  1. If TD pushes really hard he should be able to get Woodson as well.
  2. hey - you can't have enough high motor white guys
  3. Pretty ironic that the Church won't accept pedophiles as part of the flock, but protects them when frocked as a priest.
  4. it sure worked for Ryan Denney
  5. Campbell talk is just a smokescreen. If he was teh real target, they would do a trade on draft day to make the pick. The Denver trade positions them to either try to move up into the top 5 for Braylon Edwards or gives them flexibility to trade 1 of the 1sts for a player (Clements?)
  6. whatever baggage that Shelton has - he is a much better LT than either the overhyped, but severely undermotivated, Bannon or Barnes.
  7. won't be drafted by Teflon Tom - doesn't fit the prototype of high motor white guy
  8. Jammal Brown would definitely fit the Teflon Tom profile of overpaying overhyped OTs who can only play RT.
  9. no - the Teflon Tom plan is to grossly overpay for another Patrito reject - Ty Law - to solve our CB problem.
  10. Nice job in leaving out the very next sentence in the article ; "Shifting Teague to left tackle and starting Ross Tucker at center is also a possibility." which fits with the strategy of drafting a Center in the 2nd or 3rd round. Teflon Tom probably should have said -" we have absolutely no plan on the roster for a LT and really, really need to pull off the Henry trade for Shelton." yeah - right
  11. yeah - he was. But what's a little revisionist history to make a point
  12. maybe the Skins will deal Chris Samuels since he wants a new contract as well and they could probably offset the cap hit of Nate's new contract.
  13. well they probably did - Drew just picked up bad habits in the off-season by practicing with the neighborhood kids the last few years.
  14. looks like Modrak is smart not to take just a GM title without all of the benfits an power afforded a true GM. By remaining as asst GM, he is free to move to a GM job as a promotion. If he had the GM title, the Bills could block his move. On the other hand, Modrak gets to operate a high level without being under the gun for his personnnel decisions. Teflon Tom can deflect all the criticism.
  15. so at what age did you start having your kids and grandkids start doing chores and cleaning up after themselves? Of is that type of activity too demeaning and would ruin their self-esteem? Kids at age 5 are fully capable of cleaning up - and my guess is the teacher had some justification, more than pure vindicativness, to require that kid to do the cleaning.
  16. you are correct - drsaft picks are treated as teh holy grail. If the Bills are committed to not re-signing Nate, they should pursue a player for player trade which will trade much better value. Like Travis for Shelton. I seem to remember Chris Samuels wanted to redo his contract and may be available. A trade for Samuels would gie them more leverage with the Cards as well. the Bills would then have the luxury of demanding a pay cut out of Mike Williams.
  17. you sure he's not going to a ranch in Montana for teh off-season?
  18. Nice try - but your theory is not grounded in fact. Good teams find diamonds in the rough after the 2nd round that actually contribute on offense and defense. TD has only been minimally successful in this regard and has been forced to spend big money or trade to provide this talent. The stellar play of the special teams in 2004 was a direct result of using starters because those mid-round picks that should be the core of your ST were not up to the challenge.
  19. another mid-round Teflon Tom can waste. maybe another high motor white guy- like Coy Wire
  20. ask Eric where we stay in Orlando. I would never consider buying a time share. They are a horrible investment.
  21. maybe he can challenge Coy Wire for a starting position somewhere.
  22. Teflon Tom has done well with trades and free agency- but he has paid top dollar in terms of both salary and trade value. Unfortunately, he has had to make such moves because he has failed to acquire significant talent in the draft at reasonable prices.
  23. Locke is in car accident - but in Australia with wife of Eddie- the navy guy who discovered the numbers.
  24. let's see his production after he's off the roids
