Ted Ginn is a soft wuss. Can run fast but his patterns are poor. He would be a lock for the Bills if TD were still around. Not likely in the new regime.

The key is not how many fans can be drawn. The key to being competitive is corporate sponsors paying big money for luxury boxes and suites and funidng other revenue streams. The problem in Buffalo is that there is no source of corporate cash. The County as the largest employer is not pumping money into luxury boxes.

The question is will JMac and Fairchild put more emphasis on agile guys that can pass block or more of teh mastadon guys that excell more at run blocking. It seems from Fairchild's days with the Rams that he would like get his linemen in space to utilize sweeps and screens.

if pass blocking preferred, it sounds like that refutes any interest in teh big roadgrader type OG like Bennie Anderson. the type of player Bill keeps harping on so does Jmac favor technique over bulk?

yeah- we should have taken a big, fat underperforming "stud" like Mike Williams (Bunkley) because that's what the experts predicted. then he wouldn't have to meet any performance standards because he was the consensus pick.

This defense does not stress gap control. That is your first problem. The defense is built on attacking the backfield through the gaps. The LBs are supposed to fill the vacated holes.

Marty is great at stablizing a franchise and turning around basket cases. (see all prior jobs) However, he completely meltdowns in the playoffs. (see all prior jobs) His time has passed. Not to mention, his blood feud with Smith will force teh issue.

There is no way in hell that Drew ends up in NE. He is the exact opposite of everything Bellichek needs to run that offense. Quick decisions, quick reads, quick passes. Looks like Drew will throwing to the neighborhood kids.

The Bills did not have a "great" OL. It was very productive due to the advantage gained by the no huddle. However, as was apparent against the Redskins, the OL was overmatched against a good defense.

NO Mangini is not stupid. He played the whole year with a group of backs and made the playoffs. No way he gives up a #1 for damaged goods that has only produced modest numbers.

Ruben Brown was drafted as a LT which is where he played his whole career at Pitt. He could not unseat Fina at LT so ended up at LG.

How can you possibly consider TD's year 2 draft average? His top picks underperformed and his 2nd day picks provided absolutely zero production. The inability of TD to find ANY productive players (except McGee) on any of day 2 drafts is what really crippled this franchise. For a talent guru, his day 2 drafting was horrible.
