11 wins is doable. INDY, MIA, NYG, TEN, JAX, CIN, MIA, HOU, WASH, DAL, NYJ. We may need 11 wins just to secure a wild card. Our schedule outside our division is sizing up to be pretty weak. I will say it again, each AFCE team will be .500 or better.
What will work in our favor and against the Jets and much like the Texans last year is right around week 6 you will see the sizzle fizzle in that guy we know as Fitzy. Then he will have to deal with his nemesis, Rexy on a Thursday night. Still like the Jets to be at least 8-8.
I know I didn't. In preseason I shared my view that each AFCE team would be .500 or better. You look at the two common opponent divisions we play, AFCN and NFCE, both divisions are trending to have down years.
My biggest concern coming out of the Jets dumping the Colts is that now our week 1 victory does not really look that impressive.
Agreed. And we will. I actually had us beating NE then losing to Miami. Miami looks lost and I am very surprised. OMG our D Line better make amends next week. I sense Tannehill will be running for his life all game long.
We will be fine. truth be told we eliminate half the mistakes we made, we would have won. I love the fight we showed to climb all the way back to get within 5.
On to Miami.
Agreed. We eliminate about half our mistakes, we win. I love how we fought hard in the 4th qtr. We will be OK. We get NE again. But as this post said, on to Miami....
LOL. You know I was kicking myself cause I didnt start Pierre Garcon over Steve Smith, I lost by 5. Reading this has me back on track. Thanks for the morning humor.
Really think Roman game planned to not target Sammy? Most of us disagree 100%. Why not spin the fact that Sammy didn't have many targets to the tune of Tyrod not trying to force any balls to Sammy and playing smart. Be happy with the win. On to NE.
Eric Wood was the 2nd of 2 1st 2009 1st round picks, the other - Aaron Maybin. If you remember, that's the year he suffered the very ugly leg break vs Jax.
Is there a problem with Whaley? He cut one of my all times favorites in Freddy, but Freddie is 34, decent contract, we traded for Shay then draft Karlos, and it looks like Freddy lost a step. Having to move on from a popular veteran is actually a good thing, it means our roster is getting stronger and stronger. Wont stop next year when we say good bye to Kyle WIlliams. Nothing wrong with this type of roster evolving, just gotta win.

See paragraph 2:
With the release of Matt Cassel Friday along with a host of other player cuts in advance of the league deadline to get the roster down to 53 players, Manuel was awarded the backup quarterback job.
CB states Cassel was cut Friday, meaning yesterday.

2nd paragraph of his article he states:
With the release of Matt Cassel Friday along with a host of other player cuts in advance of the league deadline to get the roster down to 53 players, Manuel was awarded the backup quarterback job.
He states Friday, meaning yesterday. Could be a typo on his part. Just an FYI.
Game doesnt scare me. Bills still win. This whole deflagate thing was constant "air cover" for the player change over on the Patriots roster. The Patriots are weaker roster wise than they were a year ago. We are better roster and coaching wise than a year ago. We still win 29 - 22.
