The situation is even worse for a new owner. The percent or the purchase price to be financed will be closer to 80%. In addition, the new owner will have to repay the principal of that note out of cash flow, although those payments won;t show up in the P&L. On a 40 year note, that is $140 mil per year on top of the interest payments. Further complicating things, is that a new stadium will state of the art luxury boxes won;t help because the area's economy can't buy the boxes. Without additional cash from revenue sharing, there is no way a new owner can keep the team in Buffalo.

it's not about the total carries. It's about when he decides to run. you seriously need to get your head out of your $ss. Without a comprehensive revenue sharing plan, NOBODY who buys the Bills can afford to keep them in Buffalo and compete for the best players. The Bills do not have multiple sources of revenue like luxury boxes and TV deals that are availabe to large market clubs. There is not a large enough corporate presence to buy the luxury boxes needed to compete. On top of the current operating expenses, any new buyer will also have to allocate cash to cover the debt service on the $500 + million debt needed to buy the team. The Bills will have even less cash to fund signing bonuses for free agents.

The problem is compounded when a buyer takes over the Bills with debt service on $300 million. The $7 mil profit quickly turns into a $17 mil loss without factoring into the cash drain of big signing bonuses. With a weak economy and no major corporate headquasters in town, there is no base to buy luxury boxes even if the NFl kicked in to build a state of the aret stadium. Can't see how the Bills will be able to remianin Buffalo after Ralph is out of the picture unless major changes are made to the revenue sharing arrangement.

This is what got the Bills in cap jai with Butler the first time around with huge contracts for players on the downside of their careers-like Ostrowski. Bills need to invest a 1 year contract in Fletcher and a 1st day draft pick slated for his replacement.

The mmore disturbing conclusioin is that for all those passes in the red zone, very few are actually thrown into the end zone. Bills have a mysterious aversion of attacking the end zone and actually attempting to score TDs. Stats show that teams score a higher percentage of passing TDs

There's a few nice players, but understand if I don't see your team addressing pressing OL needs in round one (later is probably more likely this year). However, I do agree the lack of significant depth elsewhere could launch a few more OLs into the first round. "

Actually Miami did not impose any sanctions. The suspensions were directed by the ACC. Miami would not have suspended anyone on its direction.

Marv is a good administrator but his strength is not in putting together a gameplan. If he had his way, the Bills would have never run the no-huddle.

For Schiano to take the Miami job would be a step backward. Miami is not a plum job. They have horrible facilities, no on-campus stadium. They play in the decrepit orange bowl. Many of the coaches they let go or wiht ties to South Florida are now cherry picking the top talent from Miami under the Hurricanes nose Schiano has better facitlities at Rutgers and is the only major college football program in the NY area. Not to mention he is treated like a god for bringing back football to NYC. NO way he goes back to Miami. The guy that could change the direction in a hurry is Spurrier. they should break the bank to get the BAll Coach.
