no- what he's saying is that the Bills should be happy at a position if they have a bunch of players already signed and pass on a potential stud at that position because of too many bodies.
you win with playmakers - not with a buch of marginal players
nice try- bonehead. Try reading the entire post.
Like I said in my post- the Bills need to be actively working on trades before the draft.
IF they sit on their hands like Teflon tom did when he thought he Joey H. in the bag, then they will be ill prepared to make a move when on the clock on draft day.
And if they are not prepared, there is no way that they move Marv out of his comfort zone in 15 minutes.
Bills need to be on the phone from now until the draft exploring trade partners depending on various scenarios.
If they wait for the phone to ring, they will never do a deal on draft day because 15 minutes will be too short for Marv to make a commitment.
The NFL is only using the threat of moving teams to LA to extort public money for new stadiums.
They are better off without a team in LA since they have no fear of blackouts and can televise the best matchups each week.
we tried the fat, overweight, poorly motivated lazy guy on offense the last time we were in the top 10.
That worked out great-
so let's take the overweight, lazy, previously injured, poorly motivated fat guy on defense at #8.
Your definition of "loaded" must be really convoluted if you think the the Bills are overloaded at talent at LB.
Who are these super-quality players overflowing our roster?
An injured Spikes, an quickly aging Fletcher, and an underperforming Posey with questionable backups behind them.
If Hawk falls to the Bills, they would be hardpressed to pass on him in favor of the studs on our roster.
just like Justice has always been a RT.
Following the above logic, Mike Williams should have been a great LT because he protected the blind side of the left handed Chris Sims.
If Justice stays at RT - then the even less experienced Peters will have to move to LT.
With comparable talent available, it is risky to spend #8 money on a RT (either by plan or because he wasn't able to make the move to LT).
the only football guy he trusts is Marv.
not exactly the young turk you are looking for.
He tried bringinh in the outside expert in Teflon tom- not likely to try that again anytime son
Owners never should have had to increase the salary cap without the players agreiing to a rookie wage scale - which would have shifted more salary to the veterans (the actual core of the union)
They also never should have been backed into a corner and forced to agree to this deal at the last minute.
What the hell were the Owenr's negotiators doing for the last 2 years?
yeah - they got taken to the cleaners by the NFLPA
Cover safeties are much more important than run stuffers in the cover 2.
Henry Jones played a key role for the Bills in being able to lock down on elite TEs like Ben Coates.
Bills will probably draft a S, especially one with coverage skills, fairly early.
but under Red McCombs the Vikings were $20 mil under the cap.
The bills may have grossed more, but at least they spent up to the cap.
The Vikings will now be one of those t4eams attempting to extort free money for a new stadium while threatening to move to LA.
Ideally the leageue will use the threat of moving to LA to extort new stadium deals for all teams that need them.
Then, the league will somehow create another expansion team to put in LA thus generating another $1 billion to share with the existing owners.
No team will be moving to LA until all other teams that want new stadiums have used teh threat of moving to LA to extort free bpublic money in their current home town.
The plan to nothball makes sense because then the league can add an expansion team and collect about $1 bil in entrance fees.
