  1. Lets go back when Gailey was hired, "I like those waterbug Running backs" said Gailey. Lynch was clearly out of Buffalo plans well before the draft. I believe in the best player available and Spiller was not suppose to fall.
  2. Lou Saban built an Offensive line specially design for O.J. Simpson, the Electric Company. The team was pretty much built around Simpson, I doubt Chan Gailey builds a defensive line around Maybin
  3. You do have a valid point and I hope you are right but.......Thats a lot of money my friend!
  4. I remember Moulds the same as you, the board would have been unhappy with the pick but there was progress. He beat coverage almost every game and he didn't drop every pass. In his rookie year he had 20 receptions,279 yards receiving, a 14.0 average, 2 TD's. Not exactly worthless
  5. Lamonica was drafted in the 24th round by Buffalo in 1963.... Moulds is wrong, he dropped the ball but continued to improve....period
  6. I think everyone on the board was looking for Orakpo. I still can not believe we passed. On Maybin, sometimes you just have to let them go! The money is the biggest problem. If he was a 6th rounder the Bills could live with that.
  7. Moulds was drafted number 1 but he did show signs of progress and he was open after he beat the coverage. Nice guess though!
  8. Name one Buffalo Bill drafted in the first round that showed so little in the first 2 years that eventually became a productive player worthy of a number 1 selection? Excluding a season long injury. Example: Willis McGahee Some played okay but made slow progress. Maybin has shown absolutely nothing. Keep in mind the guy has a huge contract as well. NO PROGRESS, BIG PAYCHECK= BYE BYE
  9. Didn't we get a 4th and a 6th? What were you looking for? The market dictates the value and this guys has some flys
  10. Its not who you draft it's what you draft. (Vince Lombardi)
  11. I was hoping for a player in return, but its water under the Peace bridge now
  12. I thought this was a good thread, but what do I know?
  13. Where have you been ? Mars Buffalo dumped Cap on an entire Offensive line last year and they continue to dump, do you see a pattern here? God, I can't help you be street wise, you have to learn the hard way!
  14. Guys, I feel the pain, trust me! Its not the actual trading of Marsahwn Lynch it is the direction that bothers me. Once again the Bills made a move AFTER THE FANS BOUGHT TICKETS. Had the Bills traded Marshawn for a player,I would feel much better,at least we got something we can see, this move is for the future, but who's future? L.A, Toronto ? We were sold on a few changes and an inspired new team under Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey. I have watched 6 teams do this over the last 20 years, 4 moved! The Bills better hold a marking meeting soon and figure a way to keep the fans otherwise you have a dwindling fan base and a franchise streamlined to sell! I am more worried about the team in Buffalo then ever before. You guys don't deserve this, it appears to be a fire sale, yet Aaron Maybin keeps cashing those checks. I guess there are no takers on that trade.
  15. Read........not my words http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81b1752a/article/seahawks-land-veteran-rb-lynch-in-trade-with-bills?module=HP_headlines
  16. Can I take "Another Point OF view" I am all for a new quarterback but you can't bypass the process. Brian Brohm was a better prospect then any of the Class of 2011 Quarterbacks. He was projected by some as the #1 selection in the draft. YOU ARE TALIKING ABOUT COMMENTS MADE IN THE LAST FEW DAYS and the fans are bored. Eliminate BROHM and I am with you..........and don't give me any garbage about what he did or didn't do in Green Bay, its has no meaning here! Different team, different coaches, different situation.
  17. You seem to think I was talking about a high quality player or players. I was not. I think A.J. Hawk would help us but he has been somewhat of a disappointment in GB
  18. Let me give you my opinion here, the last time I saw him he did not look well. He took a fall in his house in Detroit. He seems confused at interviews and he is now avoiding public speaking. His health is fairing but he is doing well for 91. I attended a dinner in 1974 with Ralph ,coaches and media and he was pretty much the same but he doesn't have the passion anymore.
  19. I am 56 also, I walk funny,I can't see, I fall asleep while standing, I sleep during the football games and that is why I am happy!
  20. He had an empty stadium, he will attempt to sell a few more tickets but he didn't see a playoff birth.........
