  1. and they should have taken Vince Wilfork with that pick. They haven't been able to stop the run or push the pocket since blowing that pick.
  2. hope he can catch with one hand- that wrist injury is not proven to be healed
  3. as long as the DTs push the QB 8 yards deep behind the line - Schoebel will have a shot at getting his hands on the QB
  4. a playmaking LB would put Crowell on the bench as a capable backup - which is where he belongs
  5. without a doubt you take Clady and you play your best players. Since Butler is taking classes at Ivy league colleges, he is obviously smart enough to learn to play C. He may be too tall however. Worst case he backs up at multiple line positons, incluidng LT that he played in college. They probably alos need an experienced C (not the DUKE) until a real legitimate C emerges as ready to start.
  6. Walt Corey was the single biggest reason the Bills did not win the SuperBowl Marv was just as much at fault for not firing him. Bruce playing in a 3-4 was a waste which was compounded by having the undersized Jeff Wright impersonate a nose tackle.
  7. Dorsey may drop to the Bills now that he is rumored to have had secret off season surgery on his leg
  8. we need a legitimate player who can backup a LT. draft him now and play him at G. Value at #11 will be one of the LT, not overrated injured WRs
  9. Bills would have won Super bowls if Marv had cheated like Jimmy Johnson by stealing signals and miking his defensive players
  10. $2 mil for 1 year of insurance for Johnson while your rookie matures makes too much sense.
  11. wel we still have th same guys evaluating TEs that have been failed for the last 7 years. don;t get your hopes up beyond the clowns they have signed so far to impersonate TEs.
  12. If you want immediate contribution, then the Bills should have signed Johnson. Calvin Johnson was the best WR prospect in a generation and he barely made an impact as a rookie This whole WR class is overrated and will produce more busts than starters.
  13. If the Bills felt WR was a "desperate" need, they should have signed Bryant Johnson for $2mil for 1 year. Obviously, the Bills do not view the WR situation as critical as most of this board. They should take the best player at #11 - and that will probably be a LB or OT before a WR
  14. Bills definitely need to bolster the OL They have no legitiamte backup behind either tackle. They cut Merz and have no legitimate backup at C- and the starter gets manhandled on a consistent basis. The value at #11 could be drafting one of the bona fide LTs and moving them to G for the short term.
  15. let's try to stick with the topic. The Bills did nothing to fix their WR situation last year. Can't disagree they spent megabucks to fix the OL - because they ignored it for 10 years in the draft.
  16. sort of like not spendng about $20 mil of available cap room
  17. so who's the back up QB if we give JP away?
  18. We could have had a young, healthy Bryant Johnson as a 1 year option. So yeah- they propably will figure out that adding talent is a good thing even if it is only for 1 year - too bad its too late.
  19. McCargo is fine It will be his 3rd year before he improved enough to start. The problem is expecting any rookie to come in a play like a superstar from day 1.
  20. Bills cut Merz, need a bigger C and have no backup at either T - yet you draft ZERO OL. Don't he surprised if Bills draft a LT who they can play at OG in the short term
  21. Dolphis will draft the guy that signs with them before the draft for teh best deal
  22. in his 2nd year, he was such a monster that he couldn't put Triplett on the bench.
  23. you are lobbying for a trade down. who is the great prize that a team will be giving up picks and cap room to move up for? Since the draft is such a crap shoot why would any team give up resources and assets to limit their options by moving up (and for whom?)
  24. That's sort of teh point. If teh medical staff are not miracle workers - why handicap them by blowing premium picks on injured players
  25. sure why not take another 10 years to make the playoffs The next coaching regime will appreciate your patience
