself to say underwear. I don't think letting him fly was ultimately a big deal. But don't eff with airline employees. There aren't just rules on the planes, it is federal law.

You are almost 2 months behind.

Von Miller says he keeps everything these days. I don’t know man, they guy loves football, and he’ll want to look back and be proud of how good he was at it. Maybe not comparatively to other guards in the NFL, but football has treated him well. Why not have a jersey and helmet from each team you play for?

Do you think CBS will pull Romo and Nantz off Bills-Fins?
Mango replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just found the thread hilarious. The front page is just full of different versions of the same answer over and over. -

Unsure if it was mentioned. But this is the only CBS game. CBS doesn’t have any other games. Since there isn’t another game to put Romo/Nantz on, they’re going to stay on this one. No game is available for CBS to swap; this is their sole broadcast. -
Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start
Mango replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
It isn't so much being afraid of Tua. Miami has just been a very tough out for us this year and the healthier their roster is, the more difficult it becomes. Everything is basically sudden death at the moment. Happy to see as many players miss a football game against us as possible at this point in the season. -

That is also my guess. At the very least they want Teddy, and they're holding out hope.
