  1. I believe the Bills are at 51 and down to two 2 cuts.
  2. My apologies. I was responding to the posts around the cuts on WRs, and yea I understand how I took it too far
  3. The reason he struggled some this preseason is because this was the first time in his life he struggled to win off the LOS against guys as strong AND quick as he was. There's a lot of technique he'll need get into his muscle memory. If you struggle off the LOS, you're not going to get any kind of seperation down field as the CB immediatly has that advantage. These are hard won muscle memory issues that may not payoff until after Halloween.
  4. He seperates in a lot of different ways, especially through body control and short area quickness. Once he learns to get off the LOS he'll be fine
  5. it's my darkest fear lol. I'm not saying that WILL happen, but perhaps the most likely reason if the season goes arwy. Beane made a very risky bet of staying in house/draft with the safeties, and not getting a top end CB. Losing Milano is just unfair
  6. I dunno where this is coming from because the Bills have gotten much more explosive this season compated to last season, and Coleman is a legit downfield threat
  7. y'all realize that Kincaid is basically a slot WR right?
  8. Diggs was an elite WR
  9. I would like to point out that this is 6M AAV less than Josh Allen. Which is less than say, Curtis Samuel makes.
  10. would you rather have CeeDee Lamb or Micah Parsons? A big salary cap hike might protect the Cowboys from having to make this choice though, but it still very much might be a thing
  11. beane and McDermott have paid for a top 10 defense and an elite QB, and so far the Bills have gotten a top 10 defense and an elite QB
  12. Bills literally just played Mahomes well in the playoffs.
  13. He's not better than Bernard
  14. This is also a function of the Bills being really successful under McDermott. They didn't make the playoffs twice, and in each of the subsequent drafts they landed Josh Allen, Ed Oliver, and Tremaine Edmunds in the top 15. The Bengals are paper tigers. In each of their 2 playoff games they've given up 23+ first downs and 50% 3rd down conversions. In our most recent playoff game they held Mahomes to 215 yards passing, 20 first downs, and just 1 of 5 on 3rd down. And this was with the defense gutted. But take a look at the Ravens defense and Niners defense. Keep in mind the Bills have exactly one defender drafted in the top 10, and then Edmunds who was what, 12, and then Kair Elam and Groot as the first round picks on the rest of the defense that's in its prime. 2023 Ravens: Roquon Smith (8), Oweh (31), Marlon Humphrey (16), Kyle Hamilton (14) 49ers: Bosa, Nick Young, Javon Hargrave, Chase Young, Leonard Floyd Bills: Groot, Oliver The Ravens and Niners SHOULD have better defenses than the Bills. They've put more resources into that unit. The Bills had to give away multiple first rounders to get Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. The Ravens lucked their way into Lamar Jackson at the end of the first round, and meanwhile the Niners haven't paid a QB though they wasted a first round pick on Trey Lance Imagein the Bills having that extra first rounder?
  15. Jaylen Warren is an incredible pick up in the 13th round. While he's got a time share with Harris, he's gonne be the higher scoring guy and I think by the end of the season owns that job outright
  16. Poyer and Micah were pretty pedestrian athletes, and there are limits to what you can do with them, no matter how brilliant your scheme is, when the opposing team has elite athletes and a QB that could do work
  17. For me, I always used projected non-screen volume as great ways to assess fantasy players. One guy I targeted was Joe Mixon, because he's goign to be a workhorse back in a high octance offense. Shakir & Kincaid are great options because they're going to be the money weapons in a QB that's going to throw for 4200/25+. My least favorite pick in my draft is D'avtone Smith, just because I don't think his volume is going to be enough with AJ Brown, Dallas Goedert, Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts running the ball 15+ a game. But I figure I'll start with him and see if Shakir or Jameson Williams pop as money guys. Amon St' Brown is an intermediate range WR, and Williams is the more dynamic athlete there so he's got some fun potential
  18. I'm a Bills/PSU/Syracuse/Knicks/Mets/USMNT guy, he's been the best coach on any of my teams since I can remember - and Cam here lands on one of the reasons why. He is an absolutely brilliant defensive coach. Start at about 1:40 to get to the McDermott part, but the whole clip is pretty good if you're interested in how to read a coverage pre-snap
  19. This is the most male coded thread I've ever seen around here and I'm hugely entertained
  20. Yup, but I got a bit of a discount because I already have YTTV and had the ticket last season. I live in Cali so I need it, unless I want to go snooping for illegal streams on Reddit
  21. Yea I usually don't have a ton of Bills on my team. The only consistent I've reached for the last few years has been Diggs. I never trusted Gade Davis as a fantasy dude. If y'all are curious this is my 10 franchise team.
  22. yea even ESPN thinkks Samuel and Coleman are higher than Shakir, but all you have to do is research the Bills this training camp for less than 5 minutes to realize that Shakir and Kincaid are gonna be Allen's top targets, outside of the misdirection plays such as screens and shovels and such
  23. I wouldn't touch Cook as a starter or Flex. McDermott has little patience with guys who drop/fumble balls. And also Ray Davis is going to eat a lot of touches I think
  24. I was able to get him towards the end of the 10th round in my 10 man league. And we all love ball. ESPN says he's rostered on only 36.8% of teams
  25. I snagged him late rounds, and I have a feeling a lot you guys did to. Dude is gonna cook this season
