too many posters play fantasy football and are applying value concepts to the NFL draft. In the NFL, its more important to get playmakers than to get a bunch of players who the experts perceive to be properly slotted. Marv did what he has always done. Stayed in this draft slot and took who they graded as the best player on their board. Whitner will be a playmaker and it will soon be forgotten where he was selected, as opposed to taking the expert's choice of Ngata who promptly eats himself out of the league. Any expectation of trading down were ill conceived, since Marv does not trade on draft day.

Marv may be seriously tempted by Cutler, if he see alot of Jim Kelly in him. They may take Cutler and see if they can trade with all the teams after then that need a QB- including the Jets.
