  1. He's a slow high motor guy with bad knee
  2. Agreed - Jamaal Andersaon is a blue chip prospect-who will probably go top 5. If he was available, there would be enough interest to generate a trade down.
  3. The only Moulds is not done with is the bitching and backstabbing. He's a true veteran character guy that Marv would be happy to have tearin gup his lockerroom. He was done years ago when he tore his groin muscle.
  4. I'd replace AJ with Scott Pioli - who may not have the title but gets the job done. Hard to put AJ in the top 3 with the fiasco he created with his coaching staff. Most of that was self-inflicted due to his ego - ala Teflon Tom too worried abouta power struggle.
  5. BAsed on the tender of only a 3rd round comp, it doesn't look like the Bills were all taht impressed with Hargrove. With the way they overpay mi-round free agents, another $500,000 would have upped the compensation toa 1st and 3rd- which would have indicated a real commitment. This leaves the door open to draft another DE to bump Hargrove if one drops in the draft.
  6. you are being overly optimistic of who will be left for the Bills. It is highly likely that Lynch & Ginn fall out of top 15 and Jarrett falls to end of 1st round if not the 2nd. Jarrett picked a bad year to come out while running 4.7. Thus, Okoye, Willis and Adams could all go by #12. Levi Brown may also be gone if Houston takes Brady Quinn and Miami takes the OT to replace MacIntosh who they just released. If Atlanta gets to pick between Adams and Landry-then teh DE takes priority and the cupboard looks pretty empty for the Bills in their areas of need.
  7. He will probably fall into the 2nd round. No way do you take him at #12.
  8. the sky is falling the end is near
  9. Thurman went to Oklahoma State. And Peterson will be long gone by #12.
  10. Joe D is a borderline hall of famer I see he has been in the news recently and has no pension plan - so he should come cheap. Sign him up!
  11. Tell your son he should watch bills_fan's video link. Based on that play, Willis is superman.
  12. not sure how these posters that constantly bad mouth the team and don't go to the games even qualify as fans. But hey, Buffalo has the best sports fans in the world, just ask 'em.
  13. Neither Willis nor McCauley will be available in those slots. You will need to take Willis at #12.
  14. we should be able to get their #1 next year too.
  15. Any "guaranteed" money automatically gets amortized over the life of the contract, even if that money is paid in later years. Money can be pulled into the fiest year of a contact by identifying a bonus as a roster bonus. Although not guaranteed, the money is typically earned by passing of an easily met condition, like the start of training camp. Thus the entire amount is counted in the cap the year it is paid.
  16. With good combines, all the players you list may be gone by #12. Okoye and Branch are no brainers to go in top 10. Miami is cutting their LT so Levi Brown may be their target. Willis ran well at the combine and may move into top 10 since other MLB options are so poor. If the above options are gone, hoepfully a DE or Brady Quinn with some sex appeal falls to #12 and the Bills are able to trade down.
  17. I would agree that Okoye is the first option, but there is very little chance he will be available at #12. You better hope Willis is still there at #12 - if not the Bills will be looking at Revis at CB. Miami is cutting loose most of their OL including their LT (McKinney, Fat Bennie, McIntosh) so there is a very high likelihood they take Levi Brown at #9.
  18. yeah- I could see how 2 plays in an all-star game definitely define how good he can be with good coaching. After those 2 plays, I wouldn't even bother looking at the other 4 years of game tape in real games. good job!
  19. Spikes wasn't in pass coverage when he was healthy. Fantasy land to think he can play MLB in the cover 2 when he can't move. Since the Bills can't afford to buy studs, they have to draft them. Patrick Willis will be a stud and will do for the Bills what Urlacher does for Chicago.
  20. Even with a CB and S going in the top 12, Okoye and Branch will still be gone by #12. The overhyped WRs like Jarret and Ginn will drop out of the top 10. Quality DTS are very hard to find.
  21. He's always been a legitimate guy - except to the idiots like Mel that don;t watch any tape of teh guy actually playing. Bills better hope he doesn't move into the top 10 and they lose out on both him and Okoye.
  22. Willis will go top 15.
  23. . . .except at the ticket office on game day- when it matters
  24. cost to move up is prohibitive. go back to when the Bills drafted Thurman with Marv in the draft room. They had him at the top of their board and were in pretty much the same situation with Ronnie harmon. Yet, they still did not move up, eve though the cost was a fraction of what it would be to move into the top 5. Bills will not move up for a RB who has a shelf life of under 4 years.
  25. not sure what you're watching, but Thomas Jones would be an improvement over McGahee. He catches the ball better and runs harder between the tackles.
