  1. The big surprise, at least to most posters, is that the rookie WRs will not dent the WR rotation to any significant amount. Reed and Parrish will have good years now that Turk will actually have plays designed to go down the seams and slants and into the red zone.
  2. that's because hardy plays slow, does not run good patterns and can't get separation from craptacular CBs - but at least he's tall
  3. 1. the part Americans don;t understand about the game is the futility caused by lack of scoring and scoring chances. What mis-understood rules do you think would change someone's outlook on the game? 2 & 3 pretty tough to argue that soccer will become common place in America when the only "good" soccer is played by a few selective teams 2000 miles away. If good soccer and good soccer plays can only be made by the superstar elite, soccer does not have much chance of overtaking the NFL and NCAA football in the US.
  4. you are really a masochist if you think Leak would be a capable replacement for Losman as a backup.
  5. Jason Taylor is probably the only DE in teh NFL that weighs less than Schoebel. how can we pass on him
  6. saw somewhere that the Bills were looking at Chris Leak from UF
  7. Tqaylor is on his way to Hollywood mentally he is already there. any draft picks for a 1 year rental player when we have 4 DEs already is pretty dam stupid. If he lost 2 of our DEs to season long injury then maybe you mortgage the future - but it would depend on close to the playoffs you are.
  8. keeping only 7 OL would be typical of the Bills ignorance of its importance. However, even the Bills are not that stupid.
  9. they need a long snapper - bonus if one of the TEs or Ol can do it. LS 1 OL 9 DL 8 LB 6 WR 6 RB-FB 5 QB 3 TE 3 CB 6 S 4 P 1 K 1 53 1. They should keep 9 OL so they can develop some young talent (maybe one goes to the PS) 2. they will probably keep 5 RB/FB. This may go to 6 if they are really serious about running the ball and one of the RB can double as a WR in 5 WR patterns. 3. Probably keep 6 WRs, but might only be 5 if TE or RB is a capable receiver and CB can be gunners
  10. Butler was a victim of his refusal to trade picks to move around to get the players needed at the right value. His philosophy was to stay put and let the draft play out. In this year, he badly miscalculated the availability of the safeties. He should have moved down from their 1st rouod pick and picked one in early 2nd round, because by the time their 2nd round pick rolled around - he panicked and reached for Tilman.
  11. Regardless of your rant, Butler is the best option on the team to take over at LT if Peters is injured for an extended period. The fact that we would have no one to take his place at RG shows how thin the OL is - and how stubborn the front office is in spending mid round draft picks on the OL.
  12. Thurman actually had talent Hardy is tall. He probably won't start game 1 because he can't separate or get off the line of scrimmage.
  13. Preston can't play his natural position of G, let alone C. They are trying to convert Murphy to OT because they again have ignored drafting a player high enough who can actually backup right away. Look at the OL backups - if anyone gets hurt, Trent will be running for his life
  14. he can do it all. 32 teams forgot to draft him through 7 rounds. Bills lucked out
  15. looks like Pyrite finally got some of his stuff published
  16. you probably should add my call that there were no first round WRs in this draft and the Bills should not waste the #11 pick on one.
  17. I can't help it that Atlanta screwed up their draft. Atlanta wasted the #3 pick on a QB no better than Henne and Brohm who went at the end of the 2nd round.
  18. and Peters did it so well that the Bills cut him outright after not even drafting him
  19. please submit your resume to support these opinions
  20. must have got his fshion advice from Herb Tarlick.
  21. Key foprgot to tell him to get a good looking clown suit and he could make a killing as a TV star
  22. McGee is better in man than zone coverage. he would be ideal on the slot WR. He still stuggles to play the cover-2 zone
