  1. Worse than Roscoe. At least Roscoe can run routes. Hester can run, but can't coer anybody, can't run patterns and can't catch too well.
  2. Bills will not draft any fat slow players. Speed is mandatory.
  3. Leinart is a left handed Rob Johnson. Bills aren't the only ones that passed on him
  4. probably because he never played LT
  5. That is something we do not know. The only people who are laughing at the picks are media heads who are guessing as to where players are slotted. The actual teams who are selecting the players don't advertise their real intentions. Both of these players fit the system and will out perform where the "experts' projected them to be drafted.
  6. Trade would have made a lot of sense if they had moved down from #8
  7. McCargo would not have been there in 2nd round.
  8. forgot to make the 1st trade
  9. Winston Justice is still falling- may be who they were looking at with Giants pick at #25
  10. Gruden must be really stupid- just like Marv- since he took a 2nd round player (OG no less) in the 1st round
  11. Justice is stil on the board at #22 & dropping like a rock
  12. read the Mke Mayock mock draft from yesterday. He had the Bills taking Whitner @ #8.
  13. too many posters play fantasy football and are applying value concepts to the NFL draft. In the NFL, its more important to get playmakers than to get a bunch of players who the experts perceive to be properly slotted. Marv did what he has always done. Stayed in this draft slot and took who they graded as the best player on their board. Whitner will be a playmaker and it will soon be forgotten where he was selected, as opposed to taking the expert's choice of Ngata who promptly eats himself out of the league. Any expectation of trading down were ill conceived, since Marv does not trade on draft day.

  15. that's what happens when you lock onto one player. Marv did what he always does - sticks to his draft board no matter what- even if a trade down would offer more value. Too bad Marv never trades on draft day
  16. Bills panicked just like TD did when Detroit pulled a surprise and took Harrington. Once Huff was off the board, the Bills strategy was shot.
  17. Not a surprise- Marv does not trade on draft day
  18. because Marv does not trade on draft day
  19. Bradway is gone. Jets will not take pretty boy Leinart.
  20. NO He's soft, not dedicated enough and can't throw in the wind
  21. Leinart's another pretty boy who doesn't have the arm or teh dedication to excell in the NFL Take Cutler or the kid from Oregon if you want a QB
  22. because it costs a lot less to get a targeted player- especially if they trade down with #8
  23. not all- I think his reference is to the one's that end up playing QB for the Bills. not that there's anything wrong with that- other than being not very good QBs.
  24. Marv may be seriously tempted by Cutler, if he see alot of Jim Kelly in him. They may take Cutler and see if they can trade with all the teams after then that need a QB- including the Jets.
