  1. Disagree- McCauley is the anti-cover 2 CB. He is lost in zone coverage. fits much better as a press cover guy.
  2. he hasn't done it since he tore up his leg. The big downside with Bush is that he can't or won't block- which will get JP killed.
  3. why? because Chris Brown has a lot more upsise that A-Train. He has more speed and catches better. His downside is that he has not been able to stay healthy. He would fine as part of a rotation with the hope he stays healthy. Bills should sign Brown and draft a RB on day 1.
  4. Stop with the semantics. In your scenario, you are using 3 picks on 1 player. Instead of picking 3 bodies to help your team, you have 1 - and an injury riddled one at that. Those "low value" 3rd rounders should become 2 starters. With all the holes the Bills have, it is stupid to use 3 picks on a RB.
  5. let me put this in prespective. The Jets made the playoffs last year with Leon Washignton (a 4th rounder) their best back. No way do the Bills give up 3 first day picks for any RB.
  6. 3 day 1 picks for the privelige of overpaying for for a guy with injury concerns I don't think so
  7. That desparate team would be the BILLS. there is no team with less at the RB spot than us. We could probably give up next year's #1 to move up to take the #12 pick fron us in this year's draft. Teflon Tom would jump on this deal.
  8. sure we could have re-signed him. and we would have another year of poor run support from the MLB. we will get better run support for less money without him.
  9. If his measureables are so good, then 11 teams won't pass on such a versatle stud. Miami may reach for Brown since they have no OL left, but highly doubt that Ginn and Hall go top 12. More likely Laron Landry is 1st DB off the board
  10. Despite the impossibility of starting a rookie at MLB, I believe the Bears drafted Urlacher as a safety, changed his position to MLB and started him in the cover- 2 in his rookie year. Pure blasphemy You obtain your studs in the draft. If Willis is a stud in the making, they draft him with the intent to start him. If he can't hack MLB as a rookie (which I doubt), they start him at Spikes spot.
  11. save us the bother and start visiting the Patriots board. a lot less aggravation for everyone
  12. they should sign Brown, Atrain and draft a rookie If Brown stays healthy, he can be a dynamic back both running and receiving. unfortunately you can not rely on him due to his injury history so you need the Atrain.
  13. you don;t pay $5 mil per year for decent' that's what you get from a 2nd day pick. a day one pick will be an upgrade for a fraction of hte cost.
  14. Tyrone Moss is Willis all over again. no chance
  15. Lynch's all around skills fit the prototype of what FAirchild wants in a back better than Peterson- who is a better pure runner. Highly doubt Bills trade up for a one dimensional player- no matter how good he is.
  16. too bad he won't be running against Pac10 defenses in the NFL
  17. yes you are
  18. \McCauley is the anti-cover 2 CB. He is lost in zone coverage.
  19. Buster Davis is too small- they just rid of the same player. Pitcock is another Ohio State overhyped DT- we still have the same guy in Anderson. Hunt probably goes 2nd round
  20. He should only be back when he gets out of jail for the criminal charges that should be brought. A two hander across the face is not hockey.
  21. yeah- like any NFL team, will be telling Pastabelly who they really want on draft day. More likely they are playing the talking heads for the fools that they are to disseminate misinformation. It would be to Houston's benefit to feign interest in Quinn so someone will be compelled to trade ahead of the Texans to take him allowing someone like Jamaal Anderson to slide to #8 to Houston.
  22. Rob Riddick scored 14 TDs one year. I wouldn;t want him as my feature back either.
  23. you are correct. defintely don't base it on the lack of production on the field.
  24. Chris Brown, Anthony Thomas and a day 1 rookie to fight it out with Fred Jackson
