  1. NO he can't score TDs from the trainer's room.
  2. Jarrett is a punk - and a slow one at that
  3. I diagree with your logic. If Turner won't win the big one in SD, why would the Bills make him the center piece of their offense? The Bills would be better off using the pick on a rookie with upside to become the man. San Diego has a legitimate shot at the Super Bowl in 2007. Turner is worth much more to San Diego to fill int for LT than an unknown 2nd round pick for the 2007 Super Bowl push. That outweighs the chance of losing him in 2008 for nothing OR - when they could franchise him or get a comp pick.
  4. Jarrett is a punk - and a slow one at that
  5. Drew Rosenhaus is no fool. Willis needs to play well in 2007 in order to get that big contract. The Bills are basically making it clear they will have a backup plan in place if Willis gets hurt or holds out. Thus, eliminating any leverage Willis would have by holding out. Drew may play hardball- but he will have Willis in camp on time in 2007. Bills should keep Willis unless they get a high 2nd round pick.
  6. The only way Peterson falls to #12 is if the Bills spend big bucks on Rhodes, Dillon and Chris Brown to replace Willis- and then can't trade Willis. With Peterson available at #12 but no roster spot available, Marv panicks and drafts a punter.
  7. that doesn't reflect that even in the games he played- he was playing injured or got knocked out of the game entirely.
  8. what a plan! Sign a bunch of injury prone fumblers and then give away a legitimate starter for peanuts. Other teams must be amazed by this plan. That's why they are just waiting for marv to cut Willis outright
  9. which would not be enough for Willis. Willis is more valuable to teh Bills on the field than a low 3rd round pick. Willis is a proven starting caliber RB witha big chip on his shoulder in a contract year. Bills should keep him.
  10. Culpepper's knee is not the problem. His bigger problem is lack of gray matter between the ears for which there is no cure. He takes too long to process info and make decsions. Running around and throwing it up for grabs to Randy Moss is not an option any more. Culpepper was a big mistake - but he was Nick Saban;s mistake so Camaron could cut ties with him.
  11. The new regime is not sold on Culpepper. Cam Cameron has past history with CLeo Lemon- don;t be surprised when Lemon beats out the big, dumb one. They will not give up any picks to get Trent Green.
  12. If Charlie gives him the real scoop, then Quinn won't be going to Cleveland. Brady Quinn is another in the long line of overhyped golden domers.
  13. why would you give him anymore money now? For anything less than a top 5 pick in the 2nd round, the Bills should keep Willis and let himplay for his next contract.
  14. He has as much chance falling to the Bills as Calvin Johnson does. could happen - and pigs could fly
  15. so who are we dealing with? and who will they want so bad to give up valuable picks to move up?
  16. Chris has shown good talent when on the field. Unfortunately he is not on the field very much. He is injured ALL the time. not a guy you want to rely on.
  17. skippy? how many teams were willing to move up for Leinart. Oh yeah --ZERO
  18. That's the point- All of the players that you think a team will fall in love with will be gone by #12. You can't trade without a partner and you won't find a partner if there is nothing of substance to trade for.
  19. stop the madness. Kenny Davis had no impact on the success of Thurman Thomas Kenny Davis only played in blowouts because the Bills could afford to only run straight ahead. Kenny was the brightest bulb and couldn;t figure out blitz pickups or pass patterns. Thurman was a Hall of Fame talent- do not tarnish that with the above nonsense.
  20. NO- This is simple. Any amount of money due under the contract that is guaranteed is treated exactly as a signing bonus and amortized over the life of the contract (up to 7 years). Any payments, whether roster bonus, salary or otherwise, can be guaranteed. The only difference is that a true "signing" bonus is paid in year 1 upon execution of the contract. Guaranteed amounts can be paid at any time, but will be paid even if the player cut.
  21. OK - who is that can't miss prospect (that the Bills don't want) who will be available at #12 that will bring trade partners out of the wood work?
  22. I would guess the reason that Dockery got more guaranteed money is that a large portion of it is deferred and not paid in year 1 as as a signing bonus. You need to know the specifics of each deal, including how much each of them got paid in cash in 2007, to be able to compare the deals.
  23. Jamaal is far and away the best player on the board and plays a position of need for most teams. Bills best bet would be to trade down since there should be
  24. maybe we will draft Beekman as well
