  1. Seems that people aren't ready to realize the offense for the Chiefs is gonna go freakin 07 Pats bonkers. Not only will they get Rashee Rice back to go along with Hollywood Brown and Worthy, but they're gonna solve their LT problem and have enough cap space to sign someone like Tee Higgins.
  2. To me the final 4th down play was the straw that broke the camels back. Much more important was that ***** 4th down play, and a whole bunch of plays the Chiefs had on offense. That's what made the Bills lose. Not a single 4th down play where Spags pushed all his marbles into a single blitz (which is kinda insane honestly, if the Bills had the right personnel and play, that's a ***** TD)
  3. There's no good reason the Bills had for predicting this. Spagnula did the equivelent of sacrificing his own Queen for this to work in the end.
  4. There is literally no way Josh could have flipped hips INTO free rushers and made that play to Shakir - especially when Shakir wasn't the 1st or maybe even 2nd read. There wasn't a hot route available to Josh on the play because it was on the WRONG SIDE. They tricked Allen into shifting his protection left because all seaosn and even all game they showed simulated pressure from one side while bringing pressure from the other. And keep in mind Allen was sacked just once, they weren't really getting to him, so Spags INTENTIONALLY sacfrificed pressure and maybe even points just in case so had this blitz available to him.
  5. Do people not watch football outside of the Bills? What Cyrus was talking about happens all the time. Heck we probably did it to the Chiefs during the game itself. We had played where Brady set up and eventually outschemed Spags. The problem here is that Spagnulo managed to trick Josh Allen on a high leverage play, and you just give credit to Spags for that. Like how the hell are you supposed to predict that the Chiefs will do something they hadn't done all season for the most part? And what's not said here is that the Chiefs have better players on offense than the Bills do on defense, and if you want to keep attacking Brady just remember that the Bills put up 29 points on an elite defense while the defense forced exactly 0 3 and outs, 2 punts, and one lucky turnover where Mahomes literally just dropped it.
  6. If he does take a job elsewhere, heard a little bit of noise around Chip Kelly
  7. And how rare they are
  8. Which is why neither player nor team trainer is in charge of clearing someone from concussion protocol
  9. You want to play Ras Douglas, Benford, Hamlin, Rapp, the rookie safety, and Taron Johnson in an aggressive man scheme similar to the Chiefs? None of whom run unnder a 4.6? Well I guess Johnson might be a 4.5 guy. More importnalty we played a lot of matchup zone, where we aligned zone, but once a player went into that zone, the DB then played him in a way that looked like man. You can do that when you had a healthy Tre White and Christian Benford as the team did heading into last season. Quite simply Damar Hamlin does not have the range to play deep safety in this league, and he was forced into that spot because of Rapp's injury. Hamlin can play box safety in this league. But not deep.
  10. But are we not just tradining opinions here? I unhder stand your frustrated, but don't understand why you're taking them out on me? I try my best to not be sensationalist or super reactive. I occasionally fail. but I honestly wasn't going for that here. I tried my best to be objective of what was lacking on that side of the ball. It's what we've seen all season No one plays a true 4-3 any longer.
  11. Scheme is built around available resources. I think in a few months people will realize McDermott and Babich very much over achieved with this particular group.
  12. I have not looked at the Free Agent market yet. I have a bit of a sense of the draft. As for Groot....Clowney recently signed a 3 year 20M contract. Groot will exceed that by a signifcant margin
  13. I;d like to see him at Milano's Will spot literally everyone in the AFC has lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs for every year except one since what, 2019 playoffs? So does that mean EVERYONE is average?
  14. This is where I'm at I'm not a GM. I'm a fan who's been watching ball for a long time, and who's good at analysis. That's literally the entirely of my credentials when it comes to this. I mean we're on a msg board for fans, so I'd like to think it's ok to speculate on how to improve a defense that just got torched due to lack of talent
  15. For 90% of the McDermott era the defense has been fantastic This is the first year where it's been average.
  16. Thanks for the correction meant to say 1T
  17. What's gotten the Chiefs offense to turn the corner for the last quarter of the season is getting Hollywood Brown back
  18. It was a wobbly pass that needed a big adjustment and technically difficult because of how short it was to him. Kincaid himself will tell you he dropped a ball he should have caught but no that’s not remotely an easy ball. They caught the bills by total surprise with that blitz and Allen still handled it. Kincaid made a tremendous adjustment but couldn’t pull it off in the end
  19. Bills do need to add a legit top WR but I think it has to be a veteran and they need to pay up for it
  20. People need to be patient with WRs. It’s the toughest position to transition into the pros other than QB. It’s easy to see worthy’s success and Keon lack of output and think it was a bad choice, but that contested catch from worthy is his exception and really he’s going to be a flex player in this league whereas Keon has the potential to be a true weapon on the outside as he develops. Worthy is already close to his ceiling you don’t draft players because of what you think theyll do in year 1
  21. Groot losing contain is Groot being Groot and not coaching. Because there were a bunch of times he DIDNT lose contain. He loses his head when engaged at times. That’s the problem. He’s also fairly inconsistent as a pass rusher. Some days he’s unstoppable other days he doesn’t get a single pass rush win.
  22. So as I see it the bills have 4 guys who are in good spots 1) Christian Benford his back to back concussions are terrifying and he should consider retirement. He looked scary being carted off. If he can come back full strength he’s a stud cover corner who can play both zone and man. The bills best cover play last night was Christian tracking Hollywood brown across the field and making a play. All-Pro potential with him 2) Terel Bernard - He’s a bit undersized but love his instincts and perhaps better off at the will 3) Ed Oliver. I actually thought he played well last night. He’s never going to be at a stud level on a consistent basis, but he’s generally been pretty good and consistentcy is his issue. But incredibly difficult to upgrade 4) Taron Johnson. Kelce was awfully quiet wasn’t he? Don’t have to say much about him, and still in his prime I don’t know what think about Milano. Clearly 2 years off from playing has him struggling. He’s also older now. My first thing is see if Dorian Williams can replace him in his 3rd year but that’s a high bar. You probably give Matt another year Groot, for the money he’ll command, is not worth it IMO - think you try and replace him in the draft and then also sign someone in free agency Rasul Douglas. Let him walk. As your second corner you don’t need a stud here. But you need someone better than Kair Elam. There’s gotta be a mid level FA out there Damar Hamlin - love his grit and mental side but I’d like to see him be a 3rd safety. You can actually find a really good safety capable of starting drafting at 30 or even somewhere in the 2nd round if the bills choose to move up. Taylor Rapp - on a pretty cheap contract, but he’s also a borderline starter. You could mess around with playing Cole Bishop as your deep guy and Rapp as your closer to the LOS guy (where he’s more comfort anyways). But if there’s someone in FA sitting there who’s an upgrade I’d grab him if it’s with a reason contract. Daquon Jones. Clearly fading physically. But he’s someone you should be able to replace relatively straightforward in free agency. But if I’m prioritizing? 1) EDGE 2) EDGE 3) Corner 4) 1T 5) EDGE 6) Safety 7) Linebacker Offensively the bills are single stud WR away
  23. Like if I told you this season was gonna come down to Josh Allen having the ball with 2:30 left and 3 TOs and down 3, in the AFCCG, how would you feel about that?
  24. TBF they already called the utterly bogus defensive holding on that play which would have given the Chiefs a first down on the 20
