  1. please - NO. Marv did a great job of molding the various egos together on a very veteran team. However, this team has far more needs than what Marv can deliver. Most imporetant was that mrv couldn;t stand rookies and refused to play any young players. The Bills need a teacher who can quickly get the most of draft picks and young players. He did a poor job with hiring and not firing his coordinators, except for Ted Marchibroda. He never did effectively replace Ted, and Walt Corey was oputright horrible.
  2. The plan is solid. However, the missing component is that the team must draft effectively to have a stable of reasonable priced and capable replacements ready to take over for the departed over paid player with a minimal drop off in production. Teflon has failed big time to consistently restock thru the draft. In additoin, TD has totally miscalulcated on what is needed on the OL to compete in the NFL. His overhyped OL coach has not been able polish the turds that TD has acquired.
  3. piss poor talent evaluation of OL personnel and questionable coaching from our vastly overrated OL coach not to mention a crusade to find diamonds in the rough even if it means locking onto often injured players and players who need to moved to new positions.
  4. "After making a great throw to Evans, Losman took the Bills' momentum away by misreading the coverage and throwing an end-zone interception on a third-and-goal play from the Pats' 22. Evans ran a flat route underneath toward the left sideline while Sam Aiken ran a corner route behind him. Losman didn't see Pats corner Asante Samuel quickly back off his man, Evans, and easily move into position for the pickoff. "It was a bad read by J.P. on the throw," Mularkey said. "We had Lee underneath." " The real problem is the playcalling and play design. Losman was trying to score a TD. His coaches, however had other ideas. On 3rd and goal from the 20, the objective should be to score a TD, not inch the ball closer to the endzone. Yet by Mullarkey's own words, the play had Evans (his best WR) runa pattern 15 yards short of the endzone. The Pats DB recognized the stupidity of this play design and left our best WR wide open since he could do no harm at the 15 yard line and retreated to the endzone. Seems awful familiar to the last NE game where Holcomb threw to Moulds as the decoy 7 yards short of a 1st down on 4th down. Losman may not have executed properly, but he is really being hindered by the play calling and play design of Mullarkey. He is too cute for his own good. As
  5. wrong question. That's what they asked when we drafted Mike Williams. He may have been rated highly only because of the severe lack of talent in that draft. The question should be whether there any OL which merit a top 5 pick and will be a can't miss LT for many years. If not, trade the pick or consider if there any other elite difference makers available.
  6. The bargain basement signings are still needed. The Bills should just not be hallucinating that these signings are upgrades.
  7. the biggest reason he has not left Iowa to coach in the NFL is graduating this year. He should at the top of a short list of candidates. At least he knows what an OL is.
  8. makes a great combination
  9. The Bills absolutely need to hire a HC who has proven to be successful as a HEAD coach, even if only at the college level. Running the entire program is much more difficult than just being an offensive or defensive coordinator. Jeff Fischer would be great if Adams makes the mistake and fires him. If not, Kirk Ferentz should get strong consideration.
  10. Teflon sure likes those midget WRs. Remember how Troy Edwards worked as a Pitts #1? Probably the last straw that got him fired by Steelers.
  11. he was right- Saban would never have worked for Teflon Tom where he didn't have complete control over personnel. you can see first hand how Mularkey's career is being destroyed by total failure of his GM to field an OL with even marginal talent.
  12. feel better in that he can collect his big paycheck for 2 more years plus his ESPN salary as he comments on the mess he left in Buffalo on Sportscenter.
  13. The Bledsoe trade wasn't the probem. It was giving him a big new contract with big bonus money after he proved he was not worth it.
  14. that's what happens when you have really stupid OL that can't understand blocking adjustments
  15. like the man said, GB could take a QB because Rogers is a total bust
  16. yeah- Haslet has proved he sucks as a coach, but at least he has experience at it.
  17. Kirk Ferentz 1. head coaching experioence at Iowa 2. coached under Belichek in Cleveland 3. OL coach so he's able to fully understand and fix our OL problem 4. His tie to Iowa is about to graduate
  18. actually- Thurman started- Barry was 2nd string
  19. Too bad Fat Sam can't play nose tackle. we also need a some LBs that can play
  20. JP made a good play fake as indicated by above. so who missed the block that made JP run for his life and miss the open Josh Reed?
  21. maybe he spit on his position coach?
  22. not a chance- He didn't suffer any career threatneing knee injuries. However, this shortcoming may be overcome if he qualifies as a high motor guy
  23. If Teflon is still around, he will trade him straight up for TO to make a big splash.
  24. yeah- Phil is great at managing lightweights like Jordan and Shaq. He should prove his greatness and coach a team with only average talent and no superstars.
  25. was your first clue seeing Roscoe playing QB and throwing passes?
