  1. Talent level it's not all that close. From my amateur GM eyes, I want to move on from Ras and get a corner that can actually play man, get a safety that's significantly more athletic than Hamlin, and an upgrade to the aging Daquon Jones who's routinely getting washed now at 1T, and a legit pass rusher opposite Groot that's going to get the TE and RB attention. Running the ball is all about moving people, and I don't really blame Ed for this because he's the 3T and not neccesarily supposed to avoid getting washed on power run plays, but he's got to get a 1T next to him that can hold up and not be moved. Some of this you can resolve in the draft, some in FA. Some of it in house like Cole.
  2. Once the line got washed out in the first quarter run game the defense was hamstrung as it create a chain reaction that led to them being basically unstoppable on offense. If you can't stop the run on first down you're not even gonna get to 3rd down to put out a pass rush. The run + play action stuff led to Puka and Kupp with favorable coverages. 2nd half? That's really where the the Bills getting trounced in Pass rush and then Puka + Kupp saying ***** y'all DBs I'm just making plays came in. In the 2nd half the Rams converted the following: Drive 1 3rd and 10 (Puka for 17) 3rd and 6 (Puka DPI and got 7 anyways) 3rd and 3 (Goal to go) Drive 2 3rd and 6 (Puka for 24) 3rd and 3 (Kupp for 17 and TD) Drive 3 3 and out Drive 4 3rd and 9 (Puka DPI) 4th and 5 (Tutu for 11) 3rd and 5 (Puka Screen TD) Like they only had 2 favorable 3rd downs! That's a combo of poor pass rush and elite QB to WR play We just don't have the talent. This is something that;s been apparent for this defense since week 1. It takes scheme and the offense getting a lead to overcome, and once the Rams jumped on the Bills the lack of talent was exposed. Scheme can only take you so far.
  3. Jameson Williams terrifies me. He may get a combined 200 receiving/rushing. Just an an awful player profile for this specific defense because of personnel issues
  4. He looked utterly furious so I was curious what happened during from his perspective
  5. That was some best WR alive ***** he was doing out there
  6. The blocked punt was obviously massive and the TO egregiously bad. But that was after the Bills had given up 44 points and forced what, 1 punt?
  7. Yup. McDermott and Babich have been covering up a glaring lack of talent on defense with scheme all season
  8. Also I haven’t a clue what the solve is on defense. GR, AJE and Von Miller all had terrible games. Best you can do is hope it’s a 1 off type of thing. I mean can forgive get torched by 2 of the 10 best WRs having an A game. But the pass rush was suffocated. They went like 11 of 13 on 3rd down and a bunch of them favored the defense in down and distance. Bills actually solved the Ram running game but on 3rd down couldn’t do squat. Part tip of the hat to a really good skill set in LA, part you better hope they just played a bad game at the DL
  9. Wait till he gets Kincaid and Keon back
  10. Because 3rd and 15 > 4th and 7 if they’re gonna go for it
  11. I’m going to give 5% to the blatant non call of holding on the last Puka TD
  12. That was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve seen in my football watching life and I’m 45
  13. Think this is just for the room rather than on field production
  14. No. But I actively like him as the head coach and don't want to change
  15. I can almost guarantee you beane isnt going to spend a first round pick on a 1T, when EDGE is a much much bigger need. And depending on how FA goes WR and CB are behind Edge and ahead of 1T
  16. I do not think McDermott cares if teams run the ball well outside the red zone. He believes that eventually their nickel base will get a stop outside the red on first down and they can be in their bag with the pass defending schemes. They are fairly effective at stopping the run inside the 20 so we have evidence this is all a choice. Even though I don’t love the feel of it, but considering how few points the Bills give up I don’t really have a leg to stand on in saying something should be changed
  17. I know that gas station! Windiest gas station I’ve ever been to
  18. My B for some reason I got it in my head you were talking about his hometown and I forgot how the super rich have multiple homes
  19. It’s 4.5 hours north of LA. Buffalo is closer to Pittsburgh than firbaugh is to LA
  20. Pff has elite data collection. Generally their grades are more questionable
  21. This is weirdly enough one of the easiest seasons I’ve been through as a fan
  22. Kneel it out boys and have a night
  23. McVay can coach and they have some talent. Low key the best pass rush tandem in the league as well
