  1. Mike Williams had the same rap on him when he came out and look how he turned out! oh wait- nevermind
  2. The consensus is that 2006 is a deep draft so the 3rd or 4th round pick is much more valuable than a comparable pick in a weak draft year.
  3. sure he can- just like Mike Williams did. We all know that he only playing RT to protect the blind side of left handed QB
  4. There are several very good TEs which are not far behind Davis from a production standpoint. Pope is actually a better blocker and would be the better value pick if he drops to the 2nd round.
  5. you mean the same John Henderson that we passed on for Mike Williams?
  6. wrong Thr Bills need playmakers- but with Ralph's limnited budget -it's too expensive to buy them in FA. Theresfore, you must find playmekers in the draft - and that means you need talent Skippin the entire 1st round is not how you find playmakers.
  7. whatever talent Adams had was wasted because he was always injured due to the excessive weight he insisted on lugging around.
  8. an old, fat, slow and often injured and over paid iprima donna wth an attitude is not the way to anchor your defense
  9. NO Polian had to twist Marv's arnm to move DOWN 1 spot to take Conlan. There is no way that Marv gives away picks to move up.
  10. no but April 1 might have sometihing to do with the Parcell's report.
  11. Ngata will be the pick over Bunkley. Although he is big, Ngata is exactly the type of disrupter that fits inthe cover 2. The bonus is that he is big and could play 2 gap in a 3-4 look. Although Bunkley is strong, not so sure if he could handle nose tackle in a 3-4. It should be about flexibility in your defense.
  12. Found this on another board regarding Joseph: "Just listening to Davin Joseph on NFL Sirius Radio and the kid is impressive. Pat Kirwin is asking him about the strengths and weaknesses on a variety of DTs and Joseph is speaking with the clarity and even handedness of a football coach. Considering the kid's measurables and his pedigree blocking at OU, I've got to believe he's going to be a 1st rounder, early 2nd rounder once teams have a chance to speak to him. For those interested, here's a paraphrased version of his thoughts on various DTs... Haloti Ngata, Oregon -- Quickest, most disruptive DT in this draft class. People underestimate his ability to get penetration Brodrick Bunkley, FSU -- Strongest DT he's ever seen, potential to be the very best of this class but for now isn't a complete football player yet Gabe Watson, Michigan -- Called him a "good" player with no discernible weaknesses but is also not "one of the best DTs in this draft." Rod Wright, Texas -- Joseph is friends with Wright and they've been training together, so take his comments with a grain of salt. But he did say that reports re: Wright lacking passion are completely erroneous and Rod has perfect technique to be an impact player at the next level" Based on this assessment of Ngata- all comments from the coaches are to deflect the Bills true intentions of taking Ngata at #8.
  13. because most people don't appreciate his old war stories
  14. There will be no team in LA until all teams wanting a new stadium have extorted cash from the public to build one under threat of their team being moved to LA. The networks are actually worse off with teams in LA since they run the risk of local blackouts and lose the flexibility of carrying the best games in teh LA market.
  15. unfortunately such a romor is designed to make a team leapfrog the Bills to get teh QB they want-thus forcing a player to drop to the Bills. What the Bills really need is to trade down themselves- but highly unlikely that will happen on draft day with Marv in charge.
  16. they will not move any team to LA until all teams that want new stadiums have extorted them from the taxpayers under threat of moving to LA.
  17. He loves the area so much he lives in a hotel. Way to invest in your "adopted" hometown.
  18. there is absolutely no way the overly conxervative Marv and Jauron would ever bring in a free lance QB like Vince Young. Cutler is unlikley, but a possibility
  19. Todd Collins had a great comeback against the Colts back in the day. Too bad Washington just signed him.
  20. Young provides no competition in 2006. Based on the conservative nature of both Marv and Jauron, there in absolutely no way that they want a free lance QB running the show in Buffalo. They will NOT draft Young. However, they may tell everyone they will in order to drum up some trade interest.
  21. tough to get open deep when the play design has you standing flat footed 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage
  22. It's sunny and warm in Colorado too. The dude will turn into a popsicle at teh home opener
  23. because Sam was old, fat, slow overpaid and often injured.
  24. just what we need- another over paid RIGHT Tackle Big money should go to the LT - anything else is a huge waste of cash and cap space
