  1. Spend the money on Adalius Thomas - who supposedly can play the middle.
  2. If the Bills don't sign Nate, they should go hard after Adalius Thompson to replace Fletcher in the middle. This money may be better spent/
  3. no thanks- He spends more time in the trainers room that on the field. not worth the big money he will demand.
  4. lol no way do the Bills keep 5 DTs when Denney and HArgrove can both move inside on passing downs. I could see them taking Okoye and a FA as Okoye could possibly play on teh outside if he had to
  5. WRs are a dime a dozen in the FA market. Bills don't need a #1 draft pick at WR- the bust rate for top draftred WRs is notoriously high.
  6. Supported by what ? sounds more like urban legend to me keep repeating a rumor and it becomes real?
  7. If Okoye is as quick as advertised, he could also move to left DE on ocassion like the Pats do with Ty Warren in order to maximize his production. Based on this observation - drafting Okoye is even more likely if they lose Kelsay -
  8. Wade has been the most likely option since Jerry Jones hired Jason Garrett to be OC. It probably took so long becasue Wade was holding out for Ronnie Jones to be his special teams coach.
  9. It doesn't matter if he's hurt all the time. The SKins did the right thing by sinking big money into a big name player. This will earn them big brownie points with Pastabelly and the other talking heads.
  10. Re-watch the Super-Bowl and see what happens when the DT rotation takes a hit - in this case because Tommie Harris was out. Anderson sucks- so the Bills do need another viable DT even if McCargo is the real deal.
  11. Culpepper's knee is not his problem. He suffers from lack of gray matter between his ears - He can't make timely decisons and reads - which will never be fixed by rehabbing his knee. This problem is compounded because he always used to be to run around and thru people when he got in trouble, whichis no longer an option. Cam Cameron may disagree with you about Cleo Lemon- he developed him in San Diego and may have more confidence in him than the other slugs on the roster.
  12. 1. how does Denver make it to #6? 2. no way is WR Oakland's biggest need. OL is the biggest need. They could use a QB but have a functional one in Brooks (and could always pick up Drew) if they had some semblence of an OL. 3. Kitna is fine in Detroit 4. RB is probably a bigger need for Houston since Kubiak doesn't seem to have the Shanahan magic of finding gems in teh late rounds. But OL is the biggst need and has been since Boselli went on permanent IR. Why do you think Carr spends most of teh game on his back. 5. No way Hall is the first RB picked. 6. Arizona'a OL has sucked for years- that is their biggest need.
  13. no LBs could be the thinnest area on the team in terms of starter quality
  14. Agree they will stongly consider Anderson, but not Adams. Carriker is another possibiity if he somehow slides to the 2nd.
  15. You may be right- but Drew will probably QB for the Raiders next year as Al Davis tries to reclaim another long ball has-been.
  16. make that DOMED DOMED we already paid for an unbuilt domed stadium in Lancaster
  17. try reading the article. Belichek overrode the trainer. He wasn't trying to play at 75%. He should not have been practicing at all- but Bellichek convicned him to play - basically with the threat of not making the team. You can start to see why Bellichek lies on the injury report every week.
  18. hanging his head again!
  19. yeah- the only minor difference is at the combine they run around in their underwear and at the Senioir Bowl they strap on pads and actually perform in game conditons -
  20. yeah - as long as its a 3-4- he's real flexible
  21. yeah - you are right it's better to have journeyman vet who understands where he is supposed to be - but can't get there due to his lack of speed, size and skill than to draft and play a young stud who can actually make plays but may be out of position once in a while. How could I have been so blind.
  22. 1. Even though Okoye may in Kiper's top 10, he is not the prototypical oversized DT and may not fit most standard 4-3 defenses who rely on big DTs. Thus- there is a good chance he will be available to the Bills at #12. 2. Your last sentence is your best response yet to drafting Willis at MLB. you don't want him in the 1st round because he's too raw even though he has the skills you need. Yet - you expect to draft someone in the 2nd round with less talent to be a starter. OK - I see clearly now
  23. a
  24. Take a look at how Parcell's career numbers with Bill Belicheck by his side as an assistant compare with those when the "other Bill" was someplace else. Bill + Bill 12 seasons, 117-73-1 (.616 pct) Two for three in Super Bowls, with four other playoff appearances. Parcells alone 7 seasons 55-57-0 (.491 pct) Two playoff appearances - and zero victories. Great injustice that the Bills played the Giants when they still had Belichek
  25. Okoye is not a junior, but he's younger than the junior's anyway. so he's the guy.
