  1. I saw the movie. My review - Well done. What I liked the most is how Kevin Costner (GM for the Browns) stayed 100% authentic throughout the entire movie, through the scenes that were extremely stressful, everything. I liked it. FWIW - there are at least two members of the Bills Front Office in the Movie. Maybe three. I recognized one other besides Russ for sure.
  2. At the time and for where we drafted him, Travis Henry. Until of course he completely fell off the cliff with so many personal issues.
  3. If its true that a Toronto based group is possibly in play, I would prefer RUSH be included in the ownership team to buy the Bills over Bon Jovi. The new stadium could be name "Spirit of the Radio Park". But thats just me.
  4. Yes he (Trump) would make a great owner.
  5. I had Mike Williams in Fantasy Football the last two seasons. 2012 he was a stud. My only concern here is that he played along side Vincent Jackson and we have no Vincent Jackson on our roster. I am holding out hope that we will still draft either Mike Evans or Ebron from North Carolina. We need as many weapons (prferably big) that we can stockpile.
  6. Not necessarliy near UB, but I agree with the needing to build a "hypothetical new Ralph" near major route arteries. If downtown would be considered, you have to think that more entry / exit routes would have to be built. Here in Philly, the City and The Eagles have a very sweet set up in the old shipyard district. One of the things thats most attractive to me is getting in / out of the Sports Zone where the Eagles / Flyers / Phillies all play. Easy access to all main roads in and out.
  7. Thank you Ralph.
  8. She has a twin and they are two of the stars on a WWE Reality show. I think it is titled WWE Diva's. My wife loves the show, and.....well, I have to take it for the team every once in a while and watch with her.
  9. Agreed, up till this yer when he took a more hands on approach. Not stating this is why Detroit's D I believe finished better than at any other time during his tenure, but this could cause n effect. He is the profile of a football guy better served as a Coordinator than HC. I would have liked to see Schwartz and Harbaugh take the next step in their dance class. Nice hire. I like it.
  10. I agree on James Jones over Hakeem. I wouldnt go there for either, however. The Bills should stay the course and draft a WR at #9 or trade down and still draft one of the top three - Watkins, Evans or Benjamin. I suspect they will target Benjamin due to the tie in with EJ. HEy, why not. Benjamin is ridiculously big for his age and position.
  11. I dont necessarily disagree with this sentiment. Not sure, however, that he is deserving of the All Pro Tag. I remember at key moments through the season, especially when we had to make a key run stop, that didn't happen. Not intending that the D's inability to make key run stops is all on Dareus. All Pro's make those plays. I do think that playing alongside Alan Branch helped Dareus improve, but not so much to the status of All Pro.
  12. You must have been caught out in the blizzard good buddy.
  13. Agreed. Bills could even be a dance partner to trade down a bit, gather an additional pick, and still nail (yes I said the Bills could nail) one of the top 2 receivers in this years draft. I would be happy with either Watkins or A&M's Evans. Even the big kid (dont know his name), the WR from FSU could be a nice pick.
  14. I agree here. It takes a team a long time, whomever they are, to overcome a stunning "turn of event" type of play. Regarding McCarron, I would have him as a Bill any day and hope that the Bills select him in Round 3 or later. I feel he has a bright future in the NFL
  15. Agreed on Mike Evans. Mike Evans immediately upgrades our WR corp. Regarding TE, draft 1 in the 2nd round and also make a play for either Jimmy Graham - I would give up first round picks for him should he be franchised, although New Orleans will have serious cap challengenges; Jermichael Finley and / or Dennis Pitta. Also need to dump TJ Graham and do it soon. How about Brandon Spikes, FA from NEw England Patriots. Spikes would bring some immediate nastiness to our D, something we need.
  16. OMG! Big time players are expected to make big time plays. I was pretty shocked and more so disappointed on Megatron's play last night. However, looking at the game from a bigger picture, when your star players are not making star plays on the the Big stage with playoffs on the line, need to take a hard look at the leadership of the organization. The Lions as an organization have ZERO mental toughness and obviously dont know what it means to get fully prepared for critical ball games. On another note - I have Megatron in one of my fantasy leagues and I expected him to have a great. Who did I go against? Justin Tucker ad Reggie Bush. When I saw Megatron's first two drops, I knew I was in trouble. Hats off to Justin Tucker. Here come the Ravens.
  17. Agree and disagree. As I shared after the week 1 disappointing loss to NE, Russ way in over his head on the football side of things. Owning up to what your strengths as well as your weaknesses are very key to everything we do. His biggest weakness is thinking he has any experience on the football side of the business. If he wants to keep the CEO tag, fine, but bring in someone else at the executive level with total autonomy on all football matters. Nothing against Doug Marrone personally, but wasn't really enamored with his hire. I wont even comment again on Hackett, I have beaten that horse to a pulp. Altogether, very, very unfortunate.
  18. I have said it over and over again, including the ridiculous opening day loss - the issues we see on the field are a result of Brandon's football inexperience. We can say whatever we want, at the end of the day, the Bills start and end with him.
  19. The best game with the most amazing ending. This one tops them all including the Nebraska missing the 2 pt conversion vs Miami, Flutie hail Mary, Ohio State beating Miami in OT and yes the Boise over Oklahoma game. What a game. Wow. Especially with all that was on the line yesterday. I don't think its unfair to Alabama. They lost. We could start up a whole separate string of what teams we think were probably the best in that given season yet didn't get a chance to compete for the National Title. I think the 93 Notre Dame team tops the list. All the talent on that team, they beat Florida State that season, yet dont get voted in over FSU to compete for the title vs Nebraska. This will make the anticipation of next years college playoff all the more exciting.
  20. Agreed. If we only could have closed KC, then this is a different. It is what it is. Lets get through the next two games over the next three weeks then revisit.
  21. I didn't get to see the game live yesterday. If, however, Dareus had as good of game as stated, good for him, because the Jets O Line is definitely a measuring stick as they (the Jets O Line) owned him in 4 of the first 5 Bills Jets games since he came into the league.
  22. I see your point and counter with this. Of the 7 losses the Bills have this year, I count at least 4 of those losses on the coaching staff: NE - Fourth Qtr Game Mgt; CIN - inept Offensive Play calling in the 2nd qtr which changed the momentum; KC - we know what happened there and when; PIT - not showing up. Those four ball games the Bills should have legitimately won. Coaching is a big, big reason. Sure he did a nice job in Syracuse, but this is the NFL. Riddle me this - what do the HC's of each of the teams I named all have in common? They each have Super Bowl Rings either from being a HC or Assistant. In addition, FSU is trying its hardest to wipe the floor with all teams to secure their spot in the BCS Championship game. Ohio State and Baylor both are putting up a lot of points each week. FSU has to do the same. FWIW - if FSU makes the BCS Championship game, I think they beat Bama.
  23. LOL
  24. OH so agreed. And this is my biggest issue out of the many issues I have with the over matched Marrone - he didn't consider all of the D coordinator's Mr Wet Behind His Ears was going to face this year. Ryan twice, Pat's D twice, Zimmer is Cincy, KC's D, Ryan in NO, I could go on. Hey Doug - since you didnt pet your dog again yesterday and likely wont after next week as well, go buy a kitten.
